Haha, I bet if I was to read it then their may be similarities. However I did simply write what I believe to be true. In all fairness I should mention about some alliances jumping on the band wagon - the sides were already uneven at this point and the alliances who have real business here had already made their intentions clear. I'm surprised to see treaties actually carried through though.

This escalated from smaller items. From what I can tell, I believe a smaller issue occurred and the bigger alliances involved declared war. Now nobody usually cares if this happens tbh and people like wars when they get bored and things get stagnated. Unfortunately when everybody is allied with everybody when one big nation gets pulled in on one side (since they had to due to treaties) then many more get pulled in. The chain effect of treaty after treaty means that some nations are obliged to join in (on both sides). Their is also the issue of some alliances just jumping on the band wagon too.

With steel being an extra addon that means we only have 10 resources. I'd recommend Lumber as recommended and possibly Aluminium (with wheat and water this would give us beer - +2 happiness). That would be great. If that failed then marble would give us -10% on infra cost. Thanks baby ;P.
