Well at the very least, it can't be denied that with GATO's two most recent cancellations, it now sits diametrically opposed to Pacifica on the web. I doubt it would take much for this physical opposition to (re)evolve into a cultural one. Meh.

The GATO-NPO PIAT was signed with a mind to finally end the age-old rivalry which had until then run quite deep in both alliances. It was no ordinary treaty, it was a ceasefire. A ceasefire which has now been removed.
