Islam has recently begun surfacing in Coruscanta. Although most non-Islamic citizens choose to ignore it, some businesses, particularly delis and diners, have begun making changes to accommodate the Islamic followers.

Public DEFCON has been raised to 3 in response to GLP demands for the state of Michigan. Elements of the Shock Army stationed on the GLP border (see CMW&Movements for specific elements) have been mobilized to deal with any possible outbreaks of violence, should it occur.

As a result of the Coruscanta-GLP war, 501st units last night gathered the temporary Parliament members and Kazimir Trentino's Cabinet members and reportedly opened fire on both them and their families. Witnesses from the area reported recording the events on their home cameras before 501st members searched the houses without warrants and destroyed the cameras and confiscated personal computers present in the homes. 501st officers have not given a comment nor condemned the killings. Director Kazimir Trentino has not disclosed any information but has stated that he "had no prior knowledge of the orders" and also states that an investigation would be launched after the war's end.

Units in West GLP have begun surrendering, say Coruscanta military officials. Although the order to surrender has either not been given or not reached the East will remain to be seen, but it is apparent that 501sst units will not be surrendering. There have also been rumors of overthrowing Kazimir Trentino for a more efficient government system, though political analysts say that this is "highly unlikely".

Somewhere in the White House V.P. Johnson was reminding Caudill that Democracy at the point of a sword never works and to let Coruscanta sort things out for themselves. Johnson still made a statement on behalf of Caudill.

"The United States deems Kazimir Trention and his regime a Terrorist Group for the use of nerve gas agents. However, it is not our place to force a people into a particular type of government lead by any set group of leadership. That said, we shall simply continue the raids on Coruscanta, obliterating targets of military, infrastructure, and economic interest so long as they are not civilian in nature.. until such time as the people of Coruscanta purge the war-criminals from their hierarchy. Once this has been done, the bombings will stop. Until then.. there will be no power, no water processing, no grain separation facilities, no oil, no bridges, and no ships in the nation of Coruscanta worth operating. All we ask is you install someone else who isn't going to toss around Sarin like a cheap toy. Preferably someone you like. We wish the people of Coruscanta the best in these trying times."

The United States AF was now ordered to attack the power grid.

Coruscanta forces today have surrendered in the East, marking an end to the Coruscanta-GLP war. Kazimir Trentino has reportedly fled the country, though no reports have confirmed this. Rebuilding has commenced and a new government is being assembled.

Coruscanta, although retaining the former name, has undergone a huge overhaul in terms of politics. Communism is the word of choice among politicians in Kyr'tsad, and already the new government has named the new head of state. Tanya Lettiere has been named Head of State and will oversee all affairs in Coruscanta. She is expected to name her cabinet shortly.

Coruscantan forces have begun to mobilize today under an unknown threat, by the order of Tanya Lettiere. No officials from either the government or the CIA have come forward to explain the reasoning behind this.

In what can be described only as a "horrid, unforgettable and regretful" day, Canadian Empire forces have attacked Coruscanta in an "unprovoked and aggressive" attack. Planes from the Canadian Air Force have begun bombing Coruscantan military holdings, and chaos is everywhere on the frontlines. No further news is available as radio communications have been cut off. Tanya Lettiere has stated that the Coruscantan Army is on it's way to deal with the threat.

The previous broadcast has been denounced by CNN officials and Tanya Lettiere. Tanya states that "Imperium forces have not invaded Coruscanta, and although there were two airplanes shot down, it was because of a training accident, NOT because of a Canadian invasion" and stated that part of Coruscanta will be a joint administration zone between Coruscanta and the Imperium of Canada.
