Princess Victoria
Where: CyberNations site When: All day since approximately 10 am. How: I’m wondering how myself. I cleared my cookies and history before I got to CN this morning because I had been having issues with Firefox since last night. I logged in and had everything typed out correct to my knowledge and when it said it couldn’t log me in because of incorrect information, I sent for a temporary password. I waited til now to retrieve it because Yahoo Mail had been taking upwards of an hour and a half to load or more. I typed out my name the right way, then I typed out the temp password, and the captcha before logging in but had the same problem. I'd contemplated this being a connection issue but the 'Sorry, can't login' screen wouldn't have popped up in less than a second or two if it were that. This has me worried even though I was not inactive and my nation is still up. The only possible reasons I can see this happening is either A) I've been hacked (and not a soul except myself knows my password) and B) something's wrong with the system. xenon
Have you tried using a different browser? FF has always been fine with me, but there might be something with it on your comp. that is conflicting with the website.
Princess Victoria
I have tried other browsers and even another computer in addition to FF, which I use most often. If it were the browser, wouldn't I be able to get on the site using a different browser? Why wouldn't I get an error message from the browser if it were messing up? I discussed this with Xallos and brought up the topic of cookies, history, cache, etc. being full. I have been accepting all cookies (even the 3rd party ones) and clear my cache, cookies, and history frequently. Both computers give the same results on the same browsers tested. clous1014
I don't suppose using a proxy browser would help? I'm not the most technically gifted person but this is what I use when websites won't work for me. http://www.opera.com/mobile/demo/

Princess Victoria
Finally unlocked it, but I'm still curious as to why it did this. Edited July 10, 2010 by Princess Victoria
