AlDei Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) As we move forth in progress for a united Africa, Tunisia wishes to forge & solidify its bonds in a new friendship with our brothers & sisters U.F.A. We cordially invite a Free Africa delegation to come & be welcomed to Tunisia to meet with myself, Princess Majida Al-Fayyoumi to discuss & outline a new future in the relationship between our two states, our role in the protection of an emerging Africa, as well as the ascent of Islam to the surface of African affairs. Please consider this invitation with Africa in mind & heart. The documents where prepared & placed on the marble table top before her, as Majida completed her only task; to write the personal invitiation that was to initiate good relations with the African superpower. Tunisia had all but fully embraced Islam & there was growing tension that this would lead the nation to be targeted by any hostile power, or any repression against radical Islam. She considered in her mind all these aspects as pieces of a game, the African theatre being the board in which it is to be played. Africa, Islam. Islam, Africa. When Islam goes to war, Africa goes to war. In nearly all circumstances, these fates are tied. Edited February 28, 2011 by AlDei Quote
Moriarty Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 A delegation of the Caliphate of Africa would set off for Tunisia promptly. Upon nearing the fringes of Tunisian airspace, the delegation's aircraft would await landing instructions. Quote
AlDei Posted March 1, 2011 Author Report Posted March 1, 2011 The delegation was instructed to make their landing unobstructed into the Carthage International Airport. Anxiously Majida paced the corridors of the palace as she awaited the arrival of the delegation. Already reports of war were rampant- reports where constantly being brought to her by palace aids who frantically fumbled between final palace preparations & conflict updates. She had ordered them silent, more to retain what little peace of mind she could than to ease the burden of palace hands. She didn't know what to expect of her first meeting with the heads of a nation; perhaps the foremost African power of all nations at that. They where already on their way & set to arrive any minute. "I'd better get to the conference chambers." she thought to herself, "Allah, please. Please, please guide me. Our world is nearly up in smoke, if it is truly I who am to be your Right Hand, let me know as to how I must do it. And I WILL do it." Quote
Moriarty Posted March 1, 2011 Report Posted March 1, 2011 The delegations where entered the palace by the welcoming of several Tunisian officials. Making their way to the meeting room, the group of 4 would greet the Tunisians, offering trinkets and valuable souvenirs, not to forget wonderful stories from the Caliphate. All where stricken by the natural beauty of the Palestinian Princess who ruled Tunisia. Quote
AlDei Posted March 3, 2011 Author Report Posted March 3, 2011 Princess Majida greeted the delegation kindly, putting the men at ease each with a gentle embrace. "Welcome to my palace. Please, take your seats. I understand there is a war that has bid the Caliphate's participation, somewhat indirectly. We are extremely dismayed by this news." Servants arrived with hot meals & took the delegations orders for drink, soon all sorts of delicacies adorned the table & before long, the men where given their drinks. Majida bowed her head & cupped one hand in the other, "Please, if you might join me in a prayer before we dine." After a short prayer the Princess leads the delegation to dine, taking the first bite as well as the first sip of wine. The meal is enjoyed in relative silence as is usually expected. After dinner, Princess Majida began the first conversation. "It came to me during the meal that I had completely forgotten to welcome you to Tunisia! Forgive me, I hope the scenery & the dinner is sufficient welcome for your delegation. Now, what I wanted to discuss with you; African instability & what we may do, cooperatively to reverse it." Quote

Moriarty Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 ooC: Its fine by me. iC: "Thank you. The meal was very satisfying, not in part due to the fact that we flew on empty stomachs. Tunisia is a beautiful land, blessed with rich a foundation in Islam. What we also see between Tunisia and the Caliphate in the near future is a more unified approach to the issues facing Africa, the foremost being instability, as well as the issues facing Islam, such as pressure and overwhelming bias against our faith." The delegation turned and greeted the Ottoman delegation. "Hello, friends. We did not expect you to attend, but we are extremely glad you are here!" Quote
AlDei Posted March 4, 2011 Author Report Posted March 4, 2011 The Ottoman delegation was brought into the room by Palace guards. The guard captain spoke to Majida, "A thousand apologies, your Highness. These people say they are delegates of the Ottoman Republic, our allies. I do hope it has been no mistake to interrupt." Behind them came another group of diplomats. "This group is a bit more sketchy, they failed to identify themselves, but I assume they are with the Ottomans or somehow have a relation with the African League. If I am wrong, please forgive me. I will have them beaten & jailed for a-" "No, no this is just fine! Thank you Captain, that is all.", Majida interrupted. At her command the guards exited the room & closed the doors. "Well, now that we are all here-Servants! servants could you please prepare a meal for our late guests? Please, sit, sit. You look terrible, what happened to all of you?" Quote
Axolotlia Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 "We thank Your Highness for your hospitality and gesture of kindness. It is such a contrast being here, instead of in The Ottoman Republic." Quote

I have been made aware, & it is with a great amount of sorrow, that both states have been occupied by foreign armies? Thanks be to Allah that at least some Africans where swept from the crossfire by the Caliphate." Majida smiled to the Caliphate of Africa delegation. Quote
Axolotlia Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 While we are very pleased to be here, we are sad to say that things in The Ottoman Republic are very dire. It is in Anarchy, as the government cannot provide basic needs for its citizens, and foreigners killing civilians and Ottoman Republic soldiers throughout the country. Many just don't just know where to go. Quote

It would be ashame to leave absent your young, peaceful Islamic nation & so we ask that you be present in the current discussions. sincerely, Princess Majida Al-Fayyoumi
OOC: come on in Rotevele IC: "The tragedy in the Ottoman Republic is depressing. We should take the opportunity now, not to falter before tragedy, but to unite around it so to speak. We should establish a joint effort that should act in situations such as the mass death & desperation in the Ottoman republic. We should give aid & help rebuild the necessary infustructure to put these people back to work & back to life. This conflict has inderectly been the cause of genocide for thousands of Ottomans are dying needlessly despite the wars end, will we do nothing? Countless of our brothers & sisters lie bloody under the scorching sun. Are we not children of Allah?" Quote
