    Why do you play CN?

    First, I played because my friends kinda needed me helping run the alliance. Then we merged.

    Then, I played because I wanted personal power. I was phenomenally successful but got bored.

    Then, I played to not lose touch with the community. I slowly did anyway.

    Then, I played for the good of my alliance. I was driven to failure by the foolish on the outside.

    Now, I'm leaving. I've gained all I possibly could from CN.

    The Regent stood at the high point of the Ginsei vantage tower, receiving a fresh broadcast from the World Reports division regarding the war. A piece of information caught his attention.

    "General, is this the same nation which claims to have taken over part of the moon?"

    General Shousei Sakaguchi stood up and stretched. He had been off-duty for too long; the war with nearby Family Jewles had not even required his attention.

    "Yes, that is the same Deutschland. Why, do you propose we take action alongside, or against them?"

    The Regent smiled. "Let's leave it up to Victor. He can take the Homunculi to war if he so desires." He gestured to a woman wearing a captain's insignia on her jacket, who typed out a message on a small tablet computer. "The Ceremony approaches, and we have not fulfilled our quota. Besides, the Homunculi are hungry by now."

    Several hours later, what appeared to be a plume of debris lifted off the surface of the moon, headed towards the Earth. Victor had given his answer. Kazuki Mutou sighed and began slowly walking back to Ginsei City. The upcoming events would be out of his control.

    Good luck anyway, and even better luck avoiding the "Doitzel curse" that afflicts all leaving CN players. :P

    If you did, please don't fling rotten produce at me or add me to your enemy list. Also, if you play 2-player freestyle games, that's quite likely.

    I dont want it to just stop for me I want it to stop for everyone. All it does is destroy nations and alliances. People stop playing after there nation gets blow apart and alliances disband after 75% of there members on anachyed.

    This is, easily, the CN leaving thread I feel most deeply.

    It seems like yesterday we were random marooners, spamming and trying to make Smith bend to our will. Over the years I've come to consider you a close friend, and I am very saddened by your leaving. You have been a good source of advice, information, and friendly chat throughout my time here, and I cannot imagine my career sans Zessa.

    You were the best of us.

    Zessa has gone to has grace, and that leaves so much less of ours.

    I'm going to miss you, man. If I ever remember to put MSN on my new computer I'll bug you once in a while.
