This is what I'm talking about. You don't even know the difference between trolling and flaming. Trolling is taking a controversial position for the purpose of drawing attention and causing fights. Flaming is insulting and belittling. Your position isn't controversial or inflammatory: it's just standard brute 101.
By the way, when you want to flame you need to combine something smart with the insult otherwise you just look like a pig wrestling in mud. Like: you're the epitome of "we are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid".

I was around in some really old days and helped build the Citadel. I mostly retired and just came back to see what the heck is going on now that I'm neck deep in my former allies, Umbrella.

They are following their treaty. Sorry, but people are complaining either way..It is hypocrisy in its worse form mate. Who cares, this was THEIR sides' strategy.
I agree with much of what you say. Perhaps my attempt to calm some of the waters in this thread were misguided, I should have seen the futility in such.

He didn't say they didn't, President Obama, just that he hoped they did. It's alright. I know Citadel is protective of its brothers and sisters, but Old Guard doesn't need a jumpy proxy for this verbal spar.

Oh hush. The big people are talking. Besides, the antagonizment of people who's pride was hurt for being removed is never tactful.
As to any war potentially involving any Citadel member: it might or it might not happen. Anyone who deals with 'never will' or 'must' on a regular basis is setting themselves up for a disappointment.
The best that can be done is to make a great many plans and hope one of them will fit whatever comes.
There will most likely be another large war in the future, that seems a reasonable enough statement. Our history here is filled with war and violence. Who will be fighting? It's hard to say. Tensions are currently focused upon the current combatants. It will be easier to try and guess when the action of this conflict is over.

I believe in his announcement, ES didn't deny the quote, but said that it was important to keep in mind WHEN he said it. So we would need those for a full judgement, which Dilber doesn't seem to be providing.

Ouch, looks like you already got shown up on the FAN comment. No need for me to pile on the salt yet.
As for the edit, if you really did your homework, you'd know I didn't fight back there and just took the damage on the chin aside from a parting shot just before I cycled into peace. Now I can buy everything back and get the advantage of a double-tap for myself.
And you've got to be facetious if you don't think there was a nation in range to keep me locked. If you're not and you honestly believe that, well, all I can say is they really don't make them like they used to.
It's not difficult and I'm glad you can boast at following at least basic instructions. The fact that Umbrella couldn't here is just dreadful. I know the Umbrella I used to work with would never allow something so embarrassing to happen.
