The Revolution of Khalistan DoE

King Timmy

Recommended Posts

On the northern coast of Tiministan the people grew weary and restless of the current government. Their wish was that they would be able to rule themselves, and create their own country called Khalistan.

When the government heard of what they wanted, they saw an opportunity to show they are not as tyrannical as once thought and granted the people their wish.

From now on the land shown below will be know as Khalistan and it shall elect it's own leader from it's own citizens.

Due to the close links with the people there, Tiministan will defend the people of this land.

President Ishabad says"thank you dotcom yet your stance is not clear to us"

Who is this dotCom of whom you speak? The announcement was made by Aurelie Desmarais, president of the Republic of Wallonia.

OOC: People's forums names are not necessarily the names of their leaders.

The name of Ishabad is one familiar to us--your new nation name fools no one. Fortunately you are in Antarctica, far beyond where the Republic of Wallonia needs to worry about.

The Republic of Wallonia would do well not to make such foolish remarks so publicly.

The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Dal states that this so called nation of Khalistan has no connection with Sikhs from the Kingdom of Cochin. Khalistan had been a concept cherished by Sikhs for a long time, however most of its goals had been achieved by becoming part of the Kingdom of Cochin and thus enjoying greater freedom and autonomy along with greater prosperity. The SGPD thus states that Khalistan is not affiliated with the Sikhs of Cochin.

xxx Private to Khalistan xxx

The Kingdom of Cochin has as one of its provinces Punjab, the homeland of Sikhs. As a secular and tolerant society, Sikhism is one of the various religions honored by the state. A Gurudwara even functions as part of our Great Temple of All Faiths. Hence it ought not be surprising that our nation would know so much about Sikhism.

OOC: Really? Cool! Sat Sri Akal to you then, mate. I am from India. Dont worry, I wont be putting any spanners into your Khalistan RP, :D We could even have some IC interactions with your nation getting privileges at Golden Temple, etc.
