Valhalla Announcement.
War is a dirty business. Valhalla sees a lot of war. As such SOAP is highly valued in the shower at the end of a long hard day. As such if anyone should try and put their hands on our SOAP they will lose them.
Valhalla-SOAP Protectorate
Preamble
In the interest of friendship, protection, and guidance Valhalla and SOAP agree to the following protectorate agreement.
Article I: Sovereignty
Valhalla and SOAP recognize each other as sovereign and separate alliances.
Article II: Peace and Respect
Valhalla and SOAP will coexist in a state of peace. Neither alliance will attack the other militarily or verbally. Both alliances will remain respectful towards each other at all times and any differences will be handled via private discussion.
Article III: Protection and Defense
An attack on SOAP will be considered an attack on Valhalla, and will be met with all available strength in defense. If the attack is found to be provoked by SOAP thru political faux paxs, insults, flaming, trolling, spying or just general asshattery etc, Valhalla although still reserving the right to defend SOAP is under no obligation to. Should Valhalla find itself engaged in war, SOAP has the right, but not the obligation, to assist in any way possible, including but not limited to financial and military support.
Article IV: Aggression and Treaty Signing
SOAP agrees to alert Valhalla if they have decided to go on the offensive towards another alliance at least 48 hours before doing so. SOAP will never declare war on another alliance without first discussing it with Valhalla leadership. SOAP will discuss and get permission from Valhalla before signing any treaty with another alliance, any failure to do so can be used as ground to terminate this protectorate.
Article V: Merging and Disbandment
In the sad event that SOAP decides it can no longer function as an alliance, SOAP agrees to contact Valhalla leadership. If possible disbandment is an option, SOAP agrees to contact Valhalla within 24 hours to discuss other options. SOAP also agrees that if they have decided they can no longer exist as a sovereign alliance, they will merge into Valhalla and will be welcomed as members. Valhalla agrees to do everything they can to help SOAP avoid such a fate.
Article VI: Cancellation
Both parties agree to give each other 48 hour notice before canceling this treaty, during which all articles will be upheld.
Any acts of asshattery can result in this treaty to be canceled immediatly upon notification.
Article VII: Timeline
Upon ratification by their respective alliance’s legislative process this treaty is enacted for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days, at which time it shall be subject to renewal or possible upgrade, or until it is terminated by either signatory. Should either party decide it is not in their interests to retain this treaty, it may at any time by canceled as per Article VII. Violations of this agreement are grounds for dissolution of this agreement without prior notice.
Article VIII- Senate
SOAP agrees to have its membership vote for Valhalla's candidate for senate upon each reset. Valhalla agrees to listen to any senate needs SOAP may need and act in SOAP and Valhalla's best issue in the matter.

No we prefer to offer advice to PoWs. That tends to be more valuable long term.

Those surrendering to Valhalla will be able to make use of our private PoW areas to stay in touch and communicate with each other, as well as to request assistance should someone attack you while while a PoW.

Dear noWedge, some truths...
* I did not accept Swampy into the GPA, but actually kicked him once recognized he was there.
* As the post say, I know of my missfailings during summer and autumn I'm sorry for it. Heck, there were times I even enjoyed logging in for example to flame Valid everyday.. It was so wrong.
* I was not kicked out of the GPA, but resigned out of own accord. Because at that time I thought that sacrifice would save the GPA a war...

So fuzzycat, who accepted Swampy into GPA, flamed and trolled through their time in the GPA, managed to get kicked out of the GPA (these days quite some achievement) and who is currently being ZIed is trying to make a neutral alliance.

i think what he meant was not that we will accept fugitives or run aways, we will accept any one being in gpa after we talk to the contiuum and her allies, to make sure its alright to do so, we do now that its a risk, but most people in the gpa are good people, they have just been lead astray.
let me repeat if anyone from the gpa apllies we will talk to the contiuum and her allies before any acceptence will be given, if you are to be found out to be a runaway and a fugative, we will leave you to the wolves.

There are no surrender terms. Who exactly do you think you are to be posting such a thing? I can guarantee this announcement will at the very least mean we prevent anyone from joining your alliance. You should hope nobody takes further offense.

I voted for GPA vs Valhalla and TOP because I think that those two alliances are nothing but coattail riders who wouldn't have had the guts to make a declaration against GPA alone. I hope that the hippies give them trouble and do loads of damage to them although I doubt they will due to the sheer mass of nations from NPO and IRON, and the fact that Polar is providing quite a bit of logistical support. Ah well, I hope someday we get to fight them and then they will learn how pitiful they really are.
I will still support NPO and IRON against GPA. o/

I'm making SPQR look bad by trying to get some clarification about things that are KNOWN to happen? I personally will leave it up to ShasO as to wether or not he wants to say anything. . .but I want to try making clarifications on my own.

No you're making yourself look bad because he has openly and publicly admitted it and STILL you're trying to argue if it's real. It's the most ridiculous thing I've seen in a long time and makes people question the intelligence of an alliance who ignores everyone else in CN telling you it's true and he admits it. I looked at the screenshots. . .but, I'm not a computer geek. So, I wouldnt be able to automatically identify by sight alone as to wether there have been alterations made. Also, how does providing timestamps IN THE TEXT VERSION any proof of validity? What stops people from simply altering that to conform with altered screenshots?
Perhaps this is just my ignorance of computer graphics showing. . .but something just seems off. . .I dont think ShasO would have made statements like that without some sort of actual provocation, etc. .. or something.
He's already repeatedly admitted saying those things. Why is this so hard for you to grasp? There is no question of doubt and you are just making people look poorly on your alliance.

Also, the screenshots themselves dont indicate timestamping. . .and the typed words can simply be edited, I think. . .
Also, he does somewhat have a point. True, it would be over the line to break forum rules. . .or etc. . .but he and GPA HAVE been threatened. They ARE getting the hell beat out of them because they havent been acting the way everyone wants them to act. . .so they would be a little testy, correct? Wow its been over 8 hours and TPF hasnt surrendered yet unlike in the unjust war where you surrendered quite quickly and shamefully. Talk big with a power block behind you.....not so tough apparently when the block is facing you tho.
Having people you actually like on your side helps too.

After selling Guerrilla Camps, following a war, my nations Avg. Gross Income Per Individual Per Day has not returned to normal. It has remained at about half the level it was before they were sold ($245.46). I have lost a trade although it's clear that it would not account for ~200 loss.
