    For a long time, the Christian Coalition of Countries and the Greenland Republic have held each other in high regard. This friendship has seen each alliance through blessing as well as difficult times. Now, we are pleased to announce that this friendship is finally cemented in a Mutual Defense Pact between the two alliances. Such an arrangement couldn't have happened to two better groups!

    Glacial Revival Pact

    A Mutual Defense Pact Between the Greenland Republic and the Christian Coalition of Countries.

    PREAMBLE

    Preamble:

    This pact will publicly and formally declare the signatories agreement to defend themselves against external armed attacks. Giving knowledge to any potential aggressor that attacks would be met with firm resistance and neither alliance stands alone.

    Article I:

    The two signatories are obligated to desist from any act of violence, aggressive action, and/or any attack on each other individually or jointly with other powers.

    Article II:

    The two signatories involved, when felt necessary, will remain in open discussion between one another when an outside threat is known to potentially harm the other. Both signatories will stand by one another to deter armed attacks. Both signatories agree to give the other signatory information regarding assaults on themselves or their nations.

    Article III:

    Any direct attack on either signatory should be seen as an attack on both, and thus initiating the mobilization of both signatories' armed forces (this includes espionage and rogue attacks). Both signatories are obliged to provide military and financial aid to the other if requested.

    The respective parities are not obliged to offer assistance should either signatory alliance become involved in a conflict via other treaties with other alliances or blocs. Either signatory alliance may offer assistance in such an event but any assistance would be voluntary.

    Article IV:

    This pact is considered null and void if it forces the participants into a situation that requires them to defend an ideology tht is contrary to the ideology of the participating alliance.

    Article V:

    This treaty requires a 48 hour advance notice to cancel, during which time both signatories are still bound to the terms of this agreement. This advance notice is to be given privately to the signatory being canceled on.
