Elrich von Richt
Empress Ange Ushiromiya's coronation had been an obscure one little more than a week before, and had happened so suddenly. As a child, she had been raised to carry a stoic, blank demeanor on her face by her father, and had kept it to the modern day. Despite being twenty-one, the teachings of her father (and family) still hung over her head and served to sometimes motivate her forward. Understanding some aspects of economics from the family business only served to drive her forward and give her a better handle over the government than Haruhi, less experienced in the real world than herself, had. Upon discussing the options with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, she began to consider state visitations. Haruhi, in the latter half of her reign, never set foot outside of the Home Islands (sometimes limiting herself to Honshu). This progressive isolationism from society, her people, her nation, and the world made it gradually harder for Japan to communicate with the outside world beyond the Eastern Hemisphere, and the stress eventually got to her and led to her abdication. Ange decided she would be stern, and a be a leader of action. Dabbling with false promises, empty wishes and dreams, was something she couldn't do. Haruhi had unified Japan geographically and politically, now it was up to her to do the clean-up and gain back the faith and adoration of the people. Upon surveying the list of places that would be preferable for a visit at the time, she decided to choose a nation with which Japan held meager to non-existant contact with: Vauleyo-Buryatia. The nation had once been a decent friend to the Haruhiist Empire, and it's political successors up until Etania came to exist. She opted to remove this long period of silence, inactive political cooperation and friendship, and lack of diplomatic ties. Haruhi had been a fool with diplomacy, she wouldn't allow herself to make the same mistakes. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office in Tokyo-to thus contacted the Buryatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Empress Ushiromiya's half, and arranged flight times, schedules, and the meeting destination. The location: Sygh-Varthys.
Imperator Azenquor
The Vauleyo-Buryatian Diplomatic Corps replied to the request by providing landing information for the Sygh-Varthys International Airport as well as instructions for contacting Air Traffic Control upon approaching Vauleyo-Buryatian Airspace. The reply also contained a mandatory route to be followed by Empress Ushiromiya's aircraft upon entry into Vauleyo-Buryatian Airspace. The diplomatic message also included a request that the meeting be held on the 23rd of May at 2:27pm at the Imperial Palace in Sygh-Varthys. Immediately after the message was sent to Japan, the Diplomatic Corps began to make security preparations .
Elrich von Richt
The aircraft crew understood the security restrictions put on them and followed the landing information and instructions, along with the route, down to the letter. While they began to land, the Empress made her final preparations and straightened her outfit a little bit. Looking shoddy on the first state visit Japan had made in a long time would leave a lasting impression. Although it didn't really matter much, she still put a little thought into it. The stoic expression on her face remained as always as the plane began land and the skidding of touching the runway could be heard. They informed traffic control from the air before they landed, and made sure to let them know they had just touched down, as procedure normally would dictate beyond the preset procedures. The door to the aircraft opened, and she stepped out.

As the honor guard saluted, Deputy President Ourumov greeted the Empress: "Empress Ushiromiya, allow me to be the first to welcome you to Vauleyo-Buryatia."-Ourumov While the Deputy President greeted the Empress, three armored limousines drove onto the tarmac, stopping near to the Empress' aircraft. "If you are ready, we have arranged transportation to the Imperial Palace"-Ourumov replied gesturing towards the waiting limousines. Elrich von Richt
As the Empress stepped out of the aircraft, she beheld a wondrous site. The military honor guard greeted her, and she met immediately with one of the government officials of Vauleyo-Buryatia. As he greeted her, she bowed politely and nodded. While she was the ruler of her own nation, she was currently visiting another and manners, especially, could not be forgotten in this situation. As she saw the armored entourage pull up she then heard Ourumov (the man who had greeted her) ask if she was ready for transportation to the palace. With a stern nod, she then replied "Yes, as ready as I'll ever be." Edited May 29, 2010 by Elrich von Richt

Imperator Azenquor
Deputy President Ourumov led the Empress to the waiting cars which took off immediately for the Imperial Palace. As soon as the convoy departed, the Vauleyo-Buryatian Diplomatic Corps informed the Imperial Staff that the Empress was on her way. The staff made a few last minute touches to the conference room in the Palace and informed the Imperator that his guest would soon arrive at the Palace. Ahead of schedule, a second honor guard, consisting of troops from the Organization of the Zodiac waited to welcome Empress Ushiromiya to the Imperial Palace. Once the Empress arrived she would be ushered into the conference room on the second floor of the Palace where the Imperator would be waiting to greet her.
