The Mushir, now that his term as Chief of Staff has ended, is now in charge of the command of the East Asian Defense Command. He has been living in the USC for some time now due to this new assignment, and has had the moving expenses paid for his wife and family to move over to the USC while on assignment. While eating dinner, he received a call from James asking him to hold a meeting with the leader of USC for the procurement of a new base in East Asia.

The Mushir said "I'll schedule it for this week James." James said thanks and hung up the phone. Saleh finished dinner, did his nightly routine and went to bed. The next morning, he called the President of the USC to begin the discussions for a base in East Asia. He knew what was needed of such a base and was prepared for the meeting.


"Hello Mr. President, this is Mushir Saleh Al-Muhaya. I am calling to request a meeting in regards to a Novakian base in East Asia. We would like to lease or purchase land from the USC to build an Air and Naval Base to easily allow us to defend our allies and interests in the East Asian region."

X thought for a moment, then said. "We would like to offer you basing rights in Weizhou Island. We've been meaning to build the Island out more. If the Novakian Military would do it for us we'd find that arrangement most convenient"

"This is more than acceptable. Construction will begin immediately. Thank you Mr. President."

The Mushir ordered the Corp of Engineers to begin construction of the base, including an underground for submersible watercraft. He also ordered temporary defenses go up to defend the area during the construction period. The Air base should be able to hold Air Control, Fighter, and Combat Communications Wings, among other types of Air Wings. The Naval base should be able to support any Novakian and allied ship seeking to dock at her pier, support a deperming station and maintain general medical clinics and other luxuries to Novakian airmen and seamen.
