I love your use of OOC tags in an attempt to explain your posts were all 'higher-level discussion' instead of just plain piss-poor logic and ability to argue a rational thought. I'm saying that I, and I am sure a great deal of others, do not consider a temporary unilateral unwritten agreement with the AA of a disbanded and merged AA to be a "treaty" in the common usage of the word on Bob. You may call it one by all means, but that does not mean you can use it to make a point about the common treaty on Bob. It's like trying to compare a Granny Smith to a Red Delicious because you can call them both apples.

I am not trying to assert anything about your ideology, as I find it interesting but have not had the time to consider it sufficiently, I am simply trying to explain that your insertion of it into this particular thread was not particularly well thought out.

This post made me crack up.

Can't fault GOONS for these declarations. What they're doing is treating FPA as two separate entities - a label of yet-to-merge-into-GOONS nations (protected) and an unruly splinter government (unprotected).

I like Rooman but I think ktarthan's right on this one. I just don't think this was a well-picked battle.

No man, you totally shouldn't take that swiping blow lying down. I mean it isn't like you showed up in a thread to make snide little comments and a veiled jab claiming the GOONS were bad treaty partners simply because they were taking a zombie AA and two rogue micro alliances.

Given that Facepunch merged into the GOONS, the GOONS have control over the Facepunch AA. That's pretty much accepted, at least over a short term period of time while the merger is handled. As such the GOONS have the right to escort people off of the AA or deal with attacks against it.

That isn't the point though. The point is you tried to rip on the GOONS and they dared to use sarcasm in their reply. You should complain more.
