How do you win a war?

Someone declared war on me. But what weapon besides navy or Nuke can make me win?

Im playing Tournament Edition.

Every weapon you can use is a tool towards winning. No single military item will cause an instant win. And even then if your target has a greater warchest you don't really ever win.

True, no one really ever wins in a war, in the end both will come out with less infras and tech. But you both do win experience

From the looks of things, the guy who declared against you has less infra, and no airforce, whereas you have a pretty sizable airforce. Bomb him, and if you haven't responded today, rebuy troops and save your deployment and ground attacks until shortly before update...four bombing runs and four ground attacks within a matter of minutes should leave him in rough shape, and while that might not win the war outright, it will definitely give you a dominant position.

Depends what you mean by "win" my friend.
If your original intention was to kill 1 soldier and you lose 10 doing it, you've won. Your opponent might read it a different way though as he has only lost 1 soldier and you have lost 10
Anarchy is sometimes seen as a win and sometime only part way toward it. An alliance might end up with a few guys in anarchy but if the job was to anarchy as many as possible (as an alliance), although your alliance might anarchy all their targets and you don't anarchy any of yours, you have won because your part in the war (assuming you fight) "should" have helped meet the objective.

Like the man says, TPC should have explained this to you
