You accuse him of spinning the facts, yet you're the one here trying to spin the OOC ties? Why, is Cora's ties suddenly incriminating because her alliance members voted for them? It is a democracy you know, and it's not exactly a secret. If USN members didn't approve, they wouldn't have voted for her.
You have this misconception that everything Cora does is following directions handed down to her. This isn't the case. Cora is her own leader, and she leads her alliance in her way. Cora is no puppet, and pinning everything that happens on Cora's OOC ties is the sham here.
Its just plain ignorance to say OOC ties have nothing to do with this one.
I voted for Cora when I was in USN but was strongly against both the position that was taking with CSN during both rounds of talks about the MADP treaty and declaring neutrality in the Karma war. Voting for someone does not mean you agree with everything single position they take. There was a poll put up by destro shortly before the war which showed most USNers wanted to enter on the side of Karma and CSN. Go figure.

There is a line where private inquires turns into a trial by public opinion. What we have seen in this thread is not marooners, especially those at government level, trying to actually find out why they have made the move, or even criticizing USN. It is now an outright attempt at putting USN on the spot and publicly embarrass them. The overwhelming representation from CA has defined for USN in this thread alone what they expect a maroon alliance should do, and because USN is usurping this rule they have pre-determined, they are now upset that USN isn't responding well to threats and pushes.
Now irregardless of what you think of USN's decision, doing so is just bad form, and show a complete lack of class from what is usually a very classy group of people. Disagreeing with them is fine, but this just shows the malice of which maybe, just maybe, USN didn't want a part of.
Fail exaggeration is fail?
Sure we don't like the decision appears to be headed but USN FA is and has been their own sovereign decision which we fully respect even if we don't agree or disagree with it.
If there was an orchestrated campaign of one or more maroon alliances trying to "embarass" another like you suggest there would be a hell of a lot more dirty washing coming out than there has done is this thread.
Just wanted to state that I'm very impressed by the goodwill and understanding that many people in maroon have shown to USN, certainly in this thread. -
I nominate niciplatt of CSN is no one has done already

So you haven't set up your own trades because you're helping others?
I think you can indulge yourself a little

I vaguely remember you

This paragraph explains the reasoning which CSN used to conclude USN was not a valued ally. That's all I was saying.
I don't cancel treaties with my valued allies.
I was in USN for 6 months. I've been in CSN for the last month.
Who are you?
-
Not really.
Going back further...
These are where the USN members who signed Chestnut are now.
Cora_McStrap - USN
Desertfox - IAA
RedvsBlue999 (sig) - Gone.
General Argent Doom - IAA
Destro - CSN
Beale947 - USN
Fronz - CSN
Jar Jar Binks - USN
Rodrod - USN
Morden - USN
T.E. Lawrence - CSN
Yes really. Far easier to look at the Government just before the Karma war and where they are now:
Cora_McStrap - USN
Desertfox - IAA
Sig - Angelite
Krim_Xephon (replaced Sig for a while) - IAA
General Argent Doom - IAA
Kyoto - USN
Fronz - CSN
Jar Jar Binks - USN
lewistothezor - CSN
When 5/8 members of a government resign and 2/3 of the ruling executive of the alliance you can hardly say there wasn't much change. One of the major problems at USN pre-war was the divided opinion regarding certain Foreign Affairs positions. At least now there's some clarity of the issue but USN has taken this hard.
So best of luck in all your future endeavours USN and hope to see you recovered to your former strength soon
EDIT: nearly forgot to mention Sig...

Uh oh I think we may have to hold the drama lama back

I just wanted the nation(s) who was/were attacked (that were already decommed) reimbursed.
You haven't been able to name any. The one guy you pointed out had military improvements.

And can confirm he did have military improvements. He decommissioned them pretty sharpish mind you.
Like I said to you before read the terms of surrender properly. It's not like they were harsh and its not like you haven't had enough time.
-
Congrats. No hard feelings about the whole war thing

Talk of surrendering to GDA? Sure you got that the right way round

Lets get ready to rumble!

This is somewhat surprising.
