Prussia, Bavaria,
Chancellors Private House,
06:00pm,

The evening had become very dark. Karl Hindenburg was called back to Berlin by the Kaiser. Hindenburg knew what the Kaiser was up to, but he needed to get to the Chancellors house first. He arrived in the door to be greeted by General Fritz Lubeck. They walked into the study where they were met by other politicians and military officers, drinking and smoking.

One stood up and Karl shuck his hand saying "Chancellor thank god you are OK. I heard you were arrested by the Kaisers men!" The Chancellor replied "I got out of the Reichstag when I found out what the Kaiser was doing. When I went missing he obviously knew that I had found out what he was planning, so he said I was arrested but his men are still searching for me".

The Chancellor continued "Come sit down let us discuss what we are up to. But first read this" The Chancellor gave Hindenburg a folder. He sat down and began to read.

After reading through the folder Hindenburg began to speak "I guess you saw the movie then did you?"Men in the room laughed at the comment. The Chancellor replied "No the Kaiser adopted this plan from the original plans that came from Hitlers Germany. He thought it would be useful for defending the government in a coup situation".

Karl asked "So what exactly is going on?" The Lubeck sat down and spoke "The Kaiser is attempting to make himself permanent Dictator of Prussia. He has just recently disbanded the Reichstag and taken all power for himself. He is using his Imperial Bodyguard like the S.S in Hitlers Germany to enforce his new rule. It seems he has recruited over 100,000 Imperial Bodyguards and has deployed them all over Prussia."

Lubeck took a smoke of his cigar and began to speak again "Now with his new powers the Kaiser is attempting to retake Anchorage and other territories he claimed recently and adapt them into his new Reich. Obviously he is stupid enough to think we could win but we can't. We need to stop him before the country is destroyed."

Karl spoke "Not only that but save our relations with the Ursalians the Koreans and other nations around the world" The Chancellor spoke "Exactly. We are to use this plan to stop the Kaiser before this gets out of control. Most of these men you see here have access to the Kaiser and the Kaiser trusts them. He has called a meeting of all General staff in Berlin including his new henchmen. Our plan is to kill him and most of the other army officers and begin operation Valkyrie."

Karl speaks "When does the meeting begin?" Lubeck replied " At twelve O'clock tomorrow. So we have no time to waste. Colonel Augsburg and lieutenant Hamburg have offered to kill the Kaiser." Karl spoke " What do I do then?" The Chancellor replied "We need you to contact the Ursalia diplomat at the Discussions and tell him what is going on. He should understand"Karl replied " I will travel back their immediately, but what will you do sir?" He replied "We are going to wait in Berlin until Valkyrie begins. Now get going"

Hindenburg went outside into his car and drove off, heading back to the discussions.

Kaisers Headquarters,
Berlin, Brandenburg,
12 o'clock,

Colonel Augsburg and lieutenant Hamburg were approaching towards the Kaisers HQ. It was patrolled by the Kaisers Imperial Bodyguard. Their faces concealed with a blue helmet-mask. In the colonels right hand he held a briefcase, inside was a bomb. It was set with a timer earlier when driving in the staff car. It was set for 20 minutes exactly.

As the two officers approached to the main entrance one of the KIB spoke and said "Halt. Identification papers please" The lieutenant showed both his and the colonels papers. The KIB nodded and let them threw the entrance. The two officers walked towards the Briefing room, where the meeting was to be held. Many of the Prussian Army Generals were gathered around the discussion table, chatting among themselves.

Colonel Augsburg placed his Briefcase under the table. No one had seen him do so. The colonel told lieutenant Hamburg to go out to the car, the lieutenant nodded and left the building. The Kaiser approached into the room, a KIB shouted "Attention". Everyone turned and looked at the Kaiser. He looked strong and confident, even do most of the officers knew a impossible task lay ahead.

One of the Generals began to speak, briefing them all on their districts and what troops were to be deployed and how. The colonel knew he only had 10 minutes left. Lieutenant Hamburg came back in and whispered into his ear telling him "Get out now". They both walked out unnoticed and walked outside to the staff car. It was only a matter of seconds until the bomb went off.

The colonel got into the staff car as he looked at his watch. He counted to himself saying " 5..4..3..2..1.." BANG! A huge gulf of fire emerged out of the building. The doors were blown off, the windows shattered to pieces which fell like rain everywhere. Some officers were running out of the building while others were just dead on the ground.

A large siren began to ring out as smoke and dust consumed the surrounding area. The KIB and regular Prussian Army troops were rushing around in confusing. KIB guards ran into the building, looking for their Kaiser, other Prussian troops helped the dieing and injured.

Colonel Augsburg staff car drove off. He was shocked because he caused such an explosion but then again it was for the better good. He was heading towards the Reichstag to met up with other Military Officers and Politicians. He picked up his phone and dialed a number. It rang out and it was answered. Fritz Lubeck was on the other line he said " Did it work?" The colonel replied "Initiate Operation Valkyrie" He then hung up the phone.

He turned to Lieutenant Hamburg and said "So now it begins, pray God it works".

As both the officers approached the Reichstag in the staff car, Colonel Augsburg looked up into the sky, as he saw a glint of light shining. As he squinted his eyes to get a better sight, he realized it was a formation of bombers. He immediately shouted "STOP THE CAR! AND GET OUT EVERYONE".

The two officers and their driver jumped out onto the pavement and ran towards a building for cover. As they sat crouched behind a shop wall Colonel Augsburg took out his phone and rang the Chancellor. It rang out as the Colonel watched frightened civilians flee in panic.

The phone was answered and on the other line was the Chancellor saying "Yes?" The Colonel spoke "Sir, a formation of bombers is right over Berlin. We expect them to drop their bombs at any moment. Where are you?" The Chancellor replied "We have seen the bombers too. We are taking cover in a train subway"

Then overhead the drone of the bombers was closer. A whistling sound was heard. Then large fountains of fiery explosions emerged from all directions. The colonel could see the Reichstag being blown to bits. Their hope of initiating Valkyrie had failed. The control of the Reichstag and surrounding Government buildings was the main ingredient to success.

The Chancellor said in such a event of failure, all people involved in the operation were to go to Ursalia and meet up at the Prussian Embassy. When the colonel looked up, he realized it was Prussian Air Force planes which had bombed the Reichstag.

The Air Strike was ordered by Adolf Reinhard to stop operation Valkyrie. He moved Prussian troops in the Berlin garrison to set up check points and defenses around Berlin. KIB units were moved around the inner city.

The Chancellor and his supporters got out of Berlin and headed North to the Prussian Coast. Hoping to contact their diplomat to ask Ursalia to land a troop force.
