It's not responding to chemotherapy, so I'm probably going to have to get a bone marrow transplant in a few weeks. That's got a decent chance of killing me. I don't care if you laugh at me, make fun of me or say "lol" all you want. And I'm the person with the cancer, first hand! Laugh away. I've heard several times of people responding to a "your mom" joke with "my mom is dead", when it is sadly not true.
