Kevin Kingswell
With the fall of the People's Republic of China the nearby province of Thailand which was under their protection is now no longer so. Therefore as of now The Imperium places a claim on the province of Thailand and will take the territory into our own. With no expected resistance we feel that this will be able to proceed without any bloodshed however, just in case military forces are being sent into the province as security. Two assault forces were prepared to enter the province of Thailand. Assault Force Alpha located in the North consisted of fourty five thousand soldiers along with two hundred main battle tanks accompanied by small numbers of infantry fighting vehicles and artillery units. Assault Force Bravo to the South again consisted of fourty five thousand soldiers and two hundred main battle tanks with the same accompanying units that Alpha has however, Bravo also has twenty light helicopter gunships to assist it. Using the cover of the night the two forces both began moving at full speed once the clock reached 00:10 using the roads to quickly cover the distance needed. With no air support avaliable, due to the fact that the few units that had been built were not fueled or armed, the men knew that if they did run into trouble they would be on their own and thus they had to reach their objectives quickly. Zoot Zoot
The Imperium of Canada begs to ask the Imperium, how do your actions differ from Frances? Whilst your motives are noble and not an act of agression and war, you could have simply placed it under Protectorate, and yet you annex the land directly, and you call out the French Empire for Imperialism...
We did not call out the French for Imperialism we call them out for claiming that they invaded to help them, we however, are annexing Thailand for our own gains which in the meantime will also help those living in Thailand. Zoot Zoot
And yet you show no cultural ties with the Thai people, or historical. But you also admit to annexing Thailand "for your own gains", which is blatant Imperialism. The Canadian Empire isnt against Imperialism, but to jump into a former Nations protectorate so swiftly? Would you jump in a grave as fast?
Yes we would and as for no ties the last nation that used to be here, Acca Dacca, eventually became one of our good allies and when they fell we had hoped to help them by taking them into our nation. The PRC however, took over and with them now having lost control of it we once again take up the cause of our allies and by taking them into our territory we can look after the people and gain advantages for ourself. Executive Minister
"We applaud the Imperium for its bravado. Finally, a regime that is not afraid of who and what it is and is also unafraid to speak of it. Many would do well to follow your example."

Kevin Kingswell
The commanders of Assault Force Alpha and Bravo were suddenly given new orders and both Assault Forces quickly ground to halt before smartly turning about and heading back towards The Imperium. No reason was given for these orders and none was asked for, instead all troops loyally carried out thier orders. It didn't take much time before all Imperium troops were out of the Thailand province. Out of all the troops that had returned most returned to their bases whilst a small amount of soldiers and armoured fighting vehicles reinforced the border. Subtleknifewielder
***Private*** "...That's all it took?" Hannah chuckled. "You're too timid sometimes, Anthony. Oftentimes all that is needed is a show of force." Privately he wondered if that had had anything to do with the retreat, but he kept his thoughts to himself. But he did send a letter to the Emperor. "If this was due to a misunderstanding on the part of the Queendom, I would like to apologize both for myself, and on behalf of the Queen. In any case, I am glad this was resolved without blooshed." ~Anthony Harlem, Grand Duke, Queendom of Australia
