Fizzydog Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) CLASSIFIED: All reserve troops were immediately called to action. They were seperated and immediately placed in the 1st and 2nd Defense divisions and the 3rd Offensive division. All divisions (INCLUDING ARMOR) (aside from the special operations and St. John's Defense Division), were immediately stationed at Eastern Labrador. Around 406,000 troops at the eastern border dug into villages, mountains and cities. The entire navy, aside from the INS Viet and INS Labrdor and the San Antonio Class landing ships, headed towards the Hudson straight to block any Disparunean ships from attacking Labrador. All nuclear missiles and cruise missiles were immediately aimed at Disparu and Garcidia. ___________________________ PUBLIC: Cleo Viet stepped towards a podium, surrounded by was hundreds of Labradorean citizens and the Labradorean government. "Beginning on January 14th, 20XX at 5:30 PM Eastern US Time, Disparu has 24 hours to abandon its protectorates, cancel its treaties and remove its current government. The threat of annihilation by the Federation of Disparu is all too real for Labrador. Labradorean citizens and military MUST stay strong during these hard times. Labrador is facing war up close, and they are bound to touch. Labrador will NOT be oppressed by the evil, destructive nation of Disparu. Those scum constantly threaten our country and do not agree to any treaties we set forward. There is no turning back. All attempts for diplomacy have failed. This is the final solution. If Disparu does not surrender, on the 21st of January Labradorean forces will invade Disparu. Soldiers and government officials will not be spared in this invasion When Labrador succeeded from Disparu, we left the Federation for a reason. We attempted to be friendly with Disparu. But when they blocked our attempts at saving Manitoba and became a danger towards our citizens and military, Labrador had no choice but to watch as their "ally" Ursalia, who just recently had a civil war and Disparu was not there to aid them, stole Manitoba right in front of us and refused to return it. This caused a heavy strain on Labradorean-Disparunean relations. After an attempt to relieve this strain, Disparu would accept none of our agreements but a Non Aggression Pact. We did not accept. Labrador has been mocked and disrespected by nations all over the world. That will end. Our mighty empire will engage in the first, and possible last, war. We are not afraid to show our true power. Any allies of Disparu, the nation who gave the cold shoulder to a friend during a civil war, should reconsider attacking Labrador. Not for their safety, but for the safety of the continent of North America. Labradorean nuclear missiles are armed and prepared to be fired. Nations intervering in this dispute will get attacked. This is a Disparunean-Labradorean fight. If Disparu is as big as it acts, they should be able to defeat our nation easily. The clock is ticking, Disparu, the clock is ticking." As Cleo Viet and the rest of the government left the stage, the citizens slowly left the city square, shocked. OoC: This is my way of getting rid of Labrador. Don't nuke me to oblivion just yet, there's more to come. But for now, enjoy. :V Edited January 14, 2011 by Fizzydog Quote

Markus Wilding Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 ***Classified message to Disparu*** We have reason to believe that Labrador is host to a fugitive evading Portuguese justice. Her name is Lia Armas, and is wanted for various crimes against the state of Portugal. Her last actions before leaving Portugal indicate she bought a plane ticket to St. John's Island. If Labrador is to be invaded by you and your allies, we kindly request she be extradited to Portuguese soil to face justice. Jordosaur94 Posted January 14, 2011 Report Posted January 14, 2011 Word soon reached the Kaiser of Labrador's Ultimatum to Disparu and his reaction was a combination of shock, horror, and anger. After all, Disparu had been the only nation utterly friendly towards the Reich and also sent considerable aid in his fight against Bismark and his supporters, which was still ongoing. So, he sent a secret message to the Disparuean Government:
To: The Government of Disparu From: Kaiser Wilhelm I am utterly outraged by Labrador's insane antics and this Ultimatum has gone too far. We wish to aid you in any way we can if this turns ugly.
Quote

Though we hold no formal treaty with Disparu, any attack on them will be met with swift and severe retribution. Turn back now before it is too late. **CLASSIFIED** Imperial hackers began working quickly in their secret bunker in Langley, Virginia. Their goal was simple: perform a massive brute force attack on the Labradorian intranet through the internet and then, using the opening created from the brute force attack, shut down their ability to launch nuclear weapons by disabling the controls for them. They began working quickly... they knew they didn't have much time. Quote

Not to mention you have made threats of nuclear attack. If Labrador's government expects to make threats of using nuclear weaponry and not expect retaliation from North America and the world at large, then you do not have the qualifications to be running a country in the first place.
