The Minister of Communications race was down to the wire - the closest I have seen any position go in UPN. The winner was a mere 5 votes, and those were ...ahem... hard earned.
I never thought it would be possible, but I think this Cabinet may actually out-do our last one. Moondog will most definitely be missed as the MoIA but I am sure that Becks will do an outstanding job!! And look at how much our MoFA has accomplished in just a mere 20 minutes!!

You have got to be kidding me. You have already been reported to have multiple nations, and now you use one of them (the first one, no less) to attack 3 other nations?
You see - this is why this all started. It's people doing stupid things like this that bring pain upon themselves and then wonder why they have so many problems.

I think the point was to get public opinion on this to attempt and get UPN in trouble with the world powers
So my question is, if it's because of sexism, then are you a woman or a man, and which was the person who banned you? Because you sound somewhat manly, and last I checked (although it's been a while and I'm sure there's been government changes since), I don't think there are any female government members in UPN.
Actually, the Minister of Recruiting and Minister of Finance are both women in UPN. And both have held government positions within the alliance for several terms and in various offices.

Dude - this was totally inappropriate. For whatever reasons there is a division between an alliance and one of it's members - suggesting that someone commit suicide over it is completely and utterly unuseful. Your edit should have been more along the lines of

Could you do me a favor? In the process of lambasting your former alliance for demasking you (a government member no less) after you declared you were leaving the alliance and had already changed your Alliance Affiliation in game, (a full 24 hours after you had actually applied at a different alliance it turns out) - would you be willing to actually link to your nation correctly?

Here's the deal about POWER and CoMA as it appeares to UPN...
CoMA had no idea about the dealings with UPN/FEAR and POWER. There is no way they could have known because we kept our war preparations secret. The war was started within 24 hours of indication to UPN that POWER had joined CoMA. This is not enough time for CoMA to properly assess the outlying issues with an applicant alliance, though I would have hoped someone from CoMA would have popped there head in at #upn or at our forum and asked a question or two about their applicant.
Regardless - it was never the intention of UPN to draw CoMA into this war. This war is to protect the rights and freedoms of alliances and to punish those that tread upon them. I think I can speak widely when I say that there is no love lost for CoMA - they are innocent victims in an inter-alliance issue - and entering into the fray would only have served to increase unwanted collateral damage.
However - I do agree with both Hans' and Naz's statements above - there does seem to be something fishy going on. There seems to be some rather duplicitous statements by a senior member of CoMA, even though it was apparently delivered *after* the war began. However, as with all alliance politics in CN, nothing's generally considered fully official until there's an announcement on this board, or some update on the wiki.
CoMA - you are doing the right thing by staying out of this.

Wow, a total payment of $570 million and 7,750 tech in reparations. The Crisco is appropriate, I guess that's Valhalla showing a little bit of mercy, even though they made their captors bring it to the party.

He has been taken care of, his last remaining soldier was killed this evening. He offered a trade for cash with one of our younger nations. He was paid and canceled the trade the following day. Our fellow members of UPN stepped up to help out our nation in need. Certainly a fool if he thought he would scam a large alliance and get away with it.
I hope he understands what it means to rogue under the NPO banner as a purple nation.
