Public Question to Merida

The sudden and rash actions of Neo Tokyo/Japan has left Singapore as a vacuum. Koryo wishes to ask exactly what state Singapore was in before the auction had happened, for there has been accusations of ethnic cleansing. Koryo wishes to fully investigate the situation to decide its actions.

Reply from Merida: This mentioning of ethnic cleansing is only a rumor that should be ignored. Singapore had no permanent residents because the economic opportunities on the Merida mainland made the people move. Whatever was the situation before Merida came to power, it is not the situation right now.

We restate: All the people in Singapore at the time of Merida's founding voluntarily moved to the mainland. There has been no forced deportings or genocides, and we wish everyone would stop saying that Singapore has a significant Chinese/Malaysian population. It is empty, and all other thoughts are just daydreams.

OOC: I'm getting sick of all the headache Singapore is causing me. First with around 15 PMs asking me for the island, and now this. Can't I just be left alone?

OOC: Then why didn't they keep it? It's like backseat driving after you sold the car or something like that. I ask people to stop trying to change what I want for my nation to suit whatever purposes they have. It's not like I suddenly had several millions of people move across the sea like maddy.

OOC: Singapore could still be ceded away without destroying the work they did to rebuild it.

Koryo thanks Merida for its reply.

OOC: People, Tessa said she wants to be left alone, so leave her alone. Let's respect her wishes and her RPs.

If anyone else bothers you, PM me Tessa. I'll take care of it.

Our forces on the ground report differently. Chinese troops have found a large native population, its made up about half Hakka Chinese and half Malays with a healthy community of various Oceanic ex-patriots. These facts on the ground seem to suggest a very different picture than what you say.
