Amid increased public disapproval for troop deployments and with the recent development of an embassy with the capitalistic Mogatopia Government/Corporation, riots have broken out in the capital, مدينة لقنفذ البحر. The Mogatopian embassy, although threatened, is under increased protection by the PRA military, but the PRA Capital Courthouse was set ablaze for a short period of time. The opposition leaders call for recognition of the loss of their brothers in The DNOC as well as to sever ties with Mogatopia.

An emergency Parliament meeting has been called, and there have been reports of at least 22 dead amid shootings in the streets of the capital. The police are currently attempting to regain control of the situation, but National Reservists have been called into the city to protect government building and the embassies.

MoG[Corp]'s diplomatic staff at the embassy are appreciative of your boosted security, and would like to extend our condolences to those killed in the recent violence, MoG[Corp] has the best interests of our citizens at heart, we're quite similar to your government in the fact we want everyone to be working and have a job, when everyone is working, everyone can live a better life together
Private to PRA government: We're monitoring the situation in your nation very closely and have helicopters standing by in case the need to evacuate arises, keep us informed.
A message was released from Parliament:
To address the issues surrounding the current protests. We call on all those protesting to refrain from violence and destruction of property. You do not need destruction to make your voices heard. To opposition leaders, we are determined to establish healthy relations with our neighbors, whether they be capitalists or socialists. If human rights are being abused, then we may step in to support the people. As for The DNOC. We do acknowledge that we feel a great loss and sorrow with the lost of fellow proletariat brothers in the emerging nation. Due to the attacks on the DNOC by the KoC, The People's Republic of Africa hereby announces a trade embargo on the Kingdom of Chunia, until better diplomatic relations can be made.

Private Message to MoG[Corp]: Currently there still is violence on the streets, which we are working to contain. Due to the unrest especially over your embassy, streets leading to Embassy Park have been blocked off. Due to this, much of the violence is very far away from the embassy.
A joint response has been made by the opposition leaders:
While we are glad that you have acknowledged the tragedy in The DNC, we still see no need to continue such high troop deployments, as well as establish ties with a nation run by a corporation. While we, ourselves, do not condone violence, some have gotten out of hand. We believe that this may have been instigated by a third-party, but are unsure. To our brothers protesting on the streets, we urge you to continue to peacefully voice your opinions, but let it be known that we do not condone violence, and as such we shall not support those who wish to turn a peaceful protest into something it is not.
The two squads of guards belonging to the Diplomatic Security Service and protecting the Arctican embassy in the City of the Axolotls switched from more formal uniforms to their full BDU's along with hand grenades and additional ammo on their tool belts.

Reminiscent of the measures taken in Transvaal shortly before its demise, this was done as a security precaution in case the riots spilled over into Embassy Park. The Union had a regulated market system and could reasonably considered capitalistic; this was a risk because the rioters were clearly protesting against a capitalist institution with an embassy only a few doors down.
مدينة لقنفذ البحر - DEVELOPING NEWS - A blast has struck the central city of مدينة العدل's main government building. There has not been any confirmation as to who is responsible for the attack, but the PRA military has instated a nation-wide curfew as well as begun occupying sectors of major cities. Opposition leaders have called a halt to protests amid the violence. All embassies are under increased protection, and therefore should not need to be evacuated, said Minister of Defense, Abdul-Aziz. Abdul-Aziz further said that "Those responsible for this violence shall be found and persecuted."

مدينة لقنفذ البحر - As protests die down in مدينة لقنفذ البحر, violence continues to rage in the central city of مدينة العدل. Our reports tell us that there is small arms fire in the city as well as in parts of the suburbs, as terrorist groups ,from a group that we have heard call themselves حركة (The Movement), engage with police and military forces. 34 members of the حركة were arrested in the capital which, along with increased security precautions, has led to a relatively quite day in the capital city. The military is currently attempting to crack down on the terrorist uprising in the central city of مدينة العدل. Fifteen Soldiers and Seven Police Personnel were wounded in the fighting and 37 insurgents have been killed or wounded so far.

مدينة لقنفذ البحر - Even though there is a delicate peace in the capitol of The People's Republic of Africa, fighting rages on for a second day in the central city of مدينة العدل. Fighting has become more open as more military forces come into the area. 22 PRA Soldiers have been wounded and 2 killed as of yesterday and there were 16 confirmed casualties taken by the insurgent forces. Another factor is the civilian population and collateral damage that the fighting has caused. Many properties have taken small arms fire or even explosives or Molotov Cocktails. There have also been 31 civilians wounded and 13 dead since the fighting started.

مدينة لقنفذ البحر - As armored forces move into the city, a silence has fallen. Whether it be to regroup and collect themselves, or due to losses in today's fighting, the calm is eerie throughout the city. Soldiers have begun setting up checkpoints in the streets and occupying buildings, in case violence flares up again.

To the government of the PRA:

Although it may not be the place of my government to question this, we must ask why armed insurgents have taken to the streets, using guns and bombs to protest troop deployments and a new embassy. If there is some larger underlying conflict developing in your country and threatening its stability, I will need to evacuate my staff and any Arctican nationals currently in the PRA, for their safety.
To the government of Arctica:

We assure you that this insurgency is simply a power grab, rather than a rebellion of any real motives. We predict it will be ended within the next few days. Also as a side note, the protests against troop deployments and embassies was not related to this insurgent force.

We thank the The Communist Republic of The Zoadoe Islands, but given the lighter-than-expected resistance, we wish to return the financial aid, which we deem unnecessary at the time. We feel it would only burden your economy more to accept aid that is unneeded.
مدينة لقنفذ البحر - Patrols have been conducted by PRA military forces today with some results results. Morale among the movement has faltered slightly, but we know, through interrogation, that they are attempting to 'lay low'. Although violence has been at a steady decline, the threat still remains. An address released by the PRA Parliament:
We are pleased to announce that after intensive searching and sweeping throughout the city, we are confident that the insurgent threat has been subdued. We apologize to our ambassadors and their staff for the inconveniences that it caused, and would like to thank those who sacrificed time and effort, and even some who gave the ultimate sacrifice. While we are confident that this insurgency has been cleared, there shall be increased military presences in all cities and border crossings. We do this for the safety of our citizens and to ensure the prosperity of our nation.
