On the parade grounds of Naypyidaw, members of the Tatmadaw, the combined armed forces of Burma, soldiers from all branches march beneath the shadows of a monument celebrating three hailed emperors of the old Burma, before the British Colonial Conquest and subjugation of the glorious people. Today, the Tatmadaw remobilized after a period of stand-by status under the Novaki interim rule. Again, the glorious vanguard of the National Cause marched onward to independence, moving forward in unity to advance the National Cause and displaying historic Burmese flags.

During the intermission of the military parade, Senior General of the Tatmadaw Aung Suh Kong, rode out to greet the cheering masses of the new Burmese capital, relocated from Rangoon for its more centralized location and superior defensive capability. He waved back to them smiling before taking a seat with the rest of the council that headed the military. At this point in time, Senior General Suh Kong had been chosen as the transitional ruler of Burma, with the Tatmadaw at his back, until permanent government could be put in place.

The rest of the commanding officers looked onward to the second half of the parade. This time, tanks, APC's, IFV's, and missile trucks rolled across the parade grounds. At its culmination, Senior General Suh Kong took the podium.

"This nation has always been marked with periods of strife. Many others are marked by foreign domination. Our ancient wars with the Thais, British Colonial rule, and most recently the interim protection of the Novaki government. Novaki rule was not oppressive, but our nation has always moved forward with our National Cause, and any foreign rule, no matter how benevolent it is, is against this Cause. We will move forward from this moment on, in independence, to gain glory and honor for this nation."

Suh Kong paused to allow for cheering, which was burgeoning. After the crowd began to die down enough, he continued.

"From this moment forward, our nation moves together. Previous regimes, such as the Union of the Republic of Myanmar from the 90's and 2000's, oppressed minorities. This is counter to the National Cause. Now, the Bamar, hand in hand with the Shan, Karen, Rahkine, Kayin, Kayah, Mon, Kachin, Chin, and other diasporic groups, will move forward to advance this nation as a whole. After all, Burmese is a nationality, not an ethnic group, despite being descended from the name for the Bamar ethnic group. Like the Chinese and the Americans, multi-ethnic states, we will pursue an independent course to shrug off the destitute forces of imperialism and those who would seek to supplant our national unity. Together, united beyond the invisible barriers of ethnicity, our nation will be stronger and more resilient to the harmful forces of this world. In unity, indivisible, we will march onward to greatness."

"Standing before you is the transitional government of the Burmese Republic, the state that has now been granted its independence from the Novaki government. The Tatmadaw will never betray the National Cause, and with the support of the people, will be its vanguard!"

The crowds roared as General Suh Kong saluted them. A set of five tanks parked on the parade grounds fired blanks to mark the end of the speech. The display was broadcast to the entire world and shortly afterward, the transitional military council returned to the executive building and awaited foreign response to the resurgence of Burma as an independent state.

"Your request has been accepted. Burma will hold a diplomatic meeting with a Cochinese delegation in Mandalay within the Mandalay Palace, the last center of government before British Colonial Rule. We advise the Cochinese government that at this current time per our independence conditions, that we may not at this time pursue treaties with other states until such a time as this condition is lifted, meaning that we cannot enter into formal agreements with your state. However, we feel that it would be in good spirit to hold a diplomatic meeting so as to establish a relationship for future dealings that may come about."
