This war has far reaching implications not only in the game, but also in the traditions of the forums. Every year, a whole host of major alliances post fake declarations of war, mergers, treaties, etc on April 1st to celebrate the RL holiday. However, with the increasing absurdity of this war is starting to threaten the sanctity of such an event. We've seen cancellations from previously close alliances, declarations of war on both sides of the war, the dissolution of an iconic bloc, and even an un-necessary pre-emptive strike on an uninvolved parties. What else do we have to try and fool people with??!??! This war will more than likely last through march and into April.. What will those alliances do for pranks? I would not be surprised to find more than one fake DoW, several fake declarations of white peace, and other myriad lame jokes. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this war has been far better than any April Fool's day, but I don't want the tradition to end. I'm hoping that we have see some creative ideas.
