    Hey Val - long time old friend.

    I'm sure that the two of you must have had a misunderstanding on the issue. I say this as a friend to both of you. I can guarantee you Prob is a person of outstanding character and would never intentionally screw anybody over in terms of anything, yet alone a tech deal. I trust him greatly and I'd put my reputation on the line for him anytime. He'll be a fantastic MoE for us.

    I know you to be a person of great character in your tech dealing as well (You were one of my stable tech-sellers back in the day after all :P), so I'm sure it was nothing more than a miscommunication. If you still have an issue with whatever happened, you are welcome to come over to the GPA forums, and we'll try and discover what went wrong and mend any error if it exists.

    This incident happened some time ago but this is not one I will forget. It's not about the money. It's about the threats he made when I stated my case. Respect is earned. Sorry Fu, he does not and will not have mine.

    Come visit us sometime. We don't bite (hard).

    PS: I don't even know where the GPA forums are anymore. The last time I tried my account didn't work.

    Yawn. We have answered this many times in several threads. How many times are you going to ask the same question after it's been answered.

    If you do not like our CB, fine. File a complaint with Reyne.

    Hey Vox,

    What's up with all this use of the word "we" in your posts in this thread? I thought there was nothing centralized about Vox. If so, then stop using "we" when referring to your alliance.

    Very respectable alliance. One of your members initiates nuclear warfare on the first attack on HoG when there is only one nuclear nation in that alliance. I applaud you.

    Wait! We must have mixed your alliance up with Vox. I can't imagine how that could have happened.

    New subject: This thread has been the most entertaining reading on OWF in a long time IMHO. Please keep it coming.

    In view of acts of aggression committed by members of the Vox Populi against members of the Old Guard and its allies, the Triumvirate of the Old Guard, on this, the evening of the 15th day of August 2008, must inform the leadership of the Vox Populi that a state of war now exists between our alliances.

    Two separate issues caused the current state of affairs. In the end, the lack of diplomacy and tact by Vox made this action necessary.

    The general lack of comprehension of this declaration amazes me.

    Quite the non-response. But in between your belittlement, sarcasm, laziness and some sort of "I don't care about you" ad hominem, my point was still made, and you apparently get it.

    So we're good.

    A troll is a troll and you, sir, are a troll. You are not a credit to your alliance as are other NpOers who have posted in these forums today. Your intentions are very clear and they are not positive nor constructive. So I will save you some time. It won't work.

    So it is banking and you're just upset that the leaders are also doing it.

    Leaders are never banks. I disagree that we see it happen among respectable alliances. You sig says your ex-NPO so you probably already know this.

    I find it quite amusing how some people here are criticizing our strategy. You don't see us comment on yours, so keep it to yourself. ;)

    Also for those that say "come out of peace mode so I can have a target", remember... we are not in this war to please you (the enemy). If us being in peace mode gives the enemy a nervous breakdown, then so be it... as High Chancellor PWK mentioned earlier, consider it our psychological warfare. :awesome:

    Yes, I question your strategy. You gained respect points for the declaration. But you lose more respect points than you gained by going into hippy mode and not leading the troops. Plus your alliance gets destroyed. The net result is severe fail.

    What do you mean/how so?

    It's hiding. It's not being willing to take the heat while the rest of the alliance gets pounded. Seriously, after this is over there won't be anything left except the nations in Peace mode. So, I will say it again, that's not banking. Instead, peace mode a larger number of average size nations and lead your troops. Call it what you like but but it's still hiding.

    My experience in the CN alliance network is that respectable alliance leadership would lead their troops into battle. Size doesn't matter. You don't do this and expect others to respect you afterward. If I were part of an alliance where the leadership ordered me to my death while they hide in peace mode, I would resign from the alliance on simple principle.
