The first elections of the Union of Free Africa have begun, at long last. Voters all over the Union have begun visiting local voting centers by the hundreds in small towns, the thousands in major cities. Three major political factions have risen to the ballot for the first elections of the State. The socialists of Africa have quietly established an organized front that could possibly take the elections, but political organizing and events of the recent weeks where dominated by activity of two Muslim African parties that have since merged to create one unified organization for the elections. Their support has been boosted by the recent terrorist attacks throughout the region targeting Muslim communities. Finally, the military is on the ballot to maintain control of the nation still in its infancy. A strong central military junta would lead the nation through this turbulent, unstable stage.

Who will guide the hand of the next chapter in African history?

Elections End with the triumph of the Caliph of Africa party. The basic path of the nation is now to be steered heavily by Islam governance, through peaceful means, the spread of islam & the stability of Africa are the main goals stated by the new government. The military has handed all governing power of the nation to the newly elected government & is conducting ceremony pledging their support to it. The nation will be led by a transitional Muslim council government while a stable government is complete with the seating of an Executive & representatives by the community.

"Although Arctica values the separation of church and state, we are glad that the people of the UFA have selected their system of government through democratic process."
