I will be presenting mine and the Curristan peoples' views to the rest of the world. The situation in Anchorage has gotten worse and worse by the day. It looks like the Prussian Empire has made an error of judgement in its attempt to get the city. A poll that we commissioned has found that ninety per cent of you are against the Prussian Empires' decision. I think that the situation was not helped by the Koreans to be honest. Its not their fight and it should be handled by the Ursalians. Now it could turn into a serious conflict if hot heads prevail and they start shooting at each other. All thanks to some ambitious idiot who thought that he could take on the world." *Laughter* "I just hope that the great powers in America sort this mess out and make sure that the Koreans stay out of American affairs once and for all. Their nose should stay in Asia where it belongs. Anyway thats it for now. Tune in next time where we will broadcast more views here in the Republic of Curristan." VigilantWatcher Posted December 24, 2010 Author Report Posted December 24, 2010 "This is Lazlow on the Voice of Curristan once again. It seems the Koreans are leaving Anchorage. Good riddance i say to them. At least the Ursalians can breathe more easily now those upstarts are no longer in the way. Maybe now the crisis in the region has been averted?" *Sound of ruffling papers* "Also the situation in the Republic of Curristan seems to be normalising. Its damn time our government sorted this country out. I say all the politicans that fail to do their job properly should be sacked. Its bad enough that we had that nutjob William Richards try to take over the country. I can safely say that today is the day that he will finally meet his maker. I hope that idiot fries in hell." *Clapping* "Finally we come to the issue of introducing women into front line combat units. I feel that they should be only allowed to serve in supporting roles. Women have no place in the front line. I will be against the bill which is soon to get aired in the Curristan Senate. Anyway we have run out of time again. Tune in next time where we will broadcast more views here in the Republic of Curristan." *Static* Quote
VigilantWatcher Posted December 26, 2010 Author Report Posted December 26, 2010 "This is Lazlow on the Voice of Curristan once again. The nuclear test that occured yesterday has sparked new debate over Curristans' policy on nuclear weapons. The current government line is that they are for defensive use and a policy of 'use in exceptional circumstances' is in my opinion justifiable" *Clapping* "Today we heard that William Richards has been executed. Finally that murdering piece of filth has gone to hell where he rightfully belongs. Maybe the families of his victims can take comfort by the fact that he no longer walks among us and justice has been served." *Clapping* "Finally we come back to the issue of introducing women into front line combat units. The Curristan Senate has today rejected the proposal to allow women into combat units citing medical burdens on equipment that would be needed to supply them. This comes despite a womens division serving with distinction on the Free Curristan Republic side in the Curristan Civil War. Maybe it was a case of desperate times, desperate measures but time will tell if women will serve on the front line. It looks like we have run out of time again. Tune in next time where we will broadcast more views here in the Republic of Curristan." *Static* Quote
VigilantWatcher Posted December 28, 2010 Author Report Posted December 28, 2010 "This is Lazlow on the Voice of Curristan once again. The government has today announced the fact that our country is finally out of economic trouble. It looks like that the measures brought in by President Edwards are finally working." *Clapping* "A new poll done by us here at the Voice of Curristan have found that a surprising thirty per cent of the people surveyed would like to have a return to a Democratic Socialist Government which had been presided over by the winner of the First Curristan Civil War President Lisa Black. I was a teenager during that time and we became well off due to the benefits a low income family had such as bus passes and help towards school meals. I dont know if the Curristan Socialist Party have enough influence as of yet to challenge in the Presidential Election yet despite having luck in the provincial elections." VigilantWatcher Posted December 29, 2010 Author Report Posted December 29, 2010 "This is Lazlow on the Voice of Curristan once again. The country is now prospering as much as it did pre civil war. This is great news as the standard of living will increase which is great for us all." *Clapping* "Also i praise the efforts of the emergency services dealing with a monumental train crash in Jakirata. The kindness and dedication of each person involved in the rescue effort is what this country is all about. I hope that the people who were killed will rest in peace." "A better piece of news is the announcement that the infrastructure damaged in the civil war is repaired plus the towns and villages caught in the fighting are now in the process of being returned to normal." "It looks like we have run out of time again. Tune in next time where we will broadcast more views here in the Republic of Curristan." *Static* Quote
