Wiki says we're significant. See, it's right there in the template :P No offense taken.
Nice to see someone from Valhalla counter Buds' absolutely retarded refrain with some sensible analysis. Seriously, if some Purple AAs/talking heads can't stand Invicta so much, why throw a !@#$-fit when they move? I don't recall anyone from GGA pissing their pants when Gremlins moved to Aqua.

Didn't read this entire thread til just now, and I' have to say that I really rope that if this had happened during the Vox era I would not have been spouting some of the seriously airhead replies I read. Post smart.

I was really referring to the hurrduur in this thread but you'll have to excuse me, "absolutely retarded refrain" was an overstatement of your rabble-rousing. But if you think "Branimir didn't push the talk button yet" counts as intelligent discussion of Invicta's move, then there's not a lot I can do for you except complete your career by pointing out that it's not. In either case, Hal's cool manner was a good contrast.

Must say that Bud reminds me of a kind of street corner street walker in contrast to noWedges high class escort in his unashames hatred for an alliance that once fought side by side with his.

At least noWedge had a reason of sorts for disliking Invicta as a rival, whilst Bud dislikes them from the standpoint of an ally.

How tiresome...

schatt i was unsure of which comment you were talking about as i could only find the one that I quoted, but earlier Branimer claimed to be controlling them via remote. Hence my comment.

Ill actually take that as a compliment not being of the same class as NW. M6 ive never been a fan of any alliance who basically says well fine then ill take my ball and go somewhere else especially when they claimed to be such staunch supporters of a specific ideal. Then because things didnt fall their way they left. If your going to make a mess at least stick around long enough to clean it up, dont dump it on others.

All I have to say to that is Invicta made more effort towards purple unity than Valhalla, and for Valhallans to critises the lack of staunchness shown Invicta by leaving the sphere is shocking. (To be clear I think Valhalla are staunch but to critses an alliance that turned the other cheek to them after a year of threats and bullying is low).

NW was up front.
Bud - I guess like many in Valhalla you dislike Invicta for being that bit classier than you.

And BTW - if Stickmen move onto red I will have to urinate whilst laughing.

To be fair to you Bud I think you joined Val after the threats were made.

It was some time back and Invicta went recruitment mad.

As such they took a senator place at nWs expense. You may imagine he hit the roof. He did and used political power and threats to force Invicta from the race. Invicta lived for months under a shadow that was his rage. Even after Legion beat Vals arse NPO bailled out Val with white peace, or else; to Legion. Legion wanted a free purple senate race. So until nW was couped Invicta was bullied by Valhalla.

I cannot speak for Valhalla but many in Invicta went into PU with great hope but also great reservations. I think many Valhallans had nothing but contempt for Invicta. No proof - just a feeling.

You really should stop because you're beginning to make yourself look foolish. Generally, making such statements in the absence of the facts is not a good idea. ;)

Yes it is - thanks for the insight!

However I have fact. I approached Valhalla in the nW days to talk about friendship rather than animosity, to me that proves Invictas approach to a stable sphere much before Valhallas.

Cant prove it, still a fact.

Also I can remmeber the hegemony beat downs when Val always offerred Invicta a second prize target list. IE nothing - Invicta where to take the second round because they were not as good as Valhalla and as such they could only get onto the sanctioned tech raid after Valhalla had taken the lions share.

As much as I dislike the Red Sphere and the long term moves Invicta has made (still respect Jorost though) anyone lumping NAC into some sort of lapdog category or labeling them off as the same as Invicta are sorely mistaken.

I've known these guys for as long as they have existed, both times, NAC are quality friends who always there if you need them. I'd be worse off having not gotten to know Shavar and Rattle over my course of being on Bob.

So youre basing this off things from over 2 years not from anything recent. Way to hold on to an old grudge and miss the mark. Things have changed Val has changed and trying to paint invicta as a victim is out and out wrong.

If raiders are willing to go for raiding an alliance that has 500 nukes, maybe they'd like to survey our direct MDP partners as well. ;)

As one with a keen eye and average intelligence would notice, my comment was a playful jab at your brethren Lord Levistus, but also at other such comments on the previous page of that discussion, where I had my fun with your unhealthy obsession with dogs that sit on laps, NPO and Invicta. I recognize that a well known Invictan put forth a painful truth for some where you reacted in a such poor manner, but your obsession is nevertheless an object of quite some laughs.

Also, its mister Branimir to you, sir, if you would like to make future reference of my name.

That being said, its hardly the subject matter. Once again welcome to the new, now, red alliances. As I said previously I do hope you find what you are looking for.

Yeah, he did. He also joined after the later incident, which was when we were allied, and after you'd left Invicta.

Uh... lolwut? We have more WRCs (eleven) than we have 8.5K infra nations (seven).

No, I was more making fun of the "let's raid Invicta" post. I don't think we would count as a valid raid target even if we were without treaties. Which is all I was saying.

Do you actually find out facts before you open your mouth or do you just go right ahead and insert your foot unconsciously?

I think its the 2nd tbh becuase for your information Valhalla(Thru myself) and Elysium(Thru mhawk) MADE purple unity.....ie: wrote it, pitched it, and formed it.

Please continue on though, I do still need some chuckles as its the start of a long week for me :awesome:

It would be more awesome if you could coordinate it such that 10 minutes before Gopherbashi went to update the ASR, entire alliance moves to Red. Without an announcement.
That wouldn't exactly make a huge pile of difference - neither Invicta nor the NAC are contained within that thread.

Although getting an entire alliance to change colours instantaneously would be a significant feat nonetheless.

Sorry for the late retort.

I hold no grudge against Valhalla. I was only pointing out that Invicta have done more for Purple unity than Valhalla. To say Valhalla wrote the script may be true. But to say that nWs departure kick started purple unity is a farce. The majority of Purple were seeking close ties whilst Valahalla under nW preferred to rip them apart. That is why I think Invicta did more than Valhalla - because they always wanted it.

Making statements without the facts that are rooted in years old conjectures is bad enough. Making such statements again after the information has been supplied you in this thread is nothing short of facepalm-worthy.

No offense (sine you're one of the few NPO posters that doesn't sounds completely full of crap nowadays) but Invicta never ever gave off the feeling they'd amass to anything without trying to be a support pilar for someone else, it's always been that way and will probably stay the same.

And when you're reffering to power, while skipping the fact that you ARE the #2 alliance in the game stat-wise, i guess you're reffering to cng/sf/etc when you think power since we actually didn't lose the last 2 or so wars so we got the hot potato - do you see us allying Invicta, asking them to come to our sphere or having anything to do with them for that matter?
Especially when i honestly can't imagine how people would come close to showing support to an alliance lead by Haflinger, i've seen so much sheer stupidity in his posts these last years i just can't get around it.

But hey, GOOD LUCK WITH IT RIGHT.

P.S. First time since i can remember that i actually don't hate Valhalla posts and that i didn't regret them getting off with no reps after karma war.

You were doing so well, and then you got to Haflinger, oh well
It's really weird how people always think he's Invicta's leader, because he certainly isn't now and I don't think he ever has. Also, you don't see SG allying with Invicta because their views, friends and such are incompatible. If you guys didn't ally with useless alliances, why Sparta?
