Ryan Milley
OOC:This was made possible by distorting time, now available to all at the low price of $9.99 . But seriously I'm doing this because of the weak time system. After a period of time of which we and Vauleo-Buryatia have had embassies with each other, The Alaskan Union suggests we sign a treaty. For the benefit of the two Arctic nations, I propose a PIAT. This should suffice.
Article I: Sovereignty Both signatories shall retain their sovereignty and shall not take any action, directly or indirectly, that would threaten the sovereignty of the other signatory. Article II: Peace Neither alliance shall engage or endorse military action against the other signatory. If a member nation of either signatory alliance is found to have done this, they will be required to offer peace and/or reparations equivalent to the total damages inflicted. Should an offending nation refuse to offer peace and fulfill the terms of reparations determined by this pact, offending nation will be declared a rogue by their respective alliance and handled according to the policies of the victim's alliance. In addition, neither alliance will engage or endorse espionage against the other. Article III: Friendship The memberships of both signatory alliances shall do their utmost to remain civil to each other at all times, especially in public forums and IRC. Article IV: Intelligence Sharing If either alliance receives information concerning a direct threat to the other, the receiving alliance will notify the other signatory and provide the relevant information within 24 hours. The source of said information may remain private. Article V: Voluntary Assistance in Times of Need Should either signatory find themselves war, members of the other signatory may provide assistance. Article VI: Termination If either signatory wishes to withdraw from this treaty for any reason, they must inform the other 72 hours in advance where the treaty shall still remain active until the closure of the aforementioned period. Imperator Azenquor
A Vauleyo-Buryatian Diplomat is sent from the Embassy to meet with the government of the Alaskan Union. Once the diplomat arrives at the meeting and introduces himself, he pulls out a modified copy of the treaty and places it on the table. "The government of Vauleyo-Buryatia, while appreciating the nature of the original treaty, submits the following revision of the proposed treaty that we feel is more compatible with the positions of our government. After a careful review of the treaty presented, we have made the following revisions: Modifications to Articles I,II,III,IV,VI; Elimination of Article V. If the current draft text is approved by the government of the Alaskan Union, then I have been given the express approval to sign the document for Vauleyo-Buryatia."
Article I: Sovereignty Both signatories shall retain their sovereignty and shall not take any action, directly or indirectly, that would threaten the sovereignty or territorial integrity of the other signatory.
