Signatories on this treaty will participate in any war in which another signatory is called to defend their sovereign territory. They will assist the signatory in the defense of their domain. Any attack initiated by an outside aggressor, where an attack is defined as a military strike in the form of any military grade ordinance release upon sovereign property or territory of the defending signatory, activates this treaty. 2. Signatories will share intelligence of any threat pertaining to any other signatory. 3. Signatories of this treaty agree to link first-warning and military intelligence data sharing systems in such a manner where the individual sovereignty of each system is not compromised, but pertinent information is conveyed. 4. Signatories agree to practice the elimination of tariffs, quotas, and the use of free trade practices. This includes a pledge not to manipulate currency valuations, but to allow them to be determined by free-market factors. 5. In response to a full nuclear strike upon the sovereign domain of any signatory, the signatories agree to voluntary participation in MAD doctrine in which all nuclear missiles shall be utilized upon aggressor states until the aggressor state becomes unresponsive. 6. Signatories recognize the value of each other as strategic allies and in the event of war may consider the option of coming to the other ally's defense. It is understood decisions to activate the Aggression portion of this treaty is to be a group decision and will need to be discussed to guarantee any participation of any particular member. If aggressive action proceeds without the proper dialogue to determine the collective choice, then the aggressor nation understands it is acting of its own volition and may not receive the support of the other signatories. Uberstein
The Republic of Finland is amazed that two nations with barely any history or even relations have signed such a binding treaty.
Maelstrom Vortex
"Probably because all the negotiations were being done privately. Besides, we have a common cause. Mutual Defense and a guarantee of the complete annihilation of those who would act aggressive against us." President Caudill observed. "That and free-trade.. it just makes sense." Nuclear weapon testing, intent to expand militarily against the brethren of your own continent, now the signing of co-nuclear treaties on a whim with nations across the sea. We honestly cannot see the logic."

Maelstrom Vortex
"You yourself have said that one cannot control what happens half-a-world away. Right now my priority is my own back yard." President Caudill noted. "Besides, if a people want freedom.. they will fight for it. Our revolution proved that. There are many different forms of freedom; including the freedom to accept a military dictatorship as your sovereign. When we see military dictatorships forcibly killing their own people and suppressing riots.. then we might have a motivation to intervene." Uberstein
"It seems the united states has made the decision between having and supporting freedom or having security and tarnishing the words of freedom and liberty, and have chosen security. Direct action may not be possible, but was it necessary to ally with a military dictatorship known for it's imperialist actions? The United States also seems to be very selective about which nations it even has contact with, we have never received even a memo from your government, nor have we seen relations between your nation and the GDR, nor France, nor Scotland, nor any nation in Europe. What of Africa? Your Asian treaty is with a nation which acts like it owns all of China when there is clearly another sovereign nation there. But then, reviewing the United State's violent, imperialist xenophobic birth, it makes perfect sense that they would ally with violent, imperialist and xenophobic nations." Maelstrom Vortex
"You know.. if you are so upset about not being offered a treaty all you had to do was contact us and present one of your own offering. We are open to discussion with all nations. These simply happen to have been the first we had first contact with. There is no particular order of selection with which we have signed our treaties. In fact how they have been formed thus far are rather arbitrary and based on which diplomats we got in contact with first and whom we liked. That said.. what kind of formal relations would you like?" We are simply commenting on how not only you seem to enter into treaties with no concern for entangling alliances, but also join with nations known for their aggressive manner and xenophobic policies."
