chillycoldlungs
I sent couriers with messages to over a thousand nation rulers over the last week inviting them to a place called Worry Free CNTALK, WFC. I would now like to extend that invitation to the general public. WFC is a dropbox for intelligence sharing. It is also a discussion place where hot topics can be discussed more freely than they could be discussed in areas where identities are made public. Only myself and one other person have access to identifying characteristics (OOC: IP addresses). My partner in this wishes to remain anonymous for the time being. You can rest assured that your identity is safe. All members are required to go by an alternate name. WFC currently has over 70 members but we want you. Everyone. Give us a look-see. Share what you know. Make this game funner for the masses without risking your own neck. Here is a portal to our humble abode: http://s4.zetaboards.com/Worry_Free_CNTALK/forum/3047002/ I would also like to open a Q and A session with all members of the Cyberverse. I do not want misconceptions floating around about WFC. Ask away.
LittleRena
Here are possibly some obvious questions. 1) Can any information be taken with more than a pinch of salt? 2) What do you hope to achive in the long term? 3) What do you intend to do with the information? I can't think of others right now, I'm a bit dumb, I'll continue to follow this discussion, I want to know what other questions come up. chillycoldlungs
There are two sections for discussion at WFC. One is General Discussion where you cannot believe everything you read. The other is Serious Discussion. Intel pm'ed to us is reviewed for accuracy, edited so that the leak is not incriminated, ran by the leak to ensure the editing was satisfactory, and then posted in Serious Discussion. Things in Serious Discussion are much more likely to be true. Synergy, for example, was leaked to us and run in Serious Discussion. While Synergy wasn't breaking news and was known about by some, it was something and wasn't known about by all. As we grow and trust builds we hope to receive intel more often and of greater magnitude. Our goal is to make the game funner and more interesting for the commoners: the people who aren't in government and who don't idle in IRC for hours each day. It is to bring more things to light quicker to less connected players. I suppose a side effect could be increased drama and tension due to certain leaks. That isn't our express goal but it is something we would be glad to see. Bob is definitely drama dry at the moment. Drama makes this game more enjoyable. We do not, and I repeat, do not seek the downfall of any particular bloc. Both my partner and I have our biases (and different biases at that) but they will not be factored into our actions as WFC's leaders. I hope that answers your questions, Rena. chillycoldlungs
Millen there is a reason that topic is in General Discussion (not Serious) and, despite being the oldest topic by someone other than the Admin account, doesn't extend to two pages. Fernando12
I think this guy thinks info about the next big war and how it will be planned (how alliances will go about putting a CB on another) etc...he prolly thinks he will get some people to drop real good info on that site. Thing is no one is that stupid. There are other ways to post info anonymously without having to go on some forum. Whatever the goal of this guy is, it will/has failed. Any info will certainly be useless.

While people can use, say, pastebin, the link to that pastebin will only circulate amongst seasoned veterans. Hopefully, kind and knowledgeable players will finally do something about the lack of fun for the lower classes and WFC gives them a way to do so. With proxies and a brand new email address their identity is still safe, it just takes slightly longer than pastebin or what have you. As for failure, I do not think so of course. Many other don't think so as well, apparently. We have no malicious goals, so I can only hope you and others join me in wishing for a great success. The fact they believe something that is unverified and discussing a topic of false intel like they know whats going on makes them all look like gullible fools. Banksy
This forum will be a short term fad, but nothing much. The people who are 'in the know' are there precisely because they tend not to leak !@#$. Unless there is real motivation then any efforts here will be fruitless. chillycoldlungs
Voodoo, we don't believe information that is unverified. Requiring registration does not keep out any particular group of Bob residents. Why is registration required? We want WFC to be a community. We do not want it to be just a pastebin. Requiring registration gives the sense of a community. Ideally, everyone will take part in conversation. We will not force this, but requiring all viewers to have an account at least pushes them towards commenting here and there. I do understand where questioning registration requirements comes from. It was debated, but we obviously settled on the system we now have. As for the doom and gloom about the forums future, we will see. There's no point in arguing such things. Questions will be answered up until August 4th at 12:01 a.m.
