A number of German Armored Trucks for the troops which were deployed without them would be soon delivered.
250 Towed Rocket Artillery pieces would also be delivered. Any truck would be able to pull them, as they are not extremely heavy like conventional artillery.

A German Officer is sent to the camp and asks for one Finn Representative to be sent to the German General HQ to facilitate coordination now and later.

Överste Tuomas Kivelä was sent to serve as the communication officer between the generals and Berlin. He, despite only being a 'Colonel', was renowned as a logistics officer by many of the Finnish Generals, and had been the man who organized the merchant marine to Antarctica originally. He was a rather young man, of about 24 and a half years, having served since he was drafted at 17, and his 170cm stature and lean frame did not make him an imposing figure.

He steps off the helicopter, a metal briefcase in each hand, and walks towards the car that was waiting for him at the Berlin airport, saluting whoever came to greet him, "Överste Kivelä reporting for duty in the German Command as liaison for the Finnish Republican Guard."

"Welcome, Herr Överste. Please follow us."

They would take him in an armored vehicle to...somewhere, surely close to Berlin, and would arrive already inside of a Bunker half an hour later. He would go through an elaborate multi story Übersteinian bunker "city", until reaching the great hall of the General Staff, with maps and screens. There were Ratsherr Martens and on two screens, Martens the Elder and Tambarskjelve, discussing some news from the front. The Ratsherr, surrounded by other officers, turns to greet him, salute him and shake his hand.

"Welcome to our home for the time being."

In the meantime, it could be seen that another General stood in front of a screen in another sector of the room, trying to communicate with Cochin. They were requesting the activation of its ODP. Communications were established successfully.

In view of the Optional Defense Pact in existence with the VDL, the Kingdom of Cochin promises its assistance. Please inform us on what front you need our assistance and of what strength so that we can prepare our mobilization and deployment.

We believe that it is necessary to put down the Red Army as soon as possible. We would like to request the sending of anywhere from 500k to 1000k troops over to Western Slavic Federation where the Western Slavic General HQ, currently assisting us, will be able to deploy your divisions efficiently. They are coordinating that Front.
The majority of the terrain are Mountains, and many cities also are there. If you have mountain specialists, they will benefit greatly. Please do send an attachment of tanks ranging from 1000 to 2000, proportionally to your chosen Army Deployment.

If you also with to deploy airforce, you may rebase at Martensheim, then Air Marshall von Danzig will coordinate with our own airforce directly.

We may also be in need of establishing a chinese-slavic federation corridor for the transport of weaponry and potentially expeditionary forces.

The Kingdom of Cochin promises to send an Expeditionary Force consisting of 143,500 and an armored force of 1500, in short a total army of 570,800. We can also promise an air complement of 5 Regiments (20 Squadrons) for now, with hopefully more squadrons available in due time. The Royal Cochin Defense Forces would require an air and ground logistics corridor for the deployment and resupplying of this force. We hope Slavic Federation would assist us with this. If and when requested, the Kingdom shall arrange a logistics corridor for the deployment of United States of China forces to Slavic Federation.

We wish to assign a General Officer from Royal Cochin Army to liaise with the forces allied with you so that these issues may be resolved and the forces may be effectively utilized.

1045, 13 June

In Taeunas, the events had been watched from overhead for the duration. Large scale troop movements and ship deployments were noted and a realtime map projected on the main viewer of the situation room. Aids and officers ran about, giving opinions and looking over intel sheets. It was a veritable storm of voices and information being flung about.

I'm the middle of it all sat Christos. A restless night had brought him down to this room, amid the noise and semi controled chaos. He tapped a pencil on he table he sat by, waiting for his people to reach their conclusions that really wouldn't be conclusions at all, but mere opinions of what they thought might happen.

Gerry Adams was in another part of the building, using all his people and their back channel contacts to try and sound out a solution to all of this without another European city ending up glowing in the dark. France was an ally through the WEU treaty, but the movements of France in recent memory had been cause for slight concern. Now this move... Gerry wondered what the Scots were thinking as his message to them was sent off, as they were to many of the nations involved in the dispute.

**Message**
Taeunas desires to know the extent which is being considered by your leaders. Unrestricted warfare and the use of WMDs would be deplorable under any means. Is this a probability?
**End**

A long shot, to be sure, but certainly worth the try.

In the war room, DeSchaine listened to snatches of the conversations. Every so often one of his generals would come up and ask for a yes or no answer. So far, rediness of the air and ground forces had been raised to Condition 2. All leave had been cancled for the military.

Both fleets had been given alert orders and were in the process of moving to positions in the south, just outside French waters. Only the hospital ships were kept back. Merchant freighters were instructed to various docks to begin the loading of equipment and supplies.

DeSchaine looked around as be waited for Gerry to get done. Once again, Europe was being plunged into war, and this time Taeunas could not and would not sit idly by. Due to the number of nations involved, they were still not sure of which side they would come in on.

"Sir, the messages are out. It may be some time before we get replies."

"Good Gerry. In the meantime, what do you think?"

"I think we're in for a storm. Either way we go, it's going to cause problems down the road. The treaty is a heavy thing, but from all accounts, Therese started this bout of craic."

"Aye, so it seems. She may have made a mistake, but her people shouldn't be punished for it."

"Agreed. When this whole right bags has gone far enough, we should be ready to play peacemaker once again."

Christos nodded. He had ideas for that, but hoped it would be before a disaster happened.

Fighter and attack aircraft were sent up to cover Taeunas airspace. Arbiter made note of the IFF codes being used and plotted around them. The network was fully up and ready, with data from the navy being sent in as well. With the range of some of the SAMs aboard the ships, quite an expanse would be covered against ballistics.

All that remained was to receive the replies before they acted.

Classified Dispatch to the Kingdom of Cochin:

The United States of China requests permission to begin reestablishment of heavy rail between Qinghai and Xinjiang and instructions on the establishment of a land based logistics corridor to its Athenian and Slavic Allies. We also propose a joint naval logistics corridor between the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean, if accepted, we request you send a naval attache to Taipei.

Classified Dispatch to forward Command Center of the Slavic Federation, CC Athenian Attache:

Chinese units are currently being mobilized while the Grand Assembly debates whether to send expeditionary units to reinforce Slavic and Athenian forces. The Grand Assembly has authorized the immediate establishment of supplies to the forces engaged on the Southern Front. Please send us a list of countries who require supply assistance in the South. Per our obligations to the Holy American Empire, York, and J. Andres absolutely no supplies must end up in the hands of forces engaging these three powers. As such we will not be sending relief directly to the Germans as an extra precaution.

Classified Dispatch to J. Andres, Holy American Empire, and Republic of York:

Per France's offensive actions, and the Slavic and Athenian response to defensive action on behalf of Germany, the Chinese Government feels it must remain neutral on the French Front to assist our allies fighting defensively on the Southern Front. We will take as much precaution as possible to see that any material aid we give to the Slavic Federation, Athenians, and their coalition partners does not end up on the French Front. We've informed our other allies we will be restricting aid to the Germans to only include humanitarian supplies to ensure it does not get sent to the French Front. Should through some unlikely event, sovereign territory of yours in North America come under attack, China will honor its defensive treaty clauses to you.

Classified Dispatch to the German Central Government:

Regrettably China finds itself in a position where friends are engaged both for and against Germany. We are not unsympathetic to your position, but we must not violate our pacts with allies. As such we will be assisting our allies helping you in the South, but we will not be sending any aid to Germany directly that can be used on the French Front. We are however authorizing the release of any humanitarian assistance to Germany's civilian population. If this at any time is needed please let us know what supplies you need.

Road convoys from United States of China would have to come till Ruoqiang where Special Transport Trains are to be arranged to transport the units till Kara Balta.
A rail corridor between Xinjiang and Qinghai can be reviewed in the future. The logistics corridor is currently open only to United States of China for the transit and resupply of its ground forces for the duration of the German conflict. As regards Indian Ocean the Royal Cochin Navy would facilitate a secure corridor to United States of China. A corresponding Pacific Ocean corridor could be discussed later.

For the duration of this conflict the Air Defense Network would also be clearing an Air Transit Corridor for the air units of United States of China.

The air and land corridors are open only to United States of China for the duration of this conflict.

Amsterdam

The men of the Armed State Security, better known by their traditional Irish title of Armtha SS, marched through the city of Amersterdam. Their banners carried the emblem of the Armtha and the number in roman numerals below designated the battalion. The 14th Battalion of the Armtha SS led the march through the city.

Once in their encampment outside the city limit, the officers took time to meet and decide on structure as the men had left so quickly that some of the battalions were fully manned, some only half and one, the 3rd Battalion, had less than 10% of its men volunteer for this mission. As such the units were reorganized and thus the Tahoan Legion was born. The men elected Hans Ragnarson, son of Tahoan Nordlandic leader Magnus Ragnarson, as their commander. Hans, fluent in Irish, English, German and Nordlandic had visited Germany dozens of times with his father and was the perfect choice both diplomatically and militarily. As an up and coming military commander in the Tahoan Army he had requested transfer to the Armtha SS at the age of 33 where he had preformed with distinction in combat.

As one of the prerequisites for joining the Armtha SS is 5 years in the Tahoan Army (or combat experience) as well as knowledge of the German language (Officers must speak it fluently), the unit will surely pull its weight in combat without burdening the German High Command with liaison officers who could be better used elsewhere.

Maor-Ghinearál/Generalmajor/Major General Hans Christian Ragnarson sent his first message as commander of the Tahoan Legion to German High Command in Berlin. "We are ready"

Forces being deployed to sites within the Central Slavic Federation:

Air Corridor Traffic

12 F-65 Vanguard Squadrons
14 F/A-47 Squadrons
6 EF-50 Squadrons
8 F/B-23 Squadrons
18 Tu-160S Bombers
9 B-9 Bombers
10 AC-130s
84 A-10 IIIs
16 AWACs

Ground Corridor Traffic:

The ground corridor would be seeing a simply massive force. While there were a great many trucks moving across the terrain, a curious site would also be the mule UGV developed by the Chinese army during the Francoist Era.

The Mule was solely designed as a fuel efficient convoy system, each one did not carry the weight of a drivers cabin, climate system, or anything else. Thus it could maximize its weight towards carrying large quantities of supplies over great distances.

160, 000 Mechanized Infantry (using a mix of Styker, Razorback ATVs, M2 Bradleys, and Mk-28s APCs)
200 Strategic Self Propelled Surface to Air Missile Launchers
400 200 mm Titan Self Propelled Guns
200 Self Propelled Tactical Ballistic Missile Launchers
300 Self Propelled MLRS
1200 Self Propelled Main Battle Tanks
400 Self Propelled Anti-Aircraft Guns
40 Battle Air Space Defenders
1200 Juggernaut Main Battle Tanks

Sea Corridor:

Large Oceanic Supply Vessels would begin being prepared in the ports of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. The Third High Seas Fleet had been dispatched to provide escort to the convoys. Once loaded they would bring large quantities of supplies for the allies. Attack helicopters as well as ammunition reserves for heavy weapons would be brought along this pathway, with an addition 25, 000 soldiers, and 400 more juggernauts, titans, and self propelled SAMs.

OOC: Most important part is the last section of the post, right after the helmet-picture.

IC:

"Laura..."
"Alex, what is it?"
"You need to get to safety."
"What're you talking about? The Revolution's going beautifully!"
"It's not. We have been attacked by Slavs and Greeks in the east and south. Rebel Army may involve itself, having close ties with the fascists."
"But...but..!"
"No but. We need to gather whatever technology we have, my love. From Sarkara's core-components over military blueprints to the access codes for our nuclear weapons."
"And then? Then we flee?"
"No, we prepare to flee. I'll order our forces to keep a corridor between us and the French free. They may be monarchist swine, but they're not fighting us. You have a chance of getting through."
"What about you?"
"I won't die. No matter what, I'll survive, and if I have to walk through hell and heaven themselves, toppling gods from their high seats."
"Promise."
"I swear it, Laura. I swear that I'll stop at nothing to find you again."
A kiss was shared.
"Get to the Space Elevator. It's allied ground by now. The people there have defected to us."
"All of them?"
"The majority."
"That means more than 2 million supporters down there."
"All of them potential soldiers for our cause."
"Mhm.."
"We could then restart in Canada. Leclerc told me much about it, when he ruled it."
"Millions would leave Germany to go there."
"Indeed."
"But what about those who stay..?"
"They...will most likely be slaughtered. Millions will die, because the fascists will not want another revolution to occur."
"My god..."
"He's dead."
"Nietzsche, too."
They chuckled for a short while.
"Well...Gather your things. Assemble our technology. You'll need a few planes for this."
"Lynneth will need a whole plane on his own, and that's just his database."
"I know. But now go."
She nodded, turned and began to organise the things that needed to be done in the worst of all cases.

13th of June.
Around 6 in the morning, northern Front.

Anticipating an all-out attack from the Slavs, approximately half the air force had been recalled further south, to be ready to scramble and attack Slavs at a moment's notice.
This weakened the air-offensive in the north somewhat.
When the Northerners counter-attacked, the VDL-divisions amongst them had been ravaged, but not only by the bombardment, which was considerable. Despite the great advantage they were supposed to have, both in numbers and allies, many deserted, simply out of fear of falling prisoner to the communists. The 43 divisions were down to an effective 21 and still more were trying to flee, killed by their comrades in the process, getting away, or something else happening to them. Tanks were decimated similarly, only 12 divisions remaining of the loyalist forces already.
I the south, militia-forces were continued to be raised and supplied with VDL-weaponry and equipment.

"Reports are coming in. Apparently, the Germans have sent 15 squadrons against us, ten fighters, 5 bombers. Makes for a total of 180 planes."
"Are you serious?"
"That's what our radar is giving us."
"Christ. Kill them."

While the air forces had been more than halved in the north, there still were 7 bomber squadrons, 20 Multi role fighters, 10 Interceptors, and 2 squadrons of Stealth-focused planes available, 49 in total.
The Red Air force was in numerical superiority, and they knew the tactics of their counterparts very well. They also knew every last weak point and problem these planes had.
Using AWACS to help, they first fired a salvo at the approaching German planes, then accelerated to near full speed. The manoeuvres in the following dogfights were things the Red pilots - most being defectors - were used to. The Fascists? Most likely not. They'd trained only for a relatively short time with the modern planes and thus had a considerable disadvantage in handling them.
Meanwhile, S-600 Wiesel SAM systems would open fire on the bombers. These vehicles had a detection range of up to 750 kilometres and combat range of 600 kilometres, capable of engaging up to 10 targets at once each, including aircraft, cruise missiles, and super- and hypersonic ballistic missiles. Within its capabilities was detecting and engaging any GDR built plane - this was a minor flaw intended by its constructors in case anyone attempted using the planes against its owners. While this mean that technically, the Northerners could engage red planes with similar ease, they had never acquired many of these vehicles for their use, apparently preferring to rely on massed AA guns. And they most likely didn't know how to activate this part of the system. But, with 4 missiles per vehicle, and there being more of these vehicles than fascist planes, this would be a massacre most likely, on the martencist side at least.

"Are our artillery strikes successful?"
"They've decimated southern loyalists, according to the reports."
"Northerners?"
"No precise estimates, but the casualties are likely to be in the thousands by now, especially because our artillery was targeting their artillery and tanks."
"They're retaliating pretty well."
"Useless though, because our guns move after 2 shots, 3 at most."
"Theirs may do the same."
"Which doesn't matter, because we have more precise information about them. Not to mention more guns."
"And better morale."
"That, too."
"But now we must make a great strike at them. We have conquered protocols that enable us to heavily disrupt their communications."
"Really?"
"Yes, they were in the Ratsherr's possession. Now we must use them."

OOC: Spy warfare is here.
IC:
Thus red cyberwarfare-experts and hackers would start a wide-scale attack on the northern systems, satellites and whatever other communications they had to disrupt them. Surely, such a sudden and unexpected attack would be successful!
Regardless of this, however, the stealth-plane squadrons had been sent into the north at regular intervals. Their mission, to find out major supply-routes and destroy these supplies. Especially trains and ships were targeted, but also rails and trucks, whatever the Fascists had that they could use to bring supplies to the front.
The missions were reportedly a full success, though the 'attacking' part was simple. Finding these routes had been the hard part.
Of course, these missions would be flown continuously to prevent the Northerners to ever recover and to make it so they'd eventually run out of supplies, be those ammunition or food.

Meanwhile, 760,000 men and 70 tank-divisions threw themselves into battle, fighting with a strength that nobody could ever have expected of them. They would not only battle their enemies, but if any unit ever routed, slaughter them to the last man unless they surrendered quickly and without a fuss.
Commissars continued to do their job magnificently, executing traitors and boosting morale - be it through fear or inspiration - to heights previously unseen.
One was even observed riding openly on a tank, waving a sword around and shouting through a megaphone, "Drive me closer! I want to kill them with my sword!"

The 10,000 artillery systems in the region would continue to support the front-line.

Slavic attack

The attack on satellites hadn't been entirely unexpected.
However, devastating as it was to a few satellites, those were replaced easily through various means such as the geostationary stations launching new ones.
In addition, the anti-missile network successfully destroyed at least half of the ICBMs before they could even unleash their payload. according to later reports, only about half a dozen satellites were completely destroyed, five others heavily damaged. The spread of these missiles wasn't large enough by far, even with their kinetic killers. Some Generals called it even a 'minor distraction', at most.

The second wave was repelled in a similar fashion, though the missile-defences could do even better work now, it was claimed, because the ICBMs were coming right at them. While the warheads couldn't be stopped as easily, there were methods and ways to do this - as their trajectory was very known and hardly changeable - and thus stationary railguns were utilized to shoot several of the warhead off-target. Even a grazing-shot would most likely be enough to prevent disaster.
And thus it was. Reports claim less than a quarter of the warheads having hit, with one airfield almost completely devastated by 20 of them - its runway, at least - though the number of hits was probably higher than claimed. Nonetheless, it didn't seem to interrupt the Communists much. Neither morale, nor industrial production faltered.

When the Slavic bombers came into the air, the S-600 Wiesel SAM systems would work together with AWACS, OTH radar and numerous other detection sources. No stealth could hide from this onslaught of detection and hundreds of missiles streaked from the mobile platforms - which then moved, some shutting their radar off, others acting as decoys and strengthening it even - to destroy and hopefully utterly annihilate the Slavic bomber force. As the many missiles of the enemy came to the FUSR, so came FUSR-missiles to the Slavs. For the communists, missile-defence systems worked over-overtime, decoys and heavily armoured radar locations working to the soviet's advantage. Where the Slavs had most likely expected a massacre, they'd merely put a dent into communist capabilities.

A majority of AA-assets remained, as did much radar, though one of the several OTH-stations had been damaged. Nothing that couldn't be repaired however. And there still were geostationary and other satellites, many capable of leading things to their intended targets. Even after three of these waves, much had been left, partially in thanks to immense detection capabilities.

When the Cruise Missiles came, the reaction was as it was previously. They were attacked with the appropriate measures, 18 being taken down before ever reaching their target. One was brought off-course in the last moment, so it merely grazed the structure of the Vienna CityTower. The others hit with full force, but the sturdy and powerful structure of these buildings counteracted a collapse. The CityTower had been hit full-scale by two missiles, three with the grazing one. Four each had hit the DIB 200 and the Century Tower, but both continued standing despite smoking. They were defiant.

In retaliation to these attacks, thirty hypersonic Cruise Missiles with heavy fuel-air warheads were launched at strategic military locations in Slavic territory, including but not limited to military airfields, OTH-radar sites, rails, bridges and other such locations. These missiles were supported by a strike not unlike the one the Slavs had attempted on FUSR satellites: 10 ICBMs were launched, but they would only split up roughly 100 kilometres above Low Earth Orbit, where most military satellites were, aside from a few exceptions. Up there, they split, revealing 12 warheads per missile - each with its own drive, to ensure that they could spread into a large area and destroy a large number of hostile satellites. Otherwise, communist anti-air forces would remain vigilant to ensure minimal destruction by hostile attacks, even if they were as massive as the opening salvoes. Though, it was highly unlikely that the Slavs had many more missiles to do more of these strikes.

When the Slavic ground attack commenced and the first artillery rounds were detected in the air, a mere thousandth of a second was enough. FUSR artillery was stationed up to 150 kilometres away from the front, making it hard to impossible for the Slavs to retaliate properly, though it would make counter-battery fire less useful. Still, satellite-intel helped with this, helping to predict routes of Slavic MLRS and mobile artillery systems.
Most vehicles in range were the tank- and IFV-brigades, Puma IFVs to be exact, which had been up-armoured for a minor loss in speed.
When the artillery-barrages came down, they hit...little. There were only some thousand men along the entire border, the first five kilometres, to be exact. These were the saturated areas, and even here, some scouts managed to survive by using caves, slopes and in one case, forest-cover to protect themselves. The fuel-air explosives that began burning the forests would make it hell for any Slavs to cross these territories. With war being on the border, no fire-fighters would come to end the fires.

When the offensive itself began shortly after the bombardment, 600,000 Germans and 40 tank divisions (each with 100 tanks) with supporting brigades and divisions such as artillery, SAM etcetera were ready. Numbers-wise, they were almost equal. only not, because the Communists had roughly 12,000 artillery systems in total.
In technology, the Germans had more than the upper hand. In terrain, the Germans had the upper hand, for they knew it well and could use choke points and the burning forests to their advantage.
Helicopters would make low-flying hit-and-run strikes, firing only one or two AT-missiles and then getting away from enemy forces already while re-stationed bombers launched heavy missiles at artillery- and supply-assets of the enemy. Multi-role fighters would make CAS-runs on tanks soon after they were over the border while interceptors stayed on stand-by to, well, intercept any enemy plane coming even close to the border. Their missiles, supported by AWACS far away and high up, were capable of engaging multiple targets over a range of up to and more than 100 kilometres.
After breaking from the raging fires, the Slavs would be set upon by powerful tanks with ranges from 10 kilometres and more, while MLRS and artillery systems fired a variety of munitions, amongst them cluster- and incendiary munitions. Infantry was dug in and set up with AT-, AA- and other such equipment, a single squads theoretically capable of taking out at least two helicopters and up to five tanks all on their own - proper surprise and such required, of course.
For FUSR-tanks, ERA armour and radar-guided mini-cannons provided further protection from enemy projectiles, most notably easily destroyed AT-missiles or -rockets.

Any Slavic air-assets coming close to the border were set upon by interceptors and SAM vehicles, simple as that. Payload and the like would vary according to threat, but in the end, this part was relatively simple.

On the sea, FUSR ships had already left the Adriatic many hours before, meeting up with their comrades in the central Mediterranean, far away from any Greek or Slavic naval forces. They were most likely well out of range of any ship-killers and even then, these ships were taking a relatively random zig-zag course, to prevent kinetic killers from hitting them.
With a range of 700 kilometres while retaining great accuracy (less than 10 meters deviation) and 1,200 kilometres with lesser accuracy (approximately 50 meters deviation), the battleships of the FUSR had an incredible advantage: These ships could feasibly bombard Budapest from nearby Sardinia, using the entire Italian peninsula as protection against enemy strikes.
As none of the Slavic missiles had a range of above 600 kilometres, not a single one of them would hit the fleet that was near Sardinia, but out of the Italian's restricted waters, in international waters.

"People of the world!"
Pictures of burning German forests were shown, the small fuel-air missiles coming down from beyond the Slav border.
"The Slavic Federation is destroying incredible nature to facilitate their war! They are annihilating parts of our very ecosphere just to sate their blood-lust! Are these the people you would want to side with? People who destroy ecosystems to get at their enemy? People who drive their own men through the flames, killing many through the sheer heat?
But that isn't all! They have fired satellite-killer missiles up into space, attempting to hit our sats, but not only endangering civilian and unaffiliated satellites, but most likely destroying some as well!
Are these your friends? Can such people even be called friends, with such a rampant disregard for nature and neutral assets?

And the Martencists! Their leader, Ratsherr Martens promised that he would wipe us out! Do you know how many people live in this nation? Almost 120 million.
Yes, that's right. Martens approves of killing tens of millions people just because they have an ideology too different from his! How is this any different from religious or ethnic persecution?
IT ISN'T!
I call to all people of the world! Help us stop these maniacs, who wish to utterly annihilate millions of people.

I call to all those who previously held treaties with the GDR, before they were forced by the Martencists to eliminate them: Help us in this struggle.
I call to Slavorussia, a former ally of the GDR, help us.
I call to Lübeck, a former ally, help us.
I call to the Republic of Finland, overcome your communist hate! See the real enemy, help us.
I call to Norway, stop the neutrality. Work with Finland, help us.
I call to the Athenian Federation, who once held an ODP with the GDR: Help us.
I call to the PEPTO, help us.
I call to Cochin, who the GDR held an MDP with: Help us.
I call to Carthage. who were a loyal ally of the GDR: Help us.
I also call to France, renew your strength! Show the world that it was you who first saw the evil of the new Martencism in this time, of a nation willing to kill millions because of petty differences!
And I call to the Holy American Empire. You, who have been faithful allies to the GDR, who were forced to end the alliance with you. Help us, and we shall forge an alliance that will last until the end of this world!
Last, I call to the rest of the world: Help us in this struggle. Show everyone else that you are willing to end those who would commit genocide for their twisted, sick ideology, those who would destroy wonders of the world to kill a few hostile soldiers. Do you wish to be bound by treaties to nations such as this?

We may be communists. But we are not the enemy.
Thank you."

*A private missive to the VDL*

"Despite the many allies you have brought, you'll eventually run out of supplies for the GDR's technology. We have production plants for these things.
Thus, the FUSR proposes the following to you:

- The VDL acknowledges the sovereignity of the FUSR.
- The VDL guarantees the independence of the FUSR.
- The VDL gives territorial concessions as follows:

- The VDL agrees to disarm the technology it has acquired from the former GDR (not that it could be maintained)
- The VDL makes a public apology to the FUSR for its oppression and attempts to kill millions of people.
- The FUSR makes war-reparations to infrastructure damaged or destroyed in the civil war. This includes the VDL, Finland and the Slavic Federation.

If you do not accept, we may continue this war until we run out of men."

June 12th
Cyprus

Lavo Shalam paced in front of room, thinking. At the table in front of him were the heads of the air force, navy, army, and the ministers of war and foreign affairs.

"So lemme get this straight..." The PM started.

"Germany's in a full blown civil war right now, with the sides basically being the Red Rebels versus the Northern Germans who are fighting off a French invasion?"

"This is correct sir."

"Seems Germany really has it in for themselves this time. *Sigh*" Lavo paused for a moment, grabbing his head in frustration.

"If I can make a recommendation..." The MoW said. "...I strongly suggest that we send all of our forces to the southern front. The French are indeed an issue, however, the Stalinists in the south pose an even greater threat, seeing as they are flat out more powerful and threaten the territorial integrity of the entity of Germany."

"That makes sense, but how do you suggest we get our forces up there? I can say with absolute certainty that sea routes aren't an option, as they are filled to the brim with conflict." Began the naval officer.

"Air doesn't work either, the RAF's going to have to move all our forces to the front asap if we are going to enter." Piped the flyboy.

"It's fairly simple actually... Send them over land through the Slavs and the Athenians. The Slavs have high-speed trains while the Athenians are extremely direct." Mr. Hazzan said.

"Alright, that sounds good to me. We should send out our forces a-sap." Concluded the PM.

Then the thus far silent land lover stood up and addressed the room. "Look at the situation. Seriously, give it a damned good look. This is third time the Bavarian and Austrian area is seeing #&%! hit the fan, and now the Austrians are stronger than ever. Even with the large coalition aiding the North, it isn't enough. We need to send more troops, I'd say another 300 000, to bring us up to a million."

The room fell silent. A minute later, Shalam addressed the man. "You are right as always General. We can deploy the current troops who are mobilized, and send up a ton of units from around the country. Thankfully, we have a connection to the Slavs via the Caucus region, so many of the troops can board trains from there and make their way to the front. Before we call a vote and dismiss this meeting, are there any other suggestions?"

"Yes. I propose before we deploy the troops, that we send up 30 Vipers, in various parts in the country, equipped with Thunderstrike missiles to hit the Rebels. Fifteen of these missiles will be launched specifically at the naval ports in the south, such as Koper. If there's overlap, that's alright, as killing their ports will ensure that they cannot porperly maintain and supply their fleets, leaving them wide open to attacks from the RN, Slavs, and Athenians." Piped the air general.

"Sounds good. All in favor of entering the German Civil War on the side of the government, increasing our ground deployment by 300 000 soldiers, and authorizing and carrying out Thunderstrike launches immediately raise their hands now."

All those present raised their hands as high as they could, and the meeting was dismissed. Calls using secure ground/sea lines were done immediately, in order to keep everything flowing as planned.

Various airfields near the RA coast.

*At AFB Palmachim*

Shimon hung up the phone and promptly got himself suited up and rushed to the awaiting Viper on the tarmac. It was currently being fitted with a Thunderstrike, one of thirty in various locations in the RA.

The man was a veteran and senior officer of the RAF, his service dating all the way back to the tense months before the Balkan War, and having served with distinction during the immediate post-war era, having indirectly saved thousands through his reconnaissance missions. This mission, while seemingly easy, would be a crucial one, whose outcome would have a massive influence on the ongoing war. He quickly got into his Viper and hastily did all his pre-flight checks, seeing it good to go. Getting the engines warmed up, with the brakes still on, Shimon turned on his radio.

"This is Viper #0462 requesting clearance, over."

"This is Palmachim ATC, #0462, you are clear for takeoff, over."

"Rodger that ATC, over and out."

With clearance granted, he turned off the brakes, and made his way to the runway. Getting there, the veteran increased his throttle, getting a good launch speed and headed up into the air. After taking in his landing gear and getting his target and missile launch data right, he slapped on the Viper's afterburners, quickly accelerating to his top speed of mach 2.5.

Using his supersonic speed, the pilot got his craft up to 50 000 feet rather quick, and it was at that point that the Thunderstrike was launched.

After starting it's engines, the Thunderstrike got up to 40 000 feet and speeds in excess of mach 4.8 in mere seconds. Merely seconds after that, it reached 60 000 feet, dropping it's first stage rocket booster and switching to it's main scramjet engine. From there, it's altitude increased further, and eventually reached a speed of nearly mach 7, speeding towards it's target. The time from launch to strike would be mere minutes, leaving the unfortunate target little time to respond.

Of the total thirty missiles launched, all of them in the same manner as Shimon's, fifteen would strike at the Stalinist ports in the south, three of them hitting the docks and ports of Koper alone. The other dozen would hit any and all other military ports and naval bases, overlapping targets not being uncommon, as long as the target was hit.

The second half of the deadly slavo would purely target high-profile military airbases and SAM sites, nine and six respectfully.

8:35 AM
June 12th

The Minister of Foreign Affairs walked up to the podium and began his address. In it, he announced Rebel Army's support of Germany, recognizing that the current situation in the area had activated the VDL-RA Mutual Defense Pact.

Rebel Army, Middle East

Throughout the country, 300 000 troops were mobilized to join their 700 000 other comrades, to be deployed to parts unknown. Meanwhile, the already mobilized ground forces would make their way through the Athenian and Slavic Federations to the front, making use of high-speed railways in both nations and the RA itself. The RAF would begin deploying its squadrons to forward air bases in Slavic Hungary and Bohemia. Satellites would be used to check the damage done to the naval ports and bases in the south. One squadron of Arrows would be deployed to the Slavic Federation immediately, encase the need for real-time reccie missions arises. The RN's subs were sent to sea, they would travel in small packs of two or three, monitoring the Med for Stalinist ships, attacking "easy kills" when possible, but otherwise just scouting and tracking, being as quiet and stealthy as possible.

Rebel Army, Middle East

The additional 300 000 troops were finally ready, and shipped out to the front in the same manner as the previous deployments. The RAF had also made great progress in its deployments, with the majority of the to-be deployed forces in their air.

Occam's Razor persists to keep the complicated within the realms of simplicity, and so Zemunda, Lord Prefect of the United Mechodamian States, had to render a decision effective for the situation. Berated by the taunts of genocidal homicide and homicidal corruption labeled throughout the history of the country, the Prefect knew what needed to be done. Having gone through the political exercise of near-successful national obliteration of the immunization-lacking countries, of whom are taken advantage of during times of strife, the result was clear: the United Mechodamian States would march to war, despite a revolution lingering on the opal horizon.

A secure and private message was sent to the FUSA via encrypted letter, though it was purposely left sitting in cyberspace so that it could be found by others. There was nothing to hide, and masking the nation's intent would have been futile as all ends are revealed in some form of opaque square plastered on a pristine mirror.
To the FUSR,

Your distress call has been sent out, and we sit here, in the United Mechodamian States, baffled at what we are seeing. Simply tell us how and where we are needed, and you will have just that. We have four hundred thousand soldiers ready and able to be sent to your lines, accompanied by 2,300 tanks and their due complements. Sixty air squadrons from across the country will be allocated to this front, along with an additional 2,000 artillery pieces consisting of, but not limited to, 120 mm cannons and other battery-based weaponry. Our naval yards will be prepped immediately to also exercise naval defense and protocol, allowing our forty available ships to be at your service. The United Mechodamian States empathizes with your current state and we will do something about it.

Sincerely,

Sovereign and Lord Prefect of the United Mechodamian States,
Zemunda St. George

"Callin, execute order 83294; begin the immediate mobilization of high alert soldiers to designated 'locus' points. Air squadrons will immediately embark ahead of the naval operation toward southern Europe to wherever they are needed. We will send bursts of 40,000 soldiers in both military and civilian naval craft. Each 40,000 burst will be complemented by an equally proportion of tanks and artillery pieces. Likewise, humanitarian ships are also to be escorted by the RMN First Fleet as to relieve the civilian burden off of the German citizens," commanded St. George as he stared at a digital map display at the forefront of his office. Sitting in front of the screen sat the highest UMS military officers as well, all of whom vigorously read over their manila folder files.

"God Speed gentlemen. The time for idle chat and mute posturing is over; morals and ethics are what need to guide us now, and we must be vigilant and clear should we attain victory for the pestilence-betrothed. Simond, get into contact with France as well as her allies in this war against the VDR; we need to be as effective as possible in this front."
June 14th 10:15 AM CEST

A message was sent out to France and her allies currently engaged in the war:
To France and her engaged allies,

We, the United Mechodamian States, intend to enter this war on behalf of the collapsed state of the former GDR, present FUSR. We cannot stand idle and watch the VDR act with such heinous disregard and we send this letter of intent to prove our dedication to the freedoms of mankind. We are requesting a quorum to meet with you, France and said allies, as a means to attain a peaceful resolution for the civilians of the FUSR. Much is at stake and cooperation mustn't be vacuumed; we patiently await your reply as we mobilize our forces promptly.

Sincerely,

The Patriarchy of Foreign Affairs of the United Mechodamian States
A message was also sent to the Rebel Army in light of their recent announcement to band against the state of FUSR:
To the Rebel Army,

The United Mechodamian States is currently en route to assisting the FUSR in their complete liberation in light of the atrocities committed by the VDR. However, with your announcement to become involved, and our treaty obligations, we do not want to clash swords with our own allies; we have shed blood together for the sake of a better Africa and we do not ever take this for granted. However, we cannot sit by and not heed the cry from the citizens of the FUSR; they are neither fascists nor despots. We only intend to protect their humanist rights and, as previously stated, we do not want to fight our own allies and friends. If we could meet immediately, this matter can be resolved.

Sincerely,
Zemunda St. George

9:00 PM
Imperial War Cabinet

The Slavorussian declaration was shown directly on the screen in the IWC, it had been expected and prepared for. By now Isabella and Anna were back in Athens, the only thing left was the official cancellation. As such the press room was prepared again, a lot was needed to make the Empress still look as awake as normal as the days without sleep had had their effect. The statement would be transmitted throughout the world.

“It is with great sadness that Athens has received information about the Slavorussian aggression against our friend and ally France. In times like these a country has to make a decision, on one side we have the European Cooperation Organization and on the other side the Mediterranean Economic and Military Union. Luckily the decision is not a hard one to make. We hereby consider Slavorussia in violation of the trust we placed in them when we signed ECO and as such announce our immediate withdrawal from the pact however we will honor 120 hours of non-aggression. Any Slavorussian ship will be banned from the Aegean Sea and all other territorial waters of the Athenian Federation. That will be all.”

She walked away from the press room into the meeting room, by now Imperial Command was talking about what to do after the 120 hours, Nikita knew one thing for sure however. She had to get out of this complex or she would go crazy as such she walked to the main entrance and exit of the complex. Going through the tests to make sure she didn’t take any sensitive documents with her she was escorted back up. Once there a car had already been arranged with security from the Imperial Guard, she stepped into the back of the limousine and closed the door.

“Take me to the Parthenon”

The driver nodded and the car left escorted by 2 cars from the Imperial Guard. If she ever needed spiritual guidance this sure was it. After driving for what seemed ages the car arrived at the Parthenon. At this time only the cult was present in the great temple so she had all the privacy she needed. Nikita stepped out of the car and was immediately flanked by guards.

“I will go in alone, guard the area. Do not disturb me under any circumstance”

She walked inside and immediately went for the temple. Looking at the statue of the great goddess Athena she kneeled down.

“I do not know if you hear me but I need your help, my people are in war, my friends are divided and I have to make a decision. Please grant me your wisdom.”

It was obvious the sleep deprivation were affecting her judgment, her political opponents would even consider it a reason to declare her insane. The Parthenon had a positive effect on her, for the first time in days she felt at ease. After a few minutes she rose again and walked outside however there was no one there. The entirety of Athens was black, the buildings were there but there was no life.

“Hello?”Nikita asked a bit amazed.

“Is someone there?”she screamed as loud as she could but there was no response, immediately she ran away from the Acropolis. All of a sudden she saw a light in the sky coming down, after narrowing her eyes she saw a woman in it, she looked up amazed.

“My child, you have called for me?”

Nikita nodded and kneeled down.

“The Russians our former allies have attacked the French, another ally. At the same time Athens is fighting on several fronts against people from different sides. I don’t know what I must do”

The woman smiled and suddenly the surroundings changed, she saw Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Athens. As if she was all over the world at the same time, in the end she saw a dove and an owl.

“Do not look at the countries, look at the people. Guide your people with your wisdom and your heart, the answer lies within.”

Suddenly Nikita saw the ground of the Parthenon, a few guards were next to her.

“Empress are you alright?”

Nikita looked up angry.

“I had told you not to disturb me!”

She ran outside, everything was normal again. She must have been dreaming however whatever it was that had happened to her she knew what she had to do. She stepped into the car with the guards quickly preparing to escort her.

“Go to the palace” she said as she took the telephone in the car and set up a call with both Jean-Luc and the Athenian ambassador in Berlin.

June 14th

Versailles and Berlin

Almost at the same time the representatives from Athens would be at the respective heads of state of the VDL and France.

“Empress Akhatova would like to invite you to a meeting at a neutral and remote location in the Athenian Federation to commence informal and perhaps even formal talks between France and Germany. She believes a peace agreement should be able to be arranged and is preferred by both sides.”

They would say.

14 June

In the wee hours of the morning, the Taeunas navy found itself at it's hold line, just outsideof French territorial waters in the Atlantic. Aircraft from the two carriers had mounted a standing CAP (ooc: combat air patrol for those that don't know) over the fleet. Dublin stil didn't know what or who was going where, so they had no instructions beyond closing off access to the channel from the Atlantic side. Scotland still had made no announcement or
moves in any direction, but communications were open.

0800
In Dublin, DeSchaine waited on news from the fronts. Reports were scattered at best, and confused at the worst. Not one reply had come in from his messages
to the nations involved, which cemented his view of the continent being nothing more than bloodthirsty war mongers. In his frustration, he personally composed a letter to Therese and sent his roving ambassador, Etain Connolly, to deliver it. It read:

Therese,

just how far do you intend to go with this?

Christos

Another letter, worded much the same way, was dispatched to Finland. Being the only nations Taeunas had any real contact with, maybe they would be able to give him the needed push to choose a side in the conflict.

SIC:

Grand Fleet Admiral Arsen N. Sevan, SFN, EASTCOMNAV, overall commander of the Slavic Eastern Command's Naval Fleet, was standing in his office, viewing a map of the Mediterranean and all other nearby seas that was laid out on his desk, a look of annoyance sketched clearly across his face. He'd had to scrap plans twice already, after modifying those plans multiple times. Now he had been told his request for a half dozen frigates had been delayed, and he had to deploy his fleet without waiting for them. He remembered the conversation quite clearly...

"Admiral Sevan, sir?" a naval captain had asked tentatively, poking his head in through the door.
Sevan looked up. "Ah, Captain Nazar, I was told to expect you. What's so important they won't send it over the airwaves?"
"An Eyes Only message, addressed to, Grand Fleet Admiral Sevan, sir," Captain Nazar replied after saluting. He had a piece of the teletype paper used by the Supreme Commander of the Eastern General HQ clenched in his hand. Sevan gestured for him to hand it over, and Nazar did so.
0843, June 13, 20XX
Slavic Eastern Command
EYES ONLY: Grand Fleet Admiral Arsen N. Sevan, SFN, EASTCOMNAV
Sub: Orders for EASTCOMNAV

START
Regarding the request for six Admiral Ushukov-class frigates, regret to inform you that immediate deployment is not currently possible.
STOP

Orders issued for EASTCOMNAV. Depart for Mediterranean as quickly as possible.
STOP

Do not wait for completion of Admiral Ushukov-class frigates.
STOP

Rendezvous with Western Command Fleet in Adriatic Sea.
STOP

Do not engage until ordered.
STOP

Signed,
Supreme Commander Isaak T. Radoslav, SFGF, EASTCOM

END MSG
Admiral Sevan had been massively irritated at the time, issuing a five minute rant to Captain Nazar about how 'that stupid ground force !@#$%^&' was 'jeopardizing Eastern Command with sheer incompetence and ignorance regarding naval affairs.' Nazar, listening and at attention, decided it wouldn't be a good idea to remind the enraged admiral that Supreme Commander Radoslav had served six years in the Caucasian and Slavic navies before joining the ground forces.

Presently, Admiral Sevan had plotted the best course for the Eastern Command navy to take. The fleet would travel in six carrier groups, traveling together, but refueling and supplying at different ports so as not to tax their allies' and their own resources at one port too much, returning to a predetermined point after each stop. Sevan knew the refueling would not be necessary, but he'd rather not have to pull out in the midst of an extended battle to refuel one of his carrier groups.

Orders were sent out, and the entirety of the Eastern Command Naval Fleet set out from the port of Odessa, bound for the coast of Serbia.

"Neutral assets. Satellites which are a major guidance tool for missiles are now considered neutral assets?" the Chinese Administration's Press Secretary said. "That objection is laughable at best. Renounce the use of Satellites in warfare and do not weaponize space at all including C4 ISR capabilities and you will have a real argument. In regards to destroying nature. Nature unfortunately gets destroyed in war, but the fault is with those who started the war. Yours. A rebellion against the central government, not in those defending their allies. The only legitimate government of Germany is that of the VDL Central Government in Berlin.

The only Government of Southern Germany is the Government agreed to by the German Democratic Republic in this document. This does not include an option for secession or cancellation. The nations of the world which you would claim should have loyalty to you, should have loyalty to the government which they signed the documents with, that government now resides in Berlin. Your organization is a violent rebellion against the very government your leaders of their own free will entered into. Those treaties by those leaders own will were made the treaties of a united German State. This is a dream that the Berlin Government of the VDR still fights for with its life.

You fight for Stalinism. Stalinism is an ideology which nearly killed 60 million Chinese in a Great Famine. Our homeland still bears the scars of a Great Leap Forward. To talk about Stalinism, an ideology of totalitarian absolutism organized around a Cult of Personality is a joke. Its a heinous joke, which bastardizes the memory of tens of millions who perished under it. One of your own forbearers said it best about the dangers of Stalinism when it rose in another part of Europe. We ask that you end your Rebellion and allow Austria to continue to be an economically prosperous region rather than become a basket case."

The Tahoe Republic condemns France for violating the territorial integrity of Germany with their unlawful invasion of the Elsass-Lothringen region. Territorial disputes should always be discussed via diplomacy first.

We also condemn the brutal uprising taking place in the southern German states by Stalinists. Josef Stalin was an evil man who committed warcrimes on a vast scale and was directly responsible for the murder of millions as well as inspiring countless atrocities across the world, particularly in Asia. Stalinism has never been a successful sociopolitical or economic policy and we thus can only surmise that this rebellion is being carried out by a tiny minority of the occupied regions of southern Germany as clear thinking, rational individuals, like those that populate Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland and Bavaria, would never be convinced otherwise.

To China:

"We understand your difficult situation and thank you for your support. We understand that you're struggling to honor all of your commitments while violating none.

Since the war is likely to drag on for a long time, we may need materials of all kind. We have large amounts of supplies of all kinds everywhere, but it is likely that if the war continues for long enough we may be eventually in a shortage of the most complex devices such as: Tanks, other armored vehicles, missiles, and aircraft. Right now we have no necessity, however, but the time may come later. We may be interested in acquiring a high-mobility ETC-gunned relatively cheap tank design at a later date. Would you have one such vehicle available?"

To Empress Akhatova:

"If France is interested we will send a Diplomat with full-power over to any such meeting."

"The Southerners are lying. We would not murder them. They're Germans. We're only going to kill the combatants - not the population itself. Mass murdering our OWN population would be a rather idiotic move. Only those who throw lead will receive lead."

At that, when the aerial battle was going on, and when the Red Air thought that it was going to easily outnumber the German Airforce by a large margin, the reserves - 80 fighter squadrons came in to inflict more damage and additionally to prevent further stealth planes from making it through. Both sides had for the most part the same technology, so for both sides, stealth was not exactly stealthy. The AA was similar, the German AA - for the most part SAM sides and otherwise similar long range rockets mounted on older Leopard 2 chassis - started to fire upwards against the Red Air. While it was truthful that the German Airforce would likely sustain casualties from the Red AA, it worked exactly in the same way for the German AA. It was like two giants bumping heads right on - both would be hurt no matter what.

In the next ten minutes, something spectacular happened. Northern Germany, from different places - including Iceland and Nordheim - coordinated a massive non-nuclear missile strike against the Red Army. There were all kinds of missiles: The majority of those launched from the Mainland were short range, cheap Cruise Missiles. Those launched from the other locations were in some cases even ICBMs, and a few of them were FOAB and MOAB classes. All in all, 750 missiles were shot so that they would arrive Southern Germany at approximately the same time.

The targets were the static AA defences of the Red Air and the most important industrial centers of the country. Since the Southerners had attempted to send Stealth fighters to target North German industry, it was decided to deploy the majority of the Rocket Forces all at once to return the favor. Tank factories and Aircraft factories would be first targetted, then factories which made Ammunition and infantry-related items, as well as Artillery. Facilities used to create Medical Aid items and food-related items however were not attacked, for obvious reasons: They would probably cause civilian starvation if destroyed. Northern Germany did not care if the Southerners may well return the rocketry favor to them - what they wanted to do was destroying the Red Beast with its iron Wings and Legs.

The private missive from the Red Army to the VDL was brief, consisted of two words, and cannot and should not really be reproduced publically.

OOC: The rest of my IC reply to the south front is pending to the solving of the matters I posed about on the OOC thread. I'll reply to the French front anyway, however.
