    Treaty of Amity between the Communist Party of Cybernations (CPCN) and The Foreign Division (TFD)

    The Parties to this Treaty, who are close neighbors and friends, reaffirm their faith in the purposes and principles of freedom, justice and sovereignty and their desire to live in peace with all Nations and all Alliances. Hence they solemnly agree to enter into this Treaty of Amity:

    Article 1

    CPCN and TFD shall endeavor to develop and strengthen long-term stability, future orientation, friendship and good neighborliness which bind them together and shall fulfil in good faith the obligations assumed under this Treaty. The Parties will contribute toward the further development of peaceful and friendly global relations.

    Article 2

    The two Alliances shall have the determination and good faith to prevent disputes from arising. In case disputes on matters directly affecting them should arise, especially disputes likely to disturb peace and harmony, they shall refrain from the threat or use of force and shall at all times settle such disputes among themselves through friendly negotiations.

    Article 3

    The two Alliances will consult together whenever, in the opinion of any of them, the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the Parties is threatened.

    Article 4

    a. The two Alliances agree that an aggressive attack (i.e. armed attack or a confirmed espionage operation) against either of the parties is a violation against International Law.

    b. If such an attack against one of them occurs, the other is encouraged but not legally obliged to assist by any means deemed necessary.

    Article 5

    A Party to this treaty undertaking first strike attacks on other Alliances or nations does so without the implication to the other signatory. In the event that either of the Parties pursues an offensive war, the other Party is not obligated to participate.

    Article 6

    If a member of either TFD or CPCN inflicts damage on a member of the other Alliance by violating Article 2 of this treaty, the member’s Alliance must promptly take disciplinary action which may result in the member’s expulsion.

    Article 7

    This treaty may be revoked by the government of either Alliance in the event of fundamentally changed circumstances that were never contemplated by the Parties. Notification of revocation must be given to the other Signatory within seventy-two hours. Should this treaty be revoked by either Party, a seventy-two hour grace period begins in which neither Party may violate this treaty.

    Article 8

    This Treaty shall be signed by the General Assembly of CPCN and the Senate of TFD. It shall be ratified and its provisions carried out by the Parties in accordance with their respective constitutional procedures.

    Article 9

    This Treaty shall enter into force when the conditions of Article 8 have been fulfilled and as soon as it has been posted by a leader of either of the Parties on the CN open world forum.

    IN FAITH THEREOF Parties have signed the Treaty and have hereto affixed their Seals.
