lobam
When you look at my Nations Charts Here While hovering over Soldiers in the Population graph it shows that i currently have 15.64% of my Citizen count Which is 9,600 Soldiers . Now Hover over my Citizens it shows i have 51,771 are 84.36%. Now If I'm not Mistaken 51,771 x 15.64% = 8,096.9844 a difference of 1,503.0156 Soldiers. Now if i go Here the Military Simulator says i have a soldier count of 23.2% of my Population. Now 51,771 x 23.2% = 12,010.872 a difference of 2,410.872 Solders When actually I have like on avg 18.5% Soldier count. Either My Math's wrong are There's a bug in the way that the game is calculating the solider count each nation should have. Yes i do have 51,771 Citizens so i should have a Min of 10354.2 Soldiers According to the Math equation 51,771 x 20% = 10354.2 Nw i know the Game rounds for Display & coding purposes but What number is the game rounding to? Is this a Bug are the way Admin wants the Game to be
Golan 1st
I believe that you don't read the data right. You have 9,600 soldiers with efficiency of 11,923 and 51,771 citizens. when you look at the chart at the nation statistics page, it shows it as a percent of total population (soldiers and citizens) and indeed 9,600 / (9,600 + 51,771) = 0.1564 = 15.64%. In the military simulator, it shows you the percentage of soldier efficiency of citizens (which is what matters for happiness), so it's 11,923 / 51,771 = 0.23 = 23% But your "actual" (actual number, not efficiency) percent of soldiers of your citizens is 9,600 / 51,771 = 18.54% In short, the numbers are correct, but mean different things and there is no bug. Bilrow
What Golan said. The chart is based on Total Population: soldier/total population (citizens+soldiers) = % While for the front page of your nation and for happiness it is: soldier/working citizens = %
Thanks Golan. I never looked at it this way and neither did a few others I had spoke with on this matter and thought maybe there was a bug of some sort . After seeing this explanation I can see that you are right and we have looked at the Information wrong. Mods can close this topic for it has been determined not to be a bug but an oversight. Problem has been solved. Also thanks Bilrow also
