Dirty Rogue War Tactics of the social end

In this game I have found one commend truth about your moral code of conduct, in how we are suppose to treat others in this game. This means how well do you get along , as in, what level of respect do you have towards other CN players, and how does it effect your chances upon getting somewhere in this game. For one, there are a lot of Idiots who wish to play this game. More than often, they will end up wasting their time in building up their nations, just to see all of their efforts fail and burn with their nation. Reason for this dysfunction, may be due to the fact that some of them either go rogue, and end up quitting the game for obvious reason , or become a Victim of a rogue attack, all due to their lack of real social skills; thus they made a lot of enemies, both within and outside of their alliance.

There are a lot of examples of people who come into this game with a billy bad attitude. I would like to think that they usually they don't last very long in the couple of weeks of game play. Mostly because, all of the game rules and the attentions to the growth of your nation, is something of a deterrent in it self. The ones that are the most annoying are the ones who learn how to play this game, and try to bend all of the rules at the same time. And surely, they make someone down the road angry and tried of their stuff. You know of these people. They post topics in the wrong spots on a forum(Repeatedly), the topic are trolled, hot, sensitive, eye bleed, and plan annoying.
You'll see them start crap in the IRC, talking poorly(as in everything to loose grammar to trash talk on others), and again just plan annoying.

Worst case scenario, they gain power in their alliance, and they'll be the ones who start the next major wars.

Everything about this person, that I'm talking about, has to do with both being the victim and aggressor of an attack. Not just any ordinary attack, but a way to cut somebody out of their alliance, and completely making then start form scratch, while starting over or quitting the game entirely.

Is there a name for our commend idiot victim and idiot attacker? The Victim can be called anything form the latest slang's looked up in the Urban Dictionary( @ss hats is the most commend term that I found in CN). The Attacker is no different, but we all know him to be nothing more than just plan rogue. So we have out little victim using up his or hers alliance resources. This can be anything form tech deals to free aid. Sooner or later our little victim becomes one of the many small problems that a Adimn has to deal with, far as the social climax of this horrible monster forum member, and its relationship towards the other member within the alliance. Lets say our victim is about to swim in hot water, and not even know it. One of the many challenges to running an alliance is to deal with all of the people coming into and leaving the alliance, and sometimes when those nations leaves the game they might do so out of boredom. Sometimes they go rogue, and feeling like that they have nothing to lose now.

Our victim in a lot of ways, will usually have a nation that is less than 5k in NS. Remember he fits into the class of a person who has decided to learn how to play this game, but wants to start, and keep drama going forever!!!
Little that our victim knows he just piss off an nation who is way bigger than him, and how has decided to go rogue. Now our victim has nothing to worry about. If he isn't on trail for anything stupid, then he's got the protection of his alliance. In fact, a lot of alliances will protect just about any one, despite the lack of respect. Most alliance members(and people of this game) are bored to tears, and want conflict! So they will fight to make the game more fun for them selves.
But how far does our little good deed go out for our trouble maker? Well Our rogue friend has a good plan. He is at the level of being able to carry NUKES!! And Not just 1 or 2, but like 12 or 15 nukes! He knows he can't just start a war with the smaller nations(due to the commend game rules), but he knows two things. One everybody hates him, two they will not go out on a limb for this pest. SO he sells his Infrastructure, down to the point of where he can legally attack this nation.

Now our victim is fried! Everyone is like asking stupid question like"How does a level 4 k nation have 13 nukes?", well the real question what can our victim do about this problem.
Well, nothing...

The only thing he could have done right, start at the very beginning of his game play. One is to shut up and play that game. That's if you are noticing your peers are starting to foam at the mouth. Keep a low profile. Stay out of peoples threads when you know your not welcome or not suppose to be there. There is no real counter attack if your alliance hates you. Even if you find your self real building your nation, your peeps might not be so welling to give out their hard worked money over your dead body.

I'm sure this can happen to anyone. Even if you had everything you want in the game, and still one day you find your nation to be nuked. You shouldn't be to worried if your peers are willing to help you out. In fact Help in other is the only true counter effect, to punish, and to show the world that our rogue nation was and truly is the idiot of the game.

Perhaps it's the late hour, or it might be that I'm just a bit dense at the moment, but, even after two read-throughs, I'm not quite understanding this post. :S

I agree, I really tried to read it, in fact I tried twice to no avail <_<

Sorry it was just late hour for me, and I talk off way to much.

It's just about nations who go rogue, and who have nukes. They can sell off their infra to attack anyone at a lower level. That lower level nation would be at the mercy of others. Have a good relationship with others before any craziness happens to you. That's the moral of the story...

I'll prof read my draft in the morning.

In response to the first section on people who join CN with a "billy bad attittude" and gain power in alliances... I don't see how that's any different from all the real life aggressive guys who become leaders in corporations and either take them to the top or run them into the ground! As an open free simulation CN is guaranteed to attract all types and I think that's a good thing. Wouldn't the game be boring if EVERYONE was a polite little conformist who dealt fairly with others?

The good thing about Cybernations is that it is open to everyone of every attitudinal persuasion. Keep the world going round in my opinion, those running with scissors kind of people that you allude to. Otherwise the whole universe would become a long tedious grind for the grunts like me who really have no say in the scheme of things. At least this way us plebes have a chance to bust rogues, ghosts, scammers, whatever while we wait for the next big one.

Ouch. Please, next time...proofread BEFORE posting, not the next morning. It's like you blasted a sheet of paper with a shotgun loaded with commas. There was no continuity.

Also, 'plain' and 'plan'...two different words.

Other than that, it was a lengthy post created with the attempt to say something that has already been said. We're never going to have a 'standard' personality that everyone will have to adopt. We're humans.

e: I must say that the typo in the subtitle is mind-blowing..."Getting Alone With Everybody" sounds like the name of an 80's new wave album. ^_^

Why can't people just abide by the old standards?

1. Play CN.
2. Buy nukes.
3. Get bored.
4. Decide to quit.
5. Nuke Moo and/or Bilrow.
6. Delete.
7. Come back and wonder why people are mad at you.

Oh sure, I know this is all very '2007', but I'm a retro kinda guy.

Nothing wrong with the old school way of doing things. But I think nuking Bilrow should be added to the list as well. If Slayer were still around, he'd be #3.

Please Slayer wished he attrackted nuke rogues like I used to. Now with my new nation I have been much to small for them to reach me. Kind of miss that getting nuked 20 times a month for about 2 years straight. The funny part is I never had any idea who they were. Must have been attracked by my sparkling personality.
