Recommended Posts

Greetings Planet Bob,

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank The Imperial Assault Alliance. When we moved to the blue sphere we have received much kindness, but none compares to that of which IAA has shown us. And heres our announcement:

Imperial Assault Alliance - Blackstone Commission Protectorate

Preamble: Imperial Assault Alliance (IAA) and the Blackstone Commission (BCOM) come together in good faith to further the development of not only BCOM but of the friendship that has been built between both alliances.

Article I – Sovereignty: Both IAA and BCOM acknowledge each other’s existence as sovereign political entities and agree to give each other the respect that such a situation entails.

Article II – Protection and Defense: IAA agrees to protect BCOM from any illegitimate attacks on the alliance or its members. Any and all illegitimate attacks on BCOM will be treated as attacks on IAA itself. BCOM is not required to assist IAA in any defensive war though it may do so at its own discretion, additionally, neither IAA nor BCOM is required to assist the other signatory in an offensive war though it is encouraged.

Article III – Spying: Neither IAA or BCOM condones spying in any way shape or form. Should either signatory discover that the other has been practicing spying, this agreement is considered null and void regardless of the 48 hour cancellation clause.

Article IV - Multi-Level Cooperation: IAA pledges support to the development of the alliance BCOM across a multitude of levels. This includes but is not limited to: financial help, technical aid and alliance organization.

Article V – Cancellation or Possible Upgrade: Should either side feel that this treaty is no longer required, they agree to give the other a 48 hour cancellation notice, during which the treaty remains active. Should BCOM feel they have outgrown the need for protection and assistance; the parties will discuss a possible upgrade of this treaty as they see fit

Signed:
