I'd like to thank you for the recognition, but I cannot take credit for it. Without the support and willingness to talk from all parties, it never could have happened, and I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by honourable foes and friends to make something like that happen. That's real.

[Orion/Invicta/NX Joint Announcement]

Greetings Citizens of Planet Bob,

After a long and bloody week of gladiator battles.. I am pleased to be able to announce a bright spot in these dark times. After much negotiation, the forces of Invicta and Nebula-X have surrendered to the collective forces of Orion and the Karma Coalition.

In exchange for their surrender, Invicta and Nebula-X will receive white peace.

In addition to this, Invicta and Nebula-X agree not to re-enter this conflict again via financial aid and/or military means.

Furthermore, Orion agrees to withdraw from its war against the NPO, and agrees not to re-enter this conflict again via financial aid and/or military means.

This past week has been one of the best in my history in CN. Invicta has proved nothing but to be honourable warriors, both on and off the battlefield. We had a lot of good banter, a lot of fair and competitive fights, and I am happy to call them friends today. I wish them the best in their rebuilding process and hope to one day see them on the battlefield again.

[A Joint Announcement from CMEA and ISSF.]

Planet Bob,

It comes with great pleasure and excitement that today I am able to announce to you all the birth of a new alliance. Becoming great friends over the past few months, CMEA and ISSF have decided to combine our efforts towards a common goal and continue in our path of prosperity and growth together.

To our brothers in LEO, you have given us undying support all during our development process and I am forever indebted to you for that. We will stand with you to the end.

To our close friends in OUT, I thank you for suggestions and concerns. Orange really IS the closest sphere on Bob. /o Orange WIN.

To our allies, I'm sorry to have kept you in the dark but it was a delicate situation and we didn't want to be sidetracked. All previous treaties held by ISSF and CMEA are hence forth dissolved due to the disbandment of both alliances. Please come visit us at our new forums here or swing by #orion on irc.coldfront.net if you are interested in working out something new with us.

During this period of time as people transfer Alliances Affiliations in game, any nation flying an ISSF or CMEA affiliation is under our protection for the next month. Any attempt to attack them will be deemed an attack on us and will be dealt with accordingly.

The Official Charter of Orion:

Preamble:

We, the members of Orion, unite in the spirit of love, honor and justice to draft this Charter of Orion. This document entails all our values and therefore it will influence our policies. We, the members of Orion, display our values and will uphold those values, contained in this document, to the utmost.

Article I: Government Structure

The following is the current structure of the government of the Orion. This government may be subject to change at the discretion of the Chancellors. Orion has a higher level government consisting of two Chancellors and the Imperial Senate. The complete government consists of the higher government and the Imperial Deputies.

Chancellors

The Chancellors hold ultimate discretion over Orion. They are the key element in the higher level government. All matters are subject to this seat of power. Any decisions made by any member of government may be over-turned by the Chancellors.

If the absence of either of the Chancellors is extended beyond reasonable time-frames, the active Chancellor may directly appoint a new Chancellor to serve with him. If in the case both Chancellors are absent, the Imperial Senate and Imperial Deputies may remove an absent Chancellor from the position by a ¾ vote of all Imperial Senate and Imperial Deputies. They must then vote to select a new Chancellor.

Imperial Senate

Imperial Ministers compose the Imperial Senate and are appointed by the Chancellors. They are also members of the higher government. Their duties vary and are assigned by the Chancellors. Imperial Ministers are not elected officials, they are hand chosen, and as such can not be voted out of power. Demotions are solely the discretion of the Chancellors. For any decisions affecting the alliance as a whole, two ministers may make decisions if the matter is pressing and cannot wait 12 hours.

Imperial Deputies

Imperial Deputies are appointees of the Imperial Ministers and members of the complete government. Their duty is to assist the Imperial Ministers in the duties that have been appointed to them. Imperial Deputies are not an election-based seat. Imperial Deputies will be members hand chosen from the active membership. Members in good standing and active in the forums may nominate themselves for a position, but as such are still hand selected by Ministers or above.

Article II: Alliance Acceptance

Admission:

Any nation who, meeting all requirements that are mandated by Orion at registration may apply to become a member of Orion. Any nation seeking to apply for membership must present themselves at the Orion offices ( http://lolrion.com/forums/index.php?showforum=2 ). Imperial Ministers or any other designated official has right to turn down any applicant due to just cause. This information must be presented correctly and accurately in the application:

If the information given during application is proved to be false during any time of membership, membership may be terminated at the discretion of an Imperial Minister or above.

Upon acceptance of membership, you will be given a member ID. This ID number is to be displayed in your nation's bio. Upon acceptance, a nation agrees to the following:

* Team color MUST be changed to orange. Exceptions may be made, but this is not guaranteed.

* Alliance Affiliation must be changed to “Orion”.

* Accepted members will agree to abide by the policy of the Orion government, and agrees that failure to do so will result in punishment.

Article III: Chartered Policies

War Policy:

Orion will attempt to maintain a peaceful international front and will not seek war intentionally. Members may not declare war offensively without first seeking permission from the Chancellors or the Imperial Ministers. Any member of Orion who does not seek authorization for an offensive war will be subject to punishment. Tech raids against nations on the orange or red teams are strictly forbidden.

Spying on Orion will be considered an act of war. Using spies to destroy nukes are considered a nuclear offensive and will be responded to as such with equally due force.

For an alliance-wide war, approval must be given by the Chancellors.

Article IV: Ratifications

Charter Changes

The charter is written by the government and any member of government can submit changes which then need approval by the majority of the government. The Chancellors can use their veto to approve or deny changes immediately without an approval process. Members' silence gives consent to any changes made to the charter. Changes to the charter will come in act 48 hours after publishing it to the official forum.

Article V: Conclusion

[An Announcement from the ISSF]

hello pals.

This has been a long time coming. I'd like to truly thank everyone in the past 6 months that has helped us along the way. Without your insightful advice, loyal friendship, and large wallets none of this would have been possible. The credit for our success goes to you people out there who have selflessly helped a newb like me, answered my dumb questions and had the patience to remain pals.

I'd like to thank the academy... etc etc. None of this would've been possible without all my fans.. oh yeah, and props to God.

[FOK / ISSF Announcement - Protectorate --> MDoAP]

Ah.. It seems like just yesterday that ISSF was just starting.. and I never thought the day would come that we could stand on our own two feet.. But, because of all the great support FOK has given us over the past 5 months, we've been able to flourish and I am happy now to finally be able to come out from under mama FOK's wing, and stand beside them. Without you guys, none of this would of been possible, so I just wanted to say a gigantic thank you to FOK for their support and continued grace with us.

[An exercise in futility.]

In times like these, the ISSF prides itself on its commitments to its friends. This includes the close friendship we have with our protectors, FOK! As such, when the chance arose for us to help them in battle, we were happy to oblige.
