Sir: I know, that is why i will let it slide this time. But you better increase your security measures. I would hate to have to kill such a valuable member to my plans such has yourself.

General taylor: (gulps) thank you sir. So what do you want me to do at this point?

Sir: Nothing yet. Even without Pihana declaring war on the communists the tensions are still high. I have faith its only a matter of patience before war breaks out. Than the operation will begin.

General taylor: You still haven't explained to me what this operation is.

Sir: We will be bringing down the sorry excuse of a government Pihana has.

General taylor: (looks confused)

Sir: (smiles) all in good time.

Sir: Greetings, hows your day been?

Sir: I have a mission for you. I want you to pay General taylor a visit. Hes become to much of a security risk.

Wolf: Eliminate him?

Sir: Yes but he will complete one last task for me. I want you to give him my orders to sabatoge a scout plane being used to watch Pihanas borders. Tell him to place an agent of mine in command of one of the air-craft. He will than fly it deep into communist air space.

Wolf: Isn't that in itself a security risk?

Sir: Normally yes but your going to plant a bomb on the aircraft to destroy it before its captured.

Wolf: Than eliminate Taylor?

Sir: Not right away. After this goes down theres going to be an investigation. After things get stirred up my enemies that are in attempt to locate my orginization will reveal themselves. Then we can deal with them has well. By the way during this operation you will be none has wolf. I also recomend after taylor is killed you mkae yourself scarce. They will be looking for you. Your a great operator and not unlike taylor a security risk. Good luck.

Wolf: Thank you, sir.

Sir: WHAT? when i take pihana i want there to be somthing of it left. Call wolf it looks like taylor is still of more use alive than dead.

Agent: Theres one more thing. CA faked it. All of it. They claimed the attacks from the free australians were funded by Pihana.

Sir: really? Well than looks like the communists wanted war. Dosent make much of a difference to me. Once war begins they we will act fast. No one will know what happend untill its to late. Start with the preperations. The operation will be starting soon.

Agent: SIR! Wolf just called in. Taylors been discoverd. They have him in custody.

Sir: DAMN. Should've killed him when i had the chance. We can't let taylors information get into Pihana hands. Make the neccasary calls. We will kill taylor by any means neccasary. Contact wolf he is to keep tabs on taylors movements. He will most likely be under protected escort to some military base. If he reaches it alive we are doomed.

Agent: Yes sir.

Sir: Anyways we should evacuate this HQ. For all we know we can be compromised already. Enact security 3. Destroy all traces of our pressence here. MOVE.

Sir: This war is ending much faster than planned. We have to act fast. Agent!

Agent: Yes sir?

Sir: Status on the operation.

Agent: Our followers are moving into position. The first regiment is protecting the capital like you predicted. In an hour preperations will be completed and ready for your word.

Sir: Good. And taylor?

Agent: We dont know we lost track of taylor and wolf.

Sir: Dosen't matter. Its to late anyways. Begin phase 1 of the operation.

Agent: Yes sir.

Sir: Begin the final phase.

Agent: Right.

Transmission

"This is UAF 4 moving into position. We have closed in on the target area undetected."

"Recieved UAF 4 begin operation"

"Yes sir"
A sereis of explosions rock a small building 20 miles outside Darwin. This building is housing a UAF agent spying in the PSIS. He has collected valuable data needed for the UAFS operation. They must "recover" him and kill all other guards they find.

PSIS communications

"What the hell was that!?"

"Cameras are back online. We have targets moving in on our position."

"Guards take positions"

The cracking of guns.

"We got to retreat"

"Where? Were surrounded."

A door breaks open and 3 men come running in aiming at the PSIS agents.

"kill them!"

Gun shots come from behind them and they all die

"Were here to bring you out."

"Than lets go."

Less than 5 minuets later the building is cleared out Another few minuets later military services arrive to the building and find it burning to the ground.

PSIS spy: I know where taylor is.

Sir: Where?

PSIS spy: He traveling under a private escort to a small coastal military base. Hes out in the middle of no where.

Sir: And wolf?

PSIS spy: No clue. Sorry sir.

Sir: Not your fault. How many guards are with taylor.

PSIS spy: I believe about 20 give or take.

Sir: Lead an assault team to take taylor out by any means necessary.

PSIS spy: Right.

Somewhere on the Pihana indian ocean coast

Escort: This is the hourly report. We are about 2 hours away from the base.

Base: Heard you. Return to radio silence

5 minuets pass

Jeep 1: Theres somthing up a head hold on for report....

An explosion

Truck 1: Jeep 1 down! Jeep 1 down! Situation report

Jeep 2: Were taking fire stop moving repeat stop moving.

Several Pihana solders come out of trucks and the jeep.

Soldier: Multiple hostiles. taking fire. Contact command.

Escort: Need immediate support we are under fire repeat need support.

Base: You are free to return fire. Troops are en route to your position.

Soldier: Open fire!

Inside truck 2

Taylor: What the hell is going on!?

Soldier: Shut up taylor. You 3 with me. You guard taylor.

3 soldiers climb out of truck

Taylor: We got to get out of here! NOW

Soldier: Shut...
soldier dies
A man in a green out fit with mud on his face comes in.

Man: Taylor

Taylor nods

Man: Come with me were here to rescue you. We dont have time. UAF and Pihana troops are closing in on us. My men will be overwhelmed soon.

Taylor: Dont need to ask me twice.

UAF command

Agent: Our men arrived at the escort to find it already under attack

Sir: By who?

Agent: Not sure yet. But the place has turned into a bloddy mess. And taylor is gone again.

Sir: GREAT! tell our men to pull out. We dont need to spend any extra time there. Continue with the operation.

Man: We have arrived.

Taylor looks around in disgust

Taylor: Prison would of been better

Man: I know. But it was neccasary for us to keep a low profile in the area.

Taylor: Who are you?

Man: That dosent matter now. Get some rest. Ill contact my superiors and get a boat to pick us up.

PSIS transmition

Report: The escort was attacked by an unknown enemy. The rescued taylor and pulled out. Investigations are still under way.

UAF command

Sir: Hows it going?

Agent: good sir. The majority of our operations of been going unnoticed but its going to change soon.

Sir: I know.

Man: Its time to go.

Taylor: Its about time.

Man: The boat is over there. Come on.
Arrive at the boat.

Taylor: Are you sure that thing is going to survive the trip?

Man: Yes. Its old and dosent look like much but shes a good boat. Plus it wont gather to much attention. A rusted up fishing boat in this area arent all to un common. Bad fishing around here.

Taylor: Great. So no fish for dinner?

Man: Just get on the boat.
They climb onto the boat. The motor is turned on and the boat pulls off from the area.

Man: Ill show you to your quarters.

UAF Command
Sir: Report

Agent: Still working on the preperations. no info on taylor.

Sir: Carry on.

PSIS command
PSIS agent: I want to know what the hell happend out there! Where is taylor?

Agent: We dont know yet. Be patient.

Somewhere in Darwin

Wolf: So you boys ready? We have a mission to complete

Ready!

Boat comes up to a dock.

Man: Lets go taylor

Taylor: Yeah yeah.... what the hell?
Taylor looks around and sees the town in ruins with smoke coming up all around.

Taylor: Where are we?

Man: Kimberly.

Taylor: Kimberly? What happend?

Man: Pirate raid.

Taylor: Ok why are we here? To fight pirates?

Man: Ha. No. Were getting a ride from a contact of mine. Keep your head down. We dont want you getting noticed.

Wolf turns away from the binoculars.

Wolf: Alright lets go boys.

UAF command

We located taylor again. Hes in kimberly.

Sir: Kimberly? Send in the psis spy and his team.

Squadron: Were about 5 minuets out from Kimberly.

Man: Pihana troops are moving in onto this position. The pirates can hold em off but not forever. And if either the pirates or Pihana finds you your has good as caught... perhaps even dead. My contact has giving me a rpute threw the local wilderness. But we gotta go now.

Taylor: Ok Ok im going.

Sir: Well with all this recent crap and the threat of a large scale rebellion the operation is a bust. But still some good has come with it.

Agent: And what would that be?

Sir: The elections, with so much bad reputation ontop of fincham itll only take a spark to bring his reelection chances crashing down. And we are going to cause that spark. It will give me the opening i need to win the election.

Agent: Your running? I had no idea.

Sir: Who the hell do you think the anderson party is? Didnt you notice all the entire party is high up UAF contacts.

Agent: Really...

Sir: Who the hell hired you... whatever. Why dont you find taylor or somthing else usefull.

Agent:Yes.... Anderson.

Some where in the disputed territory a 6-7 miles off of kimberly

Taylor: Well that took a while
Man: Yes it did take longer than expected. With the threat of a war in this area the man who sent me for you couldnt come. So it looks like we have to go to him.
Taylor: Where is he?
Man: The less you know the better. The UAF and Pihana are both looking for you. And those sorry excuses of rebels will probably kill you if they find you.
Taylor: Yeah yeah so how we going to get wherever were going without being caught?
Man: The plan is to stay in disputed territory for has long has possible. Pihana wont be able to come in here without a rebel army ontop of em and the UAF trackers will have a tough enough time chasing after us having to watch there back threw this area. Both Pihana and the rebels could confuse them with each other.
Taylor: Makes sense i suppose. So we going to be hiking there?
Man: Safest way. Going by boat or a car is to dangerous. We will be shot at by both sides. Once we get out of disputed territory we can get a ride.
Taylor: Alright lets go.

Agent: Sir! Sir! Pihana has fallen.
Sir: Really? this better not be a joke.
Agent: Its not the government has callopsed, the military is in chaos and whats left of the military is fighting the independent australia forces.
Sir: Then its time. How many troops can we get into Darwin within the day?
Agent: Atleast 2000. And by the week our full force.
Sir: Right get on it. Move!
Agent: USC forces are also on the move into pihana.
Sir: Damn. We got to move fast. Send out recruiters across the nation and get volunters to join in with us.
Agent: Yes, sir.
Sir: I will lead my personal army into Darwin. We should expect minimal resistance.
Agent: I will contact forces inside Darwin to remove any remaining military. And capture the former governemnt.
Sir: Right. Lets move

Anderson (sir) and his army of 500 followers began there movement into darwin. It would take an estimated 2 hours to arrive outside of Darwin where they will move in by foot.

Director of defense: I demand you release us immediatly. This is TREASON! We are your governemnt and we are ordering you to stand down.

UAF soldier: Ha your not our governemnt anymore.

Defense: Any minute now the army is gonna come kicking in the door and your all going to pay for this.

Uaf soldier: Your army is gone. And whats left is either dead or a pow to independent australia.

Defense: Lies!

UAF soldier: You dont have to believe me. Its your choice.

UAF commander: Where is Fincham?!

UAF soldier: Hes not here. Remember he went to that event in the USC

UAF commander: Damn! Anderson isnt going to like that.

A mile outside Darwin.

Anderson: Allright troops lets move. Its time to move in by foot to the capital. Do not fire unless fired upon.

[b]West of Darwin, Northern Australia[/b]

Naval Task Force [i]Nightwatch[/i], which had been assigned to watch over the deteriorating situation in the CRZI, had steamed west as soon as things had begun to crumble in Pihana. The naval task force was a strong one, comprising an aircraft carrier, a helicopter amphibious assault ship, two destroyers, two frigates, one littoral combat ship, two amphibious assault ships and the remaining undamaged Joint Support Ship of the SCNDF. On-board the amphibious assault ships, the 2nd Marine Regimental Combat Team (RCT), comprising a full two thousand combat-effective soldiers were ready to begin operations. Although the government of Pihana had fallen, the units of the 2nd Marine RCT had orders to secure Darwin and ensure its stability for further reinforcements. Also on board the ships were elements of I. Battalion/2nd Commando Regiment, which would fly in after the Marines had landed.

As soon as the Task Force was in range of Darwin, helicopters from the amphibious support vessels began taking off quickly, and began flying hard into the west. A total of fifty SH-60 Seahawk Medium Utility Helicopters, and twelve SH-53 Super Sea Stallions lifted into the air, and flew west, supported by fighter strike aircraft from the aircraft SCS [i]Indefatigable[/i]. A squadron of F-35C Lightning II, and a squadron of Rafale "P" fighters. These fighters were backed up by a squadron of F-15 Silent Eagle fighter-bombers out of Norman, with AWACS support flying near the naval task force, along with refueling aircraft, all ready to provide support. Another two battalions of airborne troopers from the 1st Parachute Regiment, also at Darwin, was ready to be airlifted/airdropped in as soon as a semi-secure landing zone or runway had been taken.

In tactical command of the operation, dubbed "Watchtower" was Brigadier General Anthony Watkins, who had led the assault on the Bonin Islands in Japan. Watkins had proven himself as a capable commander in handling a multidimensional then, and was a Marine officer who was a 'soldier's general'. He looked after his men well, and was concerned with their welfare, and like many other Southern Cross commanders, visited his units before combat operations, listening to concerns and trying to work out problems if there seemed to be any pressing ones. Watkins had worked out a cautious but ambitious plan to secure Darwin's port and airport facilities, without unduly startling the citizens of the city or provoking a panic.

Instead of making a direct beeline for the airport, the heliborne assault force made for the land north of Darwin near Lee Point. Once a landing zone was secure, company-sized (250 marines) elements of the Marine battalions would then march south to secure critical objectives. The first objective would be the Royal Darwin Hospital, which would be secured and made safe by at least two platoons of Marines, the Marine forward headquarters would be set up in Lee Point. The next objective would be Darwin International Airport, which would involve the marching of two companies of marines, working their way south in parallel columns. One column would make its way through the suburban streets of Muirhead, Wagaman, and Moil to get to the airport. The other column would swing east, overland over relatively open ground to Holmes, and make its approach through Karama. Another company would be held in reserve as a fast-reaction force, in case either column met severe resistance.

The helicopters would make their final approach on Lee Point shortly before the UAF forces began their final move into Darwin on foot...

The first of andersons troops entered darwin quickly over powering anyone who stood in there way. The troops would head for the capital building and fortify there way out has uaf men and supplies arrived.

The first waves of helicopters quickly landed in the fields around Lee Point, a total of sixty-two helicopters altogether landed on the site. Disgorging their load, eight hundred and fifty men were on the ground within the first five minutes. One company set up a quick defensive perimeter at the landing zone, while the one other company quickly moved to secure the Royal Darwin Hospital a little farther to the south. The other two-hundred and fifty man company quickly swung eastwards towards Holmes and provided a screening force, and waited for reinforcements before pushing on to the airport. The troops moved quickly on foot in the morning light, all were fully armed and combat ready, their weapons cleared for action.

A second wave would follow within the next hour or so, until that time, the men were on their own. Strike fighters streaked overhead, and AWACS aircraft began relaying that there was the possibility of armed fighters in the vicinity following reports of lots of ground movement to the south. Satellite surveillance back in the Southern Cross began re-angling their cameras for the next pass on Darwin, to locate and get a better visual of this possible threat. Reconnaissance patrols also moved quickly to get on the ground visuals of these possible threats, and sniper teams had been ordered out to also keep tabs on these forces, the Southern Cross marines were not about to be caught unawares.

A Super Sea Stallion, hovered with three other SH-60 Medium Utility Helicopters, providing overwatch of the landing zone, and holding a circular pattern over the area. The co-pilot was adjusting the radio frequency when they began picking up the radio broadcasts, and he adjusted his microphone.

"Sea Eagle Nest, this is Super Sea Eagle 1-1, we're picking up some radio broadcasts you might want to hear, I'm sending you relevant data now," nodded the co-pilot.

There was quiet over the channel, before a response, "Thanks for the tipoff, Super Sea Eagle 1-1."

"What are they saying?" asked the crew chief of the helicopter, leaning into the armored cockpit.

"Apparently, we brainwash people and will kill people for our own benefit," responded the co-pilot, with a chuckle.

"Gotta love the misguided propaganda, the only reason we'll end up killing someone is because they're listening to whoever these meatheads are that are broadcasting this load of bull," remarked the crew chief, shaking his head.

[b]Combat Information Center - SCS [i]Storm[/i][/b]

"We're getting signals from some sort of rebel outfit that is trying to entice civilians to take up arms against us," remarked a communications officer, listening to the full broadcast, and turning to Brigadier General Watkins.

"And this broadcast is only local?" asked Watkins, folding his arms slowly.

"Yes sir, these signals are coming from a local broadcasting station, we're triangulating that signal now," responded the communications officer, with a nod.

"Patch me through to the CAG on the [i]Indefatigable[/i]," ordered Watkins, after thinking for a moment. After a few minutes of black-screen, the main vision screen in front of Watkins lit up with the bridge of the aircraft carrier [i]Indefatigable[/i]. In front of it stood a grisly man wearing aviator sunglasses and sporting a forty-eight hours of facial hair growth. His ball cap read "Commander, Air Group - SCS [i]Indefatigable[/i]" over a grey outline of the ship.

"How you doing Tony?" asked the CAG, whose nameplate read 'Giovanni', the rank insignia on his lapel denoting he was a Captain.

"Not too shabby, Carmine, we got some hearts and minds crap going on in Darwin, seems like some local insurrectionists want civilians to take up arms," responded Watkins, grimacing as he spoke.

"Any shots fired yet?" asked the CAG.

"Not yet, but if we're going to be facing paramilitary forces if we don't shut this !@#$ down before it gets going," replied Watkins, with a sigh.

"Sir, we've triangulated the signal location to a radio and tv relay station a little ways east of Darwin," said the communications officer quietly, looking up at Watkins.

"Carmine, I need a favor from your flyboys, we're relaying," he pointed at the communications officer, who nodded, "the coordinates to you now, we need a good clean strike on the radio and tv relay modules at that station."

"I'll get the Air Force boys on it, you owe me one, Tony."

"Don't I always?" responded Watkins, with a chuckle, as the screen went dark.

[b]Over Darwin, Australia[/b]

A pair of F-15 Silent Eagles broke from their squadrons formation, upon the relay of the information by the CAG of the [i]Indefatigable[/i]. After pinpointing the location using GPS satellites, the lead F-15 quickly launched two JDAM-10A 500lb bombs. The GPS-guided munitions adjusted their courses slightly as they sailed through the air, the bombs aimed straight at the relay and receiving towers of the station. They were deliberately aimed away from the station to avoid unnecessary civilian casualties, although they would certainly shake anyone up in the immediate vicinity. The use of the pinpoint munitions was to make a point - that the USC wanted to avoid causing casualties, not make them.

Guard: missiles incoming. They took out the radio transmiting tower. We got to tell uaf command.
Radio man: we got the relay system up. A series of groups will take a short range radio transmission say, a hand held radio and they will forward the Transmission to the next group and continue to its intended target. This system covers the entire city and slightly beyond. What do you want to transmit

Capital building
Uaf commander: anderson has arrived. Begin the fortification of near by streets.
Radio man: receiving a transmission. .. the radio station is down. The troops and civilians there are pulling back to darwin.
Anderson: very well

Anderson: find a way to perform a long range transmission. Its time to announce our control of pihana to the world.
