I know you're looking for some sort of 'caustic belly' with proper documentation and all that. You won't find that sort of thing. It's not necessary. The reality is, if you don't want people to shoot you, you have to make them not want to kill you. I know. It's shocking, but it's the truth. Now don't go flapping your arms about how you've been good little boys and girls lately. Nobody cares about your opinion of yourselves. When someone wants to kill you doing nothing doesn't change their minds. They still want you dead. When the opportunity arises they will hurt you. As you might have guessed FAN doesn't like you very much. I doubt that's any kind of surprise. You haven't done anything to change that. Yes, VietFAN was about 2-4 years ago (depending on if you go from the start or the end), but expecting folks to "just get over it" isn't exactly a winning policy. We're not the "just get over it" types. In all those years we haven't heard a peep out of you. Not so much as a Christmas card. For folks that are jabbering on about a lack of politics, that's as lacking as you can get. It turns out we're not alone *shock*. I don't speak for Doomhouse. They were coming to the same party and we decided to carpool is all. It seems though that you thought paying them money was enough. You can't buy good will. It doesn't matter how much money you give someone. If they want to kill you the only way to buy them out is to constantly pay. You might think your payments were huge, but you stopped paying and did nothing to change their perception of you. Really you accomplished nothing but filling their wallets. So whatever you did to piss them off, here's a news flash, they're still pissed. I say all this from experience. We were raging !@#$!@#$ back in the day and we !@#$ on... well... practically everyone. That's not the kind of thing you can just stand up and say, "My bad" and be done with it. We had to work at clearing the bad blood between us and other folks. In the process we made some good friends and with others we at least got it to the point where they didn't have our faces on a dartboard. If you want to come to a political solution, you have to convince people you aren't !@#$!@#$. Just telling them you aren't won't get you off the "list of people to kill". There are a running ton of alliances that have you on that list. So unless you stop with the pseudo-political crap of Imperial Decrees, newsletters and treaties, grow up and start using that energy towards real political change, this kind of thing will just keep happening to you. There's probably nothing you can do now to stop the nukes from falling on your pointed heads, but if you quit acting like total jagoffs about it that will end at some point. Then you can either continue trying to convince yourselves you're king !@#$ of turd hill and get your teeth kicked in a couple times a year or join the rest of the class in reality and have a future. Don't mistake this as empathy. I just don't want to read any more lame 'woe is me' crap from you about how it's everyone else's job but yours to make sure you don't have a target on your head.
