  1. Obviously sad to see this. RL gets all of us eventually.

Thanks for all of the memories, you were one of the games better players and an upstanding guy on top of it all.

Don't let RL bury you too deep, and do try to drop in once in a while. <_<

    Take Care.

  2. As a former Legionnaire, it really makes me sad to see this. Not sad because either alliance blatantly broke the spirit of Orrple. Not because either alliance has become undesirable, but because this historic treaty must now die such a quiet death. Change must happen over time, and indeed, both Legion and ODN have changed greatly since this document was signed years ago. Sadly, we did not grow together, but rather drifted apart. This sad announcement comes as the result of many rather undramatic events over the past year, and its likely in the best interest of each alliance as we can each move on our own separate ways.

From the bottom of my heart: Godspeed Legion.

  3. Voted no. Planet Bob lives and dies on drama, action, and conflict. Why do you think the nation totals have fallen ~25% since TI won GWIII? We'd see a similar effect if NPO ceased to exist, or rather, ceased to be relevant. They are such an outstanding bad guy, Planet Bob needs them to be present and relevant. Now, if the question was "is it high time they got taken down a peg" then my answer would be a bit different. ;)

  4. Don't try to dress me down boys, you kissing up to the NPO, just having a treaty with them, sullies his name. After all the time you've had to reject your NPO treaty, saying you had to honor your word doesn't wash. You have failed him.

I don't agree with Legion's decision to keep the NPO treaty, and I think they're loyalty to Pacifica is greatly misplaced, however, the fact remains that they have a treaty with the NPO, NPO was attacked, and now Legion has honored that treaty and entered a war they will probably lose. While I am of the opinion that their current policy regarding Pacifica is misguided to say the least, they still honored a treaty when many others were falling all over themselves to cancel. I will not troll someone who stood by an ally, regardless of what I think of said ally.

  5. Why do I always learn something new when a Atlantis thread pops up?

Anyway, yes, the duel between Atlantis and TPF was probably one of the more intense cat and mouse games in the history of CN, shame that it had to end so abruptly.

    Also:

    VE, Legion, GR
