Sargun II
Sup, !@#$%*es? Sup, Sargun? Now that the greetings are done, lemme get to it. Ever since late last year (around Thanksgiving) I've been telling myself that I need to stop playing this, and I've been waiting to find a place to put my nation to retire so that if something ever happened and a friend needed some help or I ever had enough free time I'd be able to stick around and help or do whatever. My initial plan to do this was foiled by OOC issues but now I've made arrangements and come a few months I'll finally be in place. That having been said, I now no longer care about most of what happens and am instead just sticking around in order to have a little fun while I wait to leave. What do I want to do? A nice war. I'm talking about a preplanned canon war that has a set number of players and reasons to why those players are in. I'm talking about a war that doesn't require massive posts (like the Tahoe war) but requires at least a little planning. I want something that's easy to do, easy to understand, fun, and most importantly is canon. I don't want entire nations wiped, I want 15% of land ceded to victors and pseudo-colonies established. I want lasting terms, and most important I want nukes to be used in a way that isn't carpet-bombing and spamming. General info can be found below. Combatants: 8 Non-Combatants: At least 2 Casus belli: Terrorist acts in nation A by group originating from nation B sparks an invasion. Three allies of nation B respond and three allies of nation A respond. OR both nation A and nation B agree to some beginning that involves one invading the other. Before-war plot: An "Emergency Conference on War" is called by a neutral nation. All eight combatants arrive, agree that all troops, etc. should be deployed in either nation A or B (depending on which side they're on) and that the war will be contained. Chemical and biological weapons are banned period, nuclear weapons are banned in and near civilian areas. All combatants agree that a neutral party should provide medical assistance to the wounded. All combatants agree that there will be severe consequences to the nation that violates these terms. War plot: Nation A invades, Nation B responds, Nation B's allies respond, Nation A's allies respond, "Emergency Conference" is called, and soon the war begins. No determined winner yet, no determined terms yet. All sides must be comparatively even, but if lopsided there will be natural events that make it impossible for one side to be completely dominant. RULES: See the before-war plot for IC rules. For OOC rules, the victors must be determined here. Terms must be determined after a victor is determined. Combatants must understand that there must be a conclusion, even if it means a tie. There will be trash talking but no excessive vulgarity. No excessive terms to be suggested in terms of land area. Outcome of war should be a light-medium set of terms. Terms do not need to make sense logically, but must not be harsh. Nation C can receive harsher terms than Nation A, even if it was Nation A who invaded (and this assumes that Nation A is the one who loses). And please, don't bring OOC grievances into this. Make sure the IC sides make sense and that the outcome is a fun time for everybody. RULES 2: If possible, I'd like for all of the participants to agree to multipliers for troops/navy/air force ahead of time, and that we have a general agreement on what constitutes spying, etc., and we create rules to limit missile spamming and the like. This needs to be a fun war. Defending Coalition Nation B: United Kingdoms of Norway and Sweden Ally 1: Finland Ally 2: Ally 3: Attacking Coalition Nation A: Carthage Ally 1: Ally 2: Ally 3: 3rd Party Participants Arbitrator: Centurius Unbiased News Source: King of Cochin Biased News Source 1: Pravus Ingruo Biased News Source 2: Triyun Propaganda Sources: Voodoo, White Cross/related organisations: Maelstrom Vortex, Nation B and Nation A must share a border. Allies must have a legit reason for aiding. As I share only a border with Rebel Army and the UMS and Sudan, my only available option to attack/defend would be Sudan. So unless tidybowlman wants to have a terrorist group in his country attack mine, I cannot be Nation A or B. Because of this, I will wait for people to sign up before inserting myself.
