    He didn't copy it verbatim, and he applied it to a different situation...This plagiarism is horrendous, and must be stopped! I mean, look at the lengths to which he went to hide his dirty deed! Taking ideas and applying them to different situations while describing longstanding concepts in his own words JUST TO PLAGIARIZE John Lennon. The worst part, imo, is that Lennon, were he here, wouldn't even have fought back.

    EDIT: I used the wrong word, and it totally flipped the meaning of what I said from what I'd intended to say. Usage is important.

    I don´t completely understand this...but...

    There are three pages of discussion (at this point in time) for every day this war is projected to last.

    At the end, there´ll be white peace, tea, and crumpets.

    It´s good war practice for both alliances, and, regardless of who you support, it gives everybody else something to watch.

    Why not have fun while it lasts?

    I was in GGA twice. February 2008-later some time. then about two weeks later until i left for BAM!

    Currently with a new nation, in EG (with a buncha other ppl who've posted here)

    @dio, I was rookie of the month, too! And I forgot to mention that I worked in every single ministry, but didn't do a very good job in any of them (except foreign affairs ;) so I never made it past cav.

    If anybody's unaligned, we're always looking for recruits ;) Be with your former alliance-mates!

    Despite the fact that my alliance is one of the two at the core of this issue, I'm finding it really sad how many good people who used to be in the GGA are posting here. So many former GGA members are posting in this thread as government members of successful alliances, founders of small ones, etc. GGA must have been doing something right to end up with alums like those. Now, all anybody sees is the negative side of things. While I do agree with the vast majority of this thread in saying that this is not what GGA should be doing, I do believe that they are salvagable. There is hope for the Grand Global Alliance. In the meanwhile, bashing tiny alliances' government members is not the way to go. :(

    While we at Elephant Graveyard (Derek's current alliance) can certainly understand your concern, we do not believe that he will be releasing your government channel's logs. In fact, we're approximately as unsupportive as is actually possible of that move. It would, frankly, be stupid. I must point out, however, that, in making this announcement, not only did you call excessive attention to what could have been a small semi-problem (not even a real issue, as logs were never released), but you also released the name of your government private channel on the OWF. >< Good luck!
