    Dictorial States of Justice's Declaration of Existance

    DSJ is a Pink team alliance, but will at discretion accept members from other team colors as well. Nations who call DSJ their home should do their utmost to assist the alliance in whatever ways they can, be it economically, militarily or diplomatically.

    Article I. – Membership

    In order to gain membership of DSJ, our recruits are expected to meet the requirements set by the Director of Recruitment.

    Once a new recruit has been accepted by the Director of Recruitment, the recruit then is promoted to a member of DSJ. Members of DSJ are not permitted to leave DSJ, without first resigning and giving up rights as a member of our alliance. Members, who have “dual membership” in other alliances, will be expelled from DSJ.

    Section 1: DSJ's Application Procedures

    (A) Conditions of Applicants

    (1) Applicants may not be engaged in any form of warfare (unless overridden by Minister of Recruitment).

    (2) Applicants must not be an enemy target by any outside alliance.

    (3) Applicants must belong to but one alliance, dual memberships are forbidden.

    (4) Applicants are urged to change to Pink team, but are not forced.

    (B ) Applicants must be a registered member of our forums; forum usernames must match in-game usernames.

    Section 2: Financial Support of Membership

    (A) Financial Support

    (1) Members who receive financial aid from an official “bank” of must continue membership with the alliance for a minimum 31 days before leaving the alliance, OR pay back aided amount in full within a 31 day period.

    Article II. Expulsion

    If it is found that a member has broken a rule of the charter, or any other official rules set down they may be ejected, or if it is found that they do not meet one of the criteria for membership. The Councilors shall vote upon this. All ejected members will be banned from the forums after receiving an explanation for their ban; they must change their alliance affiliation. Failure to comply will result in war.

    Article III. - Leadership

    › Emperor - A singular leader who is the head of state for DSJ.

    (A) Powers

    (1) Head of State - The Emperor is the primary leader of DSJ and will do as he sees fit.

    (2) Appointments

    The Emperor Shall appoint members to Ministerial or Directorial positions as he sees fit.

    (3) Member Sanctions

    a) Determine sanctions on alliance members up to expulsion and ZI-list.

    (4) May amend this charter as necessary in the case of emergency or a matter of national security.

    (5) Any powers not delegated nor prohibited by this charter are reserved for the Emperor.

    (B ) Succession - The Emperor is appointed for life, and can only leave his position via resignation or impeachment. The Emperor shall appoint his successor with majority approval from the Councilors.

    (C ) Impeachment - The Emperor may only be impeached for the following: Treason, extended inactivity (more than 7 days) without notice, and/or general insanity.

    An Impeachment proceeding may be initiated by a unanimous decision of the Councilors. Impeachment requires a unanimous vote from the Councilors within a 3 day time span. The Imperial Chancellor takes over

    Imperial Chancellor-The iC is the Second highest government position second to Emperor. The iC reports directly the Emperor and is head over the Council.In the case of an impeachment the iC would take over.

    (A)Duties

    › Councilor of Security - The CoS is the highest military position in DSJ. The CoS reports directly to the Emperor and is a Member of the Council

    › Councilor of Foreign Affairs - The CoFA is the highest Foreign Affairs position in DSJ. The CoFA reports directly to the Emperor and is a Member of the Council

    › Councilor of State - The CoST is the highest Internal Affairs position in DSJ. The CoST reports directly to the Emperor and is a Member of the Council

    Section2.01 Directors

    Director of Recruiting-The DoR is to Handle all aspects involving recruitment, this includes the set up and management of the recruitment systems, management of contests as well as the promotion of recruitment within the alliance.The DoR is in the Board of Directors

    Director of Finance-The DoF in the Board of Directors .In their function as Bank Governor, the DoF organizes and maintains the banking system. The Bank Governor is responsible for the appointment and dismissal of Bankers and the distribution of bank funds as appropriate. It is the job of the DoF to Oversee and manage all transactions of money in the alliance that are done above a member to member level, this includes Aid Trains, and Contests involving the alliance and cash rewards.

    Director of Trade-The DoT is to handle all aspects involving trade,this includes the setup of trade circles and recruiting for Trades.The DoT is in the Board of Directors.

    Director of Members- The DoM has the duties to help new younger nations in their nation. This includes national religion and government. The DoM may also help set up trades and tech deals with the DoF and DoT.THe DoM is in the Board of Directors

    Article III. - Foreign Policy

    DSJ is a peaceful alliance but knows that sometimes a ploughshare needs to be lifted and melted until it makes a pretty sword. In cases where DSJ is bound by treaty, the Emperor shall make the decision on action. In the cases of offensive war 2/3's of the Councilors must concur.

    Section 3.01 DSJ will always attempt to resolve disputes via diplomacy first.

    Section 3.02 DSJ will view any attack on our members as a hostile act and retaliate in kind. Inactivity of a member is irrelevant to our enforcement of this policy.

    Section 3.03 DSJ will view any Senatorial Sanction against us or an ally (trade and/or aid of a DSJ member), as an act of war.

    Section 3.04 DSJ will view any spy operations against a member nation as an act of war.

    Article IV.-Offensive Wars

    Members of DSJ are allowed to attack unaligned nations (this includes nations in one man alliances) only with gov approval. Members will not receive support or aid in these wars. Members may also attack any nations on the official enemy list of The Alliance. However, the Emperor and Councilors may decide to suspend permission for such attacks if they have valid reasons. All other offensive wars (against nations in alliances) are prohibited. The Emperor and Councilors will deal with cases, they will punish the offender as they see fit and on a case-by-case basis.

    Article V.-Defensive Wars

    If a member of the alliance comes under attack from an unaligned foreign nation the defender may retaliate as they see fit, unless they receive orders to say otherwise. The Councilor of Security may also order further attacks upon said nation. If a member of the DSJ is attacked by a nation in an alliance of more than two members the Councilor of Secruityis required to contact said alliance to try and resolve the situation diplomatically. Should diplomacy fail the Councilor of Secruity may authorize attacks on the attacking nation.

    Article VI.-Espionage

    Spy operations are treated as part of normal war. Meaning, members are prohibited from using them on aligned nations without government approval but may use them on unaligned nations. Use of spies upon members of the alliances will be treated as an act of war.

    Article VII.-Nuclear Weapons

    If a member of DSJ is attacked with a nuclear weapon, DSJ will allow the nuclear offender to be met with retaliatory nuclear strikes equal plus one to the number of nuclear strikes received; no government approval necessary.

    A nuclear first strike may only be made once permission has been granted by the Emperor or a Councilor though it will only be in very rare circumstances, as it is DSJ's policy to not do this.

    Article VIII- Expulsion

    To officially expel a member of DSJ, the Emperor and 2/3s of the Council Must Agree.

    Article IX- Founder's Rights

    Any nation who joined DSJ in the first thirty days of her existence may call themselves a Founding Nation

    Section V: Amendments

    Any member may create a discussion regarding a potential charter amendment for the whole alliance to discuss. After the discussion Emperor and Council will vote on the amendment, if it passes the alliance, as a whole, will vote on the amendment, a majority vote is required for it to pass
