I saw the DoW thread. Page after page of what amounted to childish name calling and no u-ing... not as bad as here, but still, I don't recall many of the other alliances on your side making such a big fuss about things.

Sadly this n00b is not familiar with all the drama that surrounds Mr. Howard. That said one of my closer contacts told me about Article 11teen (a) of the Most Sekret Annex of the Appendix of the WUT Treaty. It was written in Samskrit but purdy much said, in the case of WUT Civil War each and all treaty signatories would be honor bound to hold 10 percentum of all nuclear weapons back for a joint strike against Atlantis. Is someone puller muh leg or is this true?

If by "identical" you mean "quite rude" and "about an issue that had been resolved over private channels days earlier", than yes, this announcement is indeed identical.

The NPO has done more for the Legion than anyone else. The viceroyship saved the alliance. But that point is obviously lost on you, so I'll leave you with this:
The NPO did less harm to the Legion when they were her allies than GATO did to her when they were her allies. It is clear now where the Legion's allegiance should be.
