As long as the imperialists and the bourgeoisie oppress weak nations and defenceless people there will be struggle! As long as the workers and peoples of the world aspire to transform the present society, to transform it to their benefit and as long as, in order to achieve it, they are ready to win or die, there will be struggle! On this day we the people of the Alaskan Socialist Peoples Republic declare our existence to the world. No longer will the capitalists of the Federal Republic suppress the will of people and of socialism. No longer will bourgeoisie oppress the weak of our nation and of the world. The imperialists are now defeated and a new age of glorious socialism emerges. We shall work for the people and by the people and to a new age of peace and harmony. Quote
Perhaps if you would read the official statement from the new ASPR, you would notice that Red Dawn, although happy to see a new socialist nation being created, have nothing to do with this development. We maybe be more than willing to support it, but we are not the cause. As for the citizens rejecting socialism, I see nothing of that in any current successful socialist state. Socialism is actually much better for the citizens than capitalism. Quote
