  1. I really think team senators ought to have a limit on repeat representation, or there should be a limit on the number of senators from a single alliance that can hold their position, or maybe add 3 more senator positions... same old same old just gets boring

  2. Nation: The Barking Frog

    Ruler: Diademic

    Alliance: Commonwealth of Orange States

    Link: http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_display.asp?Nation_ID=581298

    Resources: wheat and aluminum

looking for Orange team members who would like to trade (I would like lumber specifically, whatever else is fine)

Also interested in selling tech if there is a nation from RnR or Atlas interested in buying (I know Atlas is not predominantly orange but they are our friends)

    Cheers!

  3. Day one always sucks... looking for some trading partners :smug:

Resources: Lead and Wheat  (I think these are possibly the two worst resources to try and trade)

(Not particular about what I get in return at the moment)

okay so it turns out I get a bonus resource if I can find aluminum and lumber....don't make the barking frog beg lol

  4. For all of STA's talk of "we leave the battlefield together," NpO couldn't return the favor. It shows who they really are.

With the terms of surrender for Polaris not asking for the disbanding of their alliance there is no way that such a demand can be asked for in so far as the STA is concerned. I'm glad to see peace come to the New Polar Order and wish them well in their rebuilding ...

As for the assertion that Polaris abandoned the STA... Tyga had already said that the STA would not leave the field of battle so long as her allies were still engaged so how does one expect the war to end if the STA doesn't fold while her allies are still fighting and her allies won't fold so long as she is still fighting? The ONLY way for this war to end was for Polaris to surrender first so that their allies' obligations are fulfilled. Honourable fight Polaris! Honourable fight STA!

    Bring on the peace!

  5. Ragnarok is currently at war so I can't free up my aid slots but I would be happy to aid your alliances development once the Rok has acheived peace... please don't take this as a criticism but your largest nation has a NS of no greater than 2,500... so you're competing with many much larger alliances in recruiting, and those larger alliances all have banking nations (which yours doesn't as yet), and that may make them more attractive to newbies.

But your nations have one really big advantage that larger nations don't, you can buy technology a lot cheaper. So you could expediate your alliances growth and your own nations' growth by entering into trade deals with other alliances whereby you agree to sell 50 tech to a nation of theirs in exchange for 3 million for your alliances growth. I'm certain there are many Ragnarok members who would be willing to trade with you in this manner if you are at all interested.

  6. It's just my opinion but I don't think that anyone can agree that the STA has acted honourably defending their allies (which I do believe) if they presume to offer terms for the cessation of hostilities that include the fracturing of their alliance. Terms that require that certain members be nulled from holding office in the government or that others be expelled altogether suggest that there is a debt of guilt to be paid, and I fail to see how the Siberian Tiger Alliance is guilty of anything other than to defend their own allies... and to that end, they can hardly be held accountable and punished for acting honourably, lest the terms being offered are willingly deplorable.

But what do I know of politics... I have friends on both sides of this conflict and, while I wish the allies of the Rok great success and ultimate victory, I do not wish to see unreasonable expectations placed on parties clearly not responsible for the escalation of this war.. and asking for the disbandenment of an alliance, the banishment of its members, or the restriction of its government's membership is far more than a little unreasonable. Punish those responsible.

  7. Tyga, my respect and admiration for the STA continues to grow.. you stand firmly by your allies and that's honourable. I hope that peace comes to the Siberian Tiger Alliance without the prospect of unreasonable terms. You have 18 different alliances attacking you right now:

    Order of Righteous Nations

    Veritas acquitas

    First United Council

    monos archein

    random insanity alliance

    The legend of the Einherjar

    IRAN

    Boards Alliance of Protectorate States

    Defence Confederation

    Valhalla

    Grand Global Alliance

    The Gramlins

    Grand Central Agency

    SSSW18

    Strategic Defense Initiative

    Elysium

    Viridian Entente

    64Digits

I hope that, if nothing else, planet Bob realizes that the STA is an alliance with integrity and honour. You entered this war to defend an ally and I see no fault in that. Which side of this conflict you are on is irrelevant; your actions are honourable and to stand against the weight of so many attacking alliances in defence of ones ally is by far the most honourable course of action. Unfortunately, your ally is fighting a losing war. For surrender terms, do you mean that you will not sign any agreement for peace that requires you to abandon your ally in the aftermath of the current conflict or in the midst of it?
