The Bohovian official warmly smiled "Thank you very much, we like everyone to feel welcome in our country. Welcome to Bohovia"
The official shook hands with Mr. Jackson and they two began walking down the red carpet. When the reached the limo, both leaders were asked to stand beside their nations flag for pictures.

The two entered the limousine and the official informed Mr.Jackson of the upcoming events.

"Mr. Jackson, we are very happy to have you hear in Bohovia and wish you have all but good experiences when you depart. We are currently on are way to the Royal York Hotel, which is located in the middle of the LePage Financial District. You will have plenty of time to get yourself ready for the gathering in the Presidential Palace. The gathering will begin tomorrow at 3pm, the limousine driver will knock on your door at around 2pm, the limousine will take you to the event, and back to the hotel when the event is done at 9pm."

The cars slowly turned of the highway, and a skyscraper appeared seemingly out of nowhere, with the words "Royal York Hotel"

This was the life. Honestly, he didn't understand the near asceticism displayed by most of his people. He sympathized with the frustration Hanseatics must feel whenever interacting with their less exuberent kin in the west. Life was meant to be enjoyed, every moment--a philosophy no doubt prompted in him by his years in the Marine Corps. He grinned widely as they took his picture in front of the flag, and it remained all through the ride in the Limosine.

"I'm glad to be here, Sir..." he relaized he didn't even know the man's name, so he hesitated a moment before continuing. "Wow, that entire building is the hotel? Awesome." He cleared his throat. "You can be sure i'll be ready to go the moment the limosine arrives tomorrow to pick me up."

"My apologies, i forgot to introduce my self. Im Mr. Harper, sir"

"Yes indeed, Royal York Hotel, the tallest hotel in the country, excellent but take your time, there is no rush"

The hotel pulled up to the hotel, and as they both exited out of the car, into the hotel dozens of security officers followed behind them. The two traveled up the elevator, to floor 72, the penthouse suite, and one of the butlers opened the door, upon hearing Mr. Jackson had arrived.

"Hello Sir, Welcome to the Royal York" The butler said "I will be your butler for the evening, if you require anything, i will be in your room, ready to service you at a tap of a button.

"No apologies necessary. And I wouldn't want to be rude by being late to the party... shouldn't be too hard for me to be ready in time. I had to get up a lot earlier than 2PM when I was in the Marines," he confided to Mr. Harper.

And again the treatment made him feel more honored than royalty. The security, the lavish roms...and even a butler. "Thank you, my good man," he said to the butler. "I'll try not to make your job too difficult." He flashed his most charming, boyish grin as he stepped into the room, admiring the accomodations.

A Bohovian representive warmly smile and greeted the Prime Minister.

"Welcome to Bohovia Prime Minister, its great to have you"

The two walked down the red carpet, and arrived at the limo, before entering the two were asked to stand beside their nations flags for pictures.

The limousine driver, opened the door for the two and the both entered the vehicle, where the official would give a briefing to the Prime Minister.

"Mr. Prime Minister, we are very happy to have you here in Bohovia and wish you have all but good experiences when you depart. We are currently on are way to the Royal York Hotel, which is located in the middle of the LePage Financial District. The limo was pulling into the skyscraper hotel's entrance.

The Prime Minister was impressed, and could not stop smiling as the limo stopped at the hotel entrance. "It's great to be here," he said as he stepped out of the car. "It's good to get away from home for a while." He looked up at the massive hotel as the press crowded around, taking photographs, and muttered "My God, these people know how to make a foreigner feel welcome", and he stepped into the building, beaming all the way.

"I'm looking forward to meeting everyone"

OOC:

Uh... has everyone arrived yet? If not, we're going to have to draw out time in the rp; as if its still only 11.30 or whatever... we're gonna have to keep drawing it out and imagining its still may 6th until everyone is ready...

SO, uh... when do we start roleplaying the actual event?

The God-Emperor arrived at the event in his medal studded dark green and red military dress uniform, he was flanked by a blind man in the simple clothes of an Andonian peasent who carried himself like a king and a splendidly dressed noble who slouched like a thief.

OOC: Ok, lets skip to the event

IC: The limousines holding the delegates of all invited nations, made their way towards the Presidential Palace, as the limo's turned into the large circular driveway, massive mobs of media were easily visible. The Prime Minister of Bohovia, Aruj Sampson, was standing in the middle of the red carpet that led to the massive lobby of the Palace.

The limo's came to a stop, and the chauffeurs opened the doors, and escorted the delegates out of the vehicle.

The Prime Minister, greeted the delegates warmly and welcomed all of them to Bohovia, as the group slowly walked up the stairs of the palace, they were asked by the media for a group picture. They complied. A group picture was taken.

Bohovian soldiers, dressed in a ceremonial uniform, opened the massive doors to the palace, and exposed the massive diamond studded lobby of the Presedential Palace. The doors closed behind them.

"Welcome to home, ladies and gentleman" said, the Prime Minister

Five Palace servants approached the group, "Hello, ladies and gentlemen if you would please follow me, I will direct everyone to the Grand Ball Room"

The group followed the servant and another large door was opened, which exposed the luxury of the Grand Ball Room.

There were numerous glass tables and chairs set up in groups corresponding to the number of delegates for each country attending and a large stage in the front of the room.

The delegates we led to their table and the Prime Minister, took center stage.

"Ladies and gentleman, we will begin shortly" said the Prime Minister.

OOC: Ill continue, later, have to go to study. For now, i recommend just RP comments on the palace or what not. Ill begin the short speech, and then a dinner as well a meet and greet.

OOC: Not a problem.

IC: Daniel Jackson made sure to look his best for the cameras, and thus had prepared himself long before the limo arrived to pick him up. On the way, he chatted amicably with the driver, showing that his friendly manner was not just a facade for the public viewers. He really was a friendly sort of fellow.

Though the smle he wore got even wider as he stepped out of the vehicle at the Palace. For a few moments, he flashed that grin and waved to the crowds almost like a movie star, before shaking hands with the Prime Minister ("Glad to be here, Mr. Prime Minister, glad to be here.") and standing for the group picture. He was willing to stand for a single picture or one with the Prime Minister, if they asked.

As for the palace...it almost reminded him of Lillia Palace in Darwin. Elegant, richly decorated, it was a Hanseatic dream, almost. Sometimes he mused to himself that he had been born in the wrong half of Australia, and he did so now as the doors closed behind the delegates. He would have responded to the Prime Minister's welcome again, but this time it had been directed at all the delegates at once, and so he contented himself with a nod and the ever-present smile, and followed the servants to the grand Ball Room.

It was as luxurious as the Lobby, he noted with more approval. So it wasn;t just gueststhey knew how to treat right...their leaders too were kept in style, the better to help the people they represented.

He quietly took a seat at his assigned place. he'd been accompanied by no one, security deemd not necessary on a venture such as this. Besides, he could take care of himself in the unlikely event things turned bad. He quetly watched the stage as the other delegates were escorted to their seats, and idly listend to their chit-chat while the Prime Minister made his way up front...

Oceana was surprised by the palace's look. It was beautiful. She, herself, was going to make one when she got back.

She then turned to Daniel Jackson, in which she shook his hand and introduced herself, "I'm Oceana, Vice President of United Isocoles. Might I ask who you may be?"

Oceana was charmed by his very formal greeting.

"Well, they seem nice. The palace looks well put together. But...he seems to nice. He should be a little less friendly. He is like you new him forever and you just came back to him after 1 million years." She said with a sigh.
"I don't know, maybe my home countyr is just too different then the Americas.

Gen. Mohammad Faraz is dressed in a dark blue double breasted suit with a neck tie bearing the heraldic arms of Xinjiang Police. The warm reception received in one of his rare diplomatic missions had really brought the veteran cop to a pleasant mood. Now as he walked inside the artistically and luxuriously appointed Palace, Gen. Faraz looked around for some familiar face. He is new to diplomacy and is not rather wont to be totally at ease in such parties.

"Well, everyone's different, I suppose. The world would be a boring place if we were all the same. To be honest, the big greeting is actually why I volunteered to come here on behalf of my nation. They have always been a people that liked to make others feel welcome."

He briefly glanced around at the other delegates, noticing one man that seemd rather lost (Gen. Mohammad Faraz), and beckoned to him to join them at this table.

"Yes, I suppose." She said.

She looked at her empty plate and glass and felt depressed. It was like her nation, nothing loving about it. She took excused herself, went to a phone, and called her country. After paying for it she went back.

The Prime Minister spoke over the microphone

"Good Afternoon. Ladies, Gentleman, Delegates and Leader alike. I would like to formally welcome all of you, to this gathering, dedicated to promoting peace. To begin the afternoon, I will give a very short speech, regarding why we are all here, today. We will then have a large dinner buffet, where representative of each nation, can talk to each other, or talk to myself, about foreign relations, or about the weather. If any representative would like to speak at anytime after my speech, they are welcome to take the stage and speak their mind. Without further ado lets begin"

The lights slowly dimmed, and a single spot light, was shining on the prime minister.

"No matter where we come from, we are all human beings. We seek happiness and try to avoid suffering, of not only ourselves but of our citizens. But, at the end of the day, though we seek happiness it can only be acheived if we enliminate ignorance, selfishness and greed. The problems we face today, such as war, or all human created, which can be resolved with human effort and understanding, or as we like to call it...diplomacy. Why should our citizens suffer, from comflicts and mistakes commited by the governemnt of a country? There is no reason and no excuse why. Take the wars that took place around Bohovia, against the Tahoe Republic, attackers accused Tahoe of being a rogue nation. Yet, while accused the government of being rogue, innocent civilians of Tahoe were killed, while the government faced little or no death counts. This is not fair for the victims and their families. There is no reason diplomacy would not work on a situation like the one that occurred in the Tahoe Republic. I understand, that in some circumstances, diplomacy wouldn't work, for example if the defending nation is rogue and is actively attacking another nation for no reason, but even in a situation like this, you can attack in a way that completely leaves citizens unharmed, such ways include avoiding missile strikes in areas with civilians or cutting off supplies to that nations people. In my eyes, making citizens suffer for a war between governments is a war crime and is unacceptable. This is why, in the effort for peace, I am willing to sign a Non Aggression Pact, with each and every one of the nations here today. You will never see Bohovia support a nation that purposely kills other countries citizens, and I dont think anyone here would. If were going to achieve peace throughout our fragile world, our first step, is to have more conferences like this. My government is currently organizing a program, that would see a gathering like this occur once every year (OOC: CN Year), that would officially be called the World Peace Conference, nations would be able to nominate there own country for the hosting of the event and officials would decide who is granted hosting privileges and responsibilities, the host nation would decide who is awarded the next World Peace Conference hosting. Every 5 years, the conference would return to Bohovia. This event is still in the works, and I encourage everyone here today to give opinions on this program. I pray for all of us, oppressor and friend, that together we succeed in building a better world through human understanding and love, and that in doing so we may reduce the pain and suffering of all sentient beings. Thank you"

The lights turned on, and the Prime Minister picked up his papers, and began to walk off stage.

OOC: Ill continue with the dinner soon. For now, you can post reactions.

Daniel smiled sympathetically at Oceana, offering no words to accompany the expression, simply letting her know with his expression that he sympathized with her.

Then came the speech.

it reminded him greatly of the early impassioned pleas for peace from a young Sarah Tintagyl, when she was still leader of the Hanseatic League.

Some would call it naive, some would outright scorn it, and others, at least a few of the idealists, would enthusiastically support it. he himself wasn't sure which of these categories he fell into, so he held his words for the time being, instead asking Oceana what shethought of the speech.

"I can't remember the Latin phrase, but the motto, Fortune Favors the Bold, seems appropriate here. They'll either fall spectacularly--or be a rousing success."

He quietly considered that for a moment. "For better or worse, the world has been drastically altered by people who were idealists. The Dalai Lama of Tibet, Sarah Tintagyl of the Hanseatic Commonwealth and later the Queendom of Australia, and now even the recently near-suicidal Distopyan General leading the fight against Tahoe. However that last turns out, the world will never be the same."

The Prime Minister, sat down at his table and about three dozen fully dressed chefs, began to bring in various kinds of foods and deserts. There was food ranging from lobster, to shrimp, to caviar and various kinds of wine. They were rolled into the Grand Ball Room, behind wear everyone was sitting. The chefs began departing and well dressed servants (butlers) entered. The carefully grabbed a bottle of wine, and began circulating the tables, pouring Bohovia's finest red and white wine into delegates and leaders, whine glass's

They began putting one portion of each lobster, caviar, shrimp and vegetables per person, on each table and welcomed all the delegates to Bohovia and the Presidential Palace, and wished all of them a great meal.

The Prime-Minister stood up almost immediately, to make short address

"Ladies and gentleman, we gather here today to promote peace and friendship throughout our world. We are currently setting and example of what the world should be like and one day our vision for peace through out our world, will be achieved"

The Prime-Minister raised his glass to the group

"To, peace and stability throughout Planet Bob!"
