Fizzydog Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 The Royal Family of the Ottoman Republic has a special announcement. At around 11:20 am this day, the military successfuly tested an underground nuclear bomb. The weapon was a small tactical weapon, but the military and manufacturers such as Tagruato are working together to create larger, more destructive explosions. General Harold Ferdana said today that nuclear weapons will only be used in "the defense of the sovereignity of the Ottoman Republic, and in the protection of citizens." Futhermore, Tagruato created a historic moment for the land of the Ottoman Republic today. Around 10:28 AM, the sattelite "Hatsui" was launched from the a Tagruato launch pad. Hatsui will be used as a communication and TV services satellite that will greatly enhance the life of the republic's citizens. Tagruato said that 2 more satellites are in the making. CLASSIFIED: Hatsui, "Tagruato's" supposed communications satellite, began taking high-definition pictures of St. John's, the Zarmonian Federation and Britain. The pictures would be sent back to the Tagruato made government super computer and be protected underneath a high security system, which includes a dozen different passwords along with voice authorization and fingerprint confirmation. Michael McBride Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 (edited) **CLASSIFIED** Imperial military assets in Long Island tracked the launch of the satellite closely, especially after the recent comments from the Ottomans. Once in space, it was realized that the satellite was not behaving like a normal communications satellite, that is keeping a mostly geosynchronous orbit to provide communications to one general area. Instead, the satellite was seen moving towards the Imperial coast and the Canadian protectorate. Immediately, six F-24 Torrents were launched from Long Island. Two were armed with two ASAT missiles each, the other four were serving as escorts. Traveling just under Mach 1 at a 65 degree angle, the four ASAT missiles launched at 38,000 feet. The two stage missiles would blast through the atmosphere and into space, on course for a direct impact with the satellite to tear it to shreds. In tests, the missiles had worked perfectly. No problems were expected, and with four missiles, the chances the satellite would survive would be practically zero. OOC: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASM-135_ASAT Basically your sat is gone. Fizzydog Posted February 26, 2011 Author Report Posted February 26, 2011 IN LOW ORBIT: The satellite was smacked with four missiles, tearing it to shreds. The remains were nothing but mere particles, which burnt up upon entrance of the atmosphere. Quote
