id like to see a CB for this, but frankly is the new reason this week.
and a fine reason it is
can anyone give me a page number where this is?
-
Well this war sucked. 22 hours, I barely get to fight, and now we've surrendered and agreed to pay 5000 tech.
-
I haven't been paying attention to politics much, but this is unexpected.
Congrats on not killing each other.
-
Congrats, nice to see you two finally put something on paper.
-
Congrats polar on making it to 5th place
-
I have exactly 1. It means that I can get to the spy screen and see the odds (giving me a rough idea of how many spies they have).
-
Soldiers have a flat cost (which I think is $10) that is only modified by resources and defcon level.
-
Nice to see these two fine alliances sign some paper.
-
Neither. Loyalty is the only measure of how strong an alliance is.
So an alliance of 5 1k nations that are totally loyal is the strongest?
Anyone who posts something which doesn't either directly or indirectly take into account the number of people in the alliance and how much infra they have is living in a fantasy world. I'm not saying they are the only factors, or even the most important ones, but they are important factors which can't be ignored.

Environment has an effect, as does land. Where did you get that formula from scorp?

uaciaut speaks the truth. The game info is misleading when it says it is a percentage. Call it a discount multiplier or something less ambiguous.

Tech isn't worth as much NS anymore

Oh and NATO did good too. A pity about the DoN though.

It is definitely in brackets, ie.
A to B improvements cost $x each
C to D cost $y each.
I have 14 and they cost $750 each, so it seems it jumps to $950 each at 15.

Congrats on the new government. It seems that the ex-ODNers have taken over the ex-LSFers as the dominant group in the government. ZOMG it's an ODN clone
Hope you can get a new protector lined up.
Hail CPCN

Good move SE. Your previous actions weren't helping much.
-
Good show MDC. I hope that other alliances can follow this lead.
-
I'm sorry to see the Demokratikos tried to stage a coup, and I'm glad to see that the rest of you have it under control. And I'm failing to see how the SE is protecting the CPCN, they seem to be dragging this mess out longer than is needs to be.
Good luck sorting this out, democracy FTW.
-
Congrats CPCN and TCB. Democracy FTW

Over 3k still helps with spies.
-
Tech beyond 300 also considerably helps your spies chances of success...
Yeah, forgot about that too.
I hadn't heard of this. Do you know what sort of rate the decrease is?The discount is 2 * tech/NS, and it is capped at 10%.
-
Why does everyone seem to forget Scholers?
My bad. By 300 if you have a few schools and unis you should have scholars, but to get scholars without schools or unis, I think you need 400 tech (someone in my old alliance tested it).
As to why everyone forgets, the reason is lead
-
No.
Past 300, tech only does 3 things:
Decrease infra bills
Increase NS
Help with the great uni (up to 3000).

Even $50 per citizen per day is quite good. I think $30 per citizen per day is good for a nation of this size. Really though, all you give up by collecting this interest is the collection of income from the infra 1 day of bills would have bought, if you do it right. You would forfeit this every 2 days. That is less than $10k until you get to the point you can improvement swap (at which point, it is worth much more than interest).

This is a nice time to come back from the dead. My sparkly new nation has even worse resources than my old one.
Nice to see everyone keeping their games separate.
