    Individual friendships? Did you ever read the same logs I did? The person in question gave the entire alliance up at the first sign of pressure, and not to the alliance he had "friends" with.

    But you're right. He's gone. I give it five days instead.

    Five days? I dont think so. You dont seem to know the New AiD. We're stubborn headed fellows, so, beware :P

    Unwatched masses of planet Bob,

    The Alliance of International Defence (AiD) has always been keen in helping their friends, even if our inter-alliance treaty does not oblige us to do so. This is the case of this situation.

    It has come to our attention that some alliances have started a small quarrel, or so. The issue is that in this little fight, one of our friends got involved. Our Good friends Echelon, and wow, they are being attacked by The Dark Evolution , naturally, this cannot be allowed. We find somehow annoying this teaming up of alliances to battle our friends, and is due to that, that we decided to assist them. We’ll try to put a bit more of weight on our friends side.

    We, by this announcement, declare a State of War against The Dark Evolution to aid our Friends of Echelon.

    And so, we march to War:

    Hang out our banners on the outward walls

    They cry is still, ‘They come’. Our castle’s strength

    Will laugh a siege to scorn; here let them lie

    Till famine and the ague eat them up.

    Were they not forced with those that should be ours,

    AID gets LOUDer!!!

    Hello fellow inhabitants of planet Bob,

    I come here to spread some great news that have been taking place in the Alliance of International Defence (-AiD-).

    First of all, we have just changed our Alliance Affiliation (AA) from “-AiD-“ to “Alliance of international Defence” and with this, we have moved our forums and improved them, to a new address: http://www.cnaid.x10hosting.com/

    Last, but not least, I am proud to announce an ODP between –AiD- and LOUD (League of United Defense).

    Preamble:

    As sovereign alliances bound by friendship and common purpose, the members of Alliance of International Defence (hereby referred to as -AiD-) and League of United Defense (hereby referred to as LOUD) are very new friends and hope through the common good can work together and help one another in an Optional Defense Pact (ODP)

    Non-Aggression

    The members of –AiD- and LOUD shall act with common decency and respect towards one another at all times, in both public and in private, and shall work to resolve any and all problems through the appropriate private channels. Members of LOUD and -AiD- shall not declare war on, attack, spy on, or otherwise harm by proxy, a nation of the other alliance. In the event a nation breaches these conventions, the government of the offending nation shall punish the member as appropriate, and if relevant, shall ensure full reparations for any damage caused are paid, amount as agreed by both governments.

    Financial Aid

    The members of LOUD and -AiD- agree to assist one another in times of need, if a formal request for assistance is made via a post in the appropriate embassy on either alliances forum. Aid may be requested during times of war or during times of peace, and shall not be refused as long as the reason for the request is appropriate and the amount requested is within the capacity of either alliance to reasonably give. Aid may be sent during times of war, as long as doing so would not breach another treaty held by either alliance, with the exception of NAP only treaties, which shall not apply under this clause.

    Intelligence

    Recognizing that information can be the most potent of weapons, both alliances agree to co-ordinate efforts in regards to gathering, analysing, and interpreting information and intelligence about the greater cyberverse, as well as potential breaches of security within LOUD or -AiD- itself. Both alliances shall convey all pertinent information obtained, via specific officials designated by each alliance, as soon as practically possible after information comes to hand. Information regarding an impending military threat against the other alliance must be conveyed immediately by any practical method without compromising the security of the information in the process. Both alliances shall inform the other of potential threats against their own alliance as soon as possible, as time and events allow.

    Optional Mutual Defence

    In the event that –AiD- or LOUD is attacked either side has the option of helping the other out but is not required to.

    Cancellation

    In the event of serious breaches of this treaty, or if either alliance feels it can no longer continue to uphold this treaty with the other alliance despite diplomatic efforts to resolve any disputes that may exist, the treaty may be cancelled by either alliance. In such an event, 72 hours notice must be given to the other alliance via a post in the relevant embassies on both the LOUD and -AiD- forums, prior to the cancellation taking effect. A 48 hour grace period shall then apply, during which time neither alliance may declare war on nor attack a member of the other alliance, after which no such rules shall apply.

    Announcement from -AiD-

    My Fellow Aidiens and other inhabitants of Planet Bob,

    It is no secret that during the last few weeks, the Alliance of International Defense (-AiD-) has stumbled with a discussion of a government Reform. We Aidiens now face the need of placing in motion a Government Reform, a Reform that will surely lead –AiD- to a brighter future, and it is with that intention and purpose that I assume the role of President of The Alliance of International Defense, to lead and organize this reform, until it takes place and a new charter is elected.

    As many of you may recall, during this last few months –AiD- has been in decline. Not only have we lost prominent members of the alliance, but also, inactivity seemed to flood our forums. But, Is –AiD- dying? No, we certainly are not. We are just undergoing some difficulties, but nothing as serious as to consider the end of the alliance.

    We decided that a government reform was imminent, and so, we got all our hands to work. Most of us are aware of the referendums that took place about a suggested charter where, despite the fact that it was not popularly welcomed, the majority of the members that went active on the topic have suggested new reforms and ideas of charters, ideas which were fantastic, but due to the fact that no one took lead on suggesting other reforms, they were mostly forgotten.

    As President of the Alliance of International Defense, my goal is to have several reform projects, so that we all members can decide our future with handful ideas, not holding to the only one that is available. That is why I will give a week time for all members who are interested, to present their reform charter in the forums. After the week has passed an immediate referendum will take place, which will be the voting to decide which of the reforms projects is the best, and after the referendum is finished, I promise to place in immediate action the selected charter and call to elections to set up the new government.

    The government which I will lead will be one temporary, whose only purpose will be to take the necessary steps to allow a reform of popular choice. It is for that reason that I have chosen experienced people to take the necessary roles in the government while the reform is taking place. I have chosen 19thSpecops, who has vast experience as MoI and has proven himself extremely loyal to the wellbeing of the Alliance, to act as Minister of Interior. Sequentially, I have chosen High Emporer Dave, who also counts with colossal experience and good will to act as Minister of Foreign Affairs. To act as Minister of Finance, I have chosen none other than one of our most active members and one that magnificently coordinates the selling and buying of tech within the alliance. Of course, I am referring to none other than LeonardIV. Last, but not least, to endure the tasks of recruiting, I have chosen a person who counts with an innovating way of recruiting, and is also one of the founders of the Alliance. For the task, I have chosen Juan to take charge of the Ministry of Recruitment, which I believe is a key for the development and growth of our alliance.

    So, without further things to be said, I promise to lead –AiD- through this reform as best as humanly possible, hoping that when all the deed is done, -AiD- will come to its prime, coming again to another golden age. And to sum up, I make a call to alliance unity, as it is only being united that we will find our path in the world of Cybernations and achieve what’s best for our alliance.
